Thanks for watching the whole thing bro, a true “lawn care nut” indeed 👍🏼 Love the mower, coming from an old McLane it’s night & day. Lightweight, quiet, easy HOC adjustment, and excellent cut quality.
You know I’m there 4 ya! I’m glad you like it! When u first started it, I laughed cause it sounded like a 2 stroke dirt bike... idling in a garage.... 🤔
Jeremy I had the the side door open and garage door halfway open when i fired it up in the garage 😉 still not 100% safe but hey it was raining outside 😁
nice!! what kind of grass is this? PRG + KGB? Love the flatness + the low cut. Unfortunately my 3500 sq ft yard is bumby (snow and dogs) and TTTF so I can't go this low. Again as you know love the layout of your backyard... that retaining wall area deserves a nice lighting setup! It's cheap actually you can get a whole setup for less that $100 at Lowes - 12v transformer + LED spotlights
@@ShortCutLawn how long have you been Reeling and why you switch from a rotary mower? I'm seriously thinking about getting a reel mower, I have my bermuda grass maintained at 1 1/2
Great job on your lawn ShortCut . Do you feel the 45 18 inch was the right size for you? Or do you wish you got the 55 22 inch? I have a tight 1000 sf front lawn with block edges and bushes etc and was going to order the 45 18 inch. Back of my mind keeps thinking 22 stripes vs 18. LOL. Appreciate any feedback.
I’ve thought about it for long time and I’m glad I went with the 45, my lawn is about 1500sqft with many corners and weird angles, 55 would’ve been much tougher to maneuver. I think skinnier stripes looks better on a smaller lawn. I have samples of the stripes on my instagram acct. you can check it out @theshortcutlawn thanks 👍🏼
I do both, when I’m cutting longer clippings I’d bag, those long clippings would show as a yellow haze on the lawn after a few days especially on a short cut lawn. No bag when I’m cutting 1/4” or less.
Would be good if you give a short intro before the videos. I'm not one for chattering, but why do you cut strips of paper after tuning and what type of mower are you using, how many days since your last mowing...? Things like that.
Man, when I'm watching your videos I feel like viewing some cool mowies...never got bored
I got my Swardman last July. I love it. I am using the scarifier attachment this week to get my Bermuda ready for the warmer weather.
Nice Mike,..I’m having a problem with mine, carb issues I think.
The ShortCut Lawn If you bought it from reelrollers give them a call or email. They are very helpful and respond to emails pretty quick.
I’m in contact with one of the guys from Swardman, thanks mike 👍🏼
A Beautiful lawn deserves a quality cut. Bad ass reel mower!
Great mower and great looking lawn 👍
Thanks 👍🏼
Beautiful
Great stufff! I was there till the end! It did get a intimate watching you rub your blade (s)..... 😏
How do you like the swardman?

Salvador, yes it’s mainly NuGlade kbg with a little bit of rye. Yeah those led lights would look good huh? I might do it sometime this fall.
Mid March in Cali, Surely your cutting again?
1st mow in four months coming up, 70’s this weekend so it should be perfect 👌🏼
What type of grass and what height you keeping it at?
On this video it’s NuGlade Kentucky bluegrass, 1/2” to 5/8”

Since 2018. I use both, mainly use my rotary for cleaning/vacuuming debris that could damage my reel.
I am looking into getting the swardman Edwin 2.1

Good work
How are you edging the small gaps where the retaining blocks come together?
I mainly use the Power Rotary Scissors and Worx trimmer.
+shortcut lawn Reason you don't bag??

Wow amazing!!
I'm going for an Allett personally.
Not a bad choice 👍🏼
I'd pressure wash the fence....
That’s actually on my to-do list this year 👍🏼
Then paint it! Would really take this yard to the next level
