I put these in my 1977 F250 highboy 4x4. I had a 460 w/ Cam, 10.5 : 1 compression, 4bbl edelbrock. 530hp, 33 inch tires. Used 15W-50 lube oil.. A Flipping 4x4 beast! The cops hated my truck. ! Transmission Oil Cooler.. You need to cool the tranny when towing a camper/heavy trailer/loads.. Oversize Radiator doubles the coolant volume and gives the coolant more time to cool and dump heat while cycling through the system.. use straight green antifreeze Only! Water to top it off.. I raced a guy over snoqualmie pass at 80mph in my F250.. Guy was determined to beat me.. I stayed alongside him to mess with him and as we approached the steeper part of the pass i stepped on it a little, he did too.., i already knew what was going to happen.. About 3 miles further up the hill he totally overheated.. Steam pouring out. Lolol 🛻🤠....... 🚙☁️😮 I did not do this on my truck, but you can change the Thermostat such that it opens at a lower temperature to keep the engine running at a lower temps.. The government wants the engines running hot to burn off the fuel for clean air purposes.. Ask some of your car buddies and they will agree. 🛻🤠 Have Fun! Dont get caught! Lol

My brother found mine. The guys who had it were going to turn it into a dirt track car. Bought it from them for $500. Put the work in and she's a beauty. Keep on doing it brother !!!
