I don't entirely know why, but these monthly #WITNS videos are super relaxing.

The last two nights I have been observing a red light in the sky that looks like a faraway star. It is high in the sky and it keeps moving erratically . Some times like circular and other times like a darting motion. I have never seen this before and I wonder if you would know what this is. To me it reminds me of a childs balloon blowing in the wind or a bee hovering around an object to land. Thanks.

I only found this video because I was looking for StarStaX tutorials. You lost me a bit there as I'm no good at identifying which star is which, LOL, but I got the dates and directions to look in, so thanks for the info. 😁

May I ask you a question, I brought the Nikon z6 mirror less with a kit lens of 24 to 70, can you recommend a zoom lens and a wide angle lens for the Milky Way and a zoom for Andromeda and Orion

Mother trucker I missed the damn deadline! I was out last night star trailing for hours. It was spent with good company tho and managed to see a few meteors flying by. Thanks for the challenge as it was an interesting learning curve. More practise needed
    Congrats Mark. Well deserved 😁
