@@davidhilton8680better in person as I was at the event yesterday, but nothing compared to Lewis’s car or Mika’s v10 that were also running. The best car was the Zonda R v12 and could be heard easily across the track.
I would imagine he was struggling with the downshifting. Contrast than with Tony Kanaan, he was at home in sennas car, all those years driving manual gearbox champ cars helped.
The 84 toleman wasn't half as bad as everyone says it was. It wasn't a race winning car but it wasn't awful. Also the '94 Williams won the constructors championship. It had some aero issues in the first few races but it was still very quick.
Completely agree. Saying that the 94 Williams is not competitive is like saying Red bull this year is not competitive which is ridiculous. This is a perfect example of fans creating their own happiness. What they should be asking themselves is why didn't Damon hill have issues with the car. Even Damon said that he believes Senna made a mistake and crashed. He was human after all. We all make mistakes that sometimes can be fatal. I don't see people saying Simtek killed Roland Ratzenberger. They say Roland made a mistake.
I much prefer the modern cars. I think I'm biased because of the underlying superior technology that is nested in the modern designs. That said, I sometimes like the flat/matte paint on modern cars as the metallic paint has become boring for me.
@@mark4lev He was better than Senna because he was smarter. Senna had incredible talent but he was not the equal of Prost technically or strategically. Most of all, Prost was more consistent and confident as a driver. Senna was too emotional and made far more mistakes in the cockpit.
Lando taking to a manual F1 car like a duck to water.
We would like to hear the car
Yeah, if only they would stfu. 😡
Exactly! Enough of the commentary!
Turbocharged...so...not much to hear.

Driving historic F1 cars must be a privilege

These 2 commentors babbling about all kinds of nonsense while Lando is driving Prost's old car. STFU!
When F1 cars were stunningly beautiful.

He went from driving a v6 turbo to a v6 turbo 😂
😢too much talking and not enough engine noise
The engine's singin' and I can't hear it 'cause you keep yapping...have a heart, mate -
cant hear the car either... blah blah blah
Commentators ruin it
Lando Norris Driving a Prost Mclaren when the commentation is about Senna and Tolman and the lackluster 94' Williams. Identity crisis much?
Yeah not loving the commentary on these recent GWR&R videos... cars and footage are great at least.
The video should be called "Lando Norris drives Ayrton Senna's future teamate's Porsche-powered McLaren MP4/2" Shocking commentary. 😮
Tony Kanaan drove Senna's car. Just amazing!
Titled Norris driving Prost car. Proceed to talk about Senna all the way through. Eh?
Listening to a lot of podcasts it’s obvious Prost was a better driver .
Perfect receip on how to get rid of your job..
Exactly - how ridiculous - they should talking about Prost's absolute genius and driving precision that's never been matched in my opinion.

I came hear to hear engines sing, tires screech, not a podcast😢
please give us car audio only!!!
Happy Birthday Lando🎉
Grand history -- portrait in motion.
Beautyful Car 👍
Imagine this rear wing on the current McLaren 😁
Do the commentators have any idea what's going on out on the track?
Is that Sonoma?
Yep!
@@s.j.l.8736 I thought it looked familiar. Nice 😂😂
The yapping... let us hear a little bit at least
2024 we're back
Can't be the same car. Real one had Marboro on the side.
Niki Lauda's world championship car
