Agreed , they’ve been one of my favourite bands/artists since I was 13 years old , I’m 22 now and still can’t get enough of their music. I do prefer their older stuff but every now and again they drop a track like this which reminds me why I love them so much

Arcane is peak, even if you don't watch it, the soundtrack is worth listening to (both seasons). All of the songs were made for the show and they're all amazing.

Bruh...I hadn't heard this yet n haven't watched ur channel in awhile but I'm crying right along with u. 😭 6mnths ago I found my ex boyfriend/best friend dead on my bedroom floor where he'd been sleeping since his parents kicked him out. He struggled with mental health n addiction most of his life n he left 2 sweet little boys behind to be raised by the parents that made him feel worthless. It breaks my heart n I miss him EVERY DAY. 💔 Twenty One Pilots was our favorite band n he also loved ur videos n I had him saying the "2 E's know why" whenever we watched. This song just brought sooo much emotion out cuz it's like he's talking to ME thru Tyler. 😭 Love u brother. 💜🫶💜

I do not know the first thing about Arcane or League of Legends, but this song is truly something special. I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about the scene it's going to be in!
As for why I love TOP: I have been a fan for about 10 years now, because they care. Their music isn't just notes and words: It's their hearts, poured out for the world to hear. We aren't just fans to them. We're blood. We're family, and they trust us to a level that most celebs of their caliber wouldn't. That is super rare, and i'm just so glad to be on the planet at the same time as them! ❤

Tyler is a genius, and Josh is a mad scientist with those drums. This song is so ethereal and gut-wrenching, especially knowing it was written for his Grandma, who passed in 2022. He also incorporated it to fit into the show. He was present at her death, and anyone who has been in the room while a loved one passes knows how much it changes you. I love those boys so much!

Not sure if you’ve ever done their cover of “cancer” but if you haven’t, I would love to see you do that. I am a cancer survivor who lost her sister to cancer and that song is so powerful and I love the way you’re so open with your emotions.
TOP is one of my favorite bands for several reasons. The biggest is their music touch’s my soul. 💜
I've probably listened to the song 30 times now. I love how the boys just never disappoint. I got into top when I was going through a very tough period. When I was busy putting on a show of how strong was to the world, Tyler saw me and saved my life. I turned my noose into a leash and let the music inspire me to become creative and love life again.
They are more than a band, they are subversive artists of the highest degree and I love them for it.
This song is beautiful, Tyler is great at sounding so vulnerable, I think most people can relate to this in someway. Theres a video trailer until the full one on the 25th

TOP is my favorite band. Their music is so varied, there's something to listen to no matter how you're feeling. Tyler's voice is amazing, and both his and Josh's passion come through in their music. I was fortunate to see them in concert this year, and they seem so humble and just happy to perform for everyone. Two awesome people making awesome music!
I missed the live premiere at work, but . This song is so beautiful and reminds me a bit of Mad World. I'm not even sure I can explain why I love TOP as much as I do, but they make me feel things, and the incredible community really adds to the fan experience.

I watched the pilot episode today! Loved it! Made me tear up within first 10 minutes, and the cliffhanger slapped! Been a pilots fan for 15 years and saw them live for the first time for my last birthday in my 20s in September. What a time to be alive!

The music is fun and catchy. The music is also deep , meaningful, and sometimes a bit spiritual. Tyler Joseph is a genius and Josh Dun is the perfect counterpart. They are both kind, loving, and indulgent to the fans.

I've been listening to this one on loop all day today. I can't help but think about the lore. I take it as Clancy may be turning into one of the bishops. Either that, or it's when Clancy was stuck back in Dema.

HUGE TØP fan here-they are just so incredibly talented while still managing to be humble and dedicated to their fans. This song is just phenomenal. I listened with my daughter and wife who are also huge fans as soon as this dropped last night. And the MV is out on Monday morning at 10 am EST! So excited to see it.

I only heard how great this show was and finally watched it once I heard twenty one pilots was a part of s2, love this band, love this show.
I always liked them but then my teenage son fell in love with them oartly because he could really relate to Tyler. I started liking them more and then Clancy clinched it for me. I like them so much for a few reasons:
1. Their music grows with them and they only make music with integrity.
2. Their love for each other is contagious and a joy to watch.
3. I love the sound and think the new ways they put music together and reimagine their songs is a blast and genius.
4. The lore and metaphor in the Lore is exciting and meaningful.
5. The lyrics speak to me personally and deeply.
I also think the team they put together in almost every aspect is wonderful. Go down the rabbit hole of how many people who are with them now were with them in the beginning and stayed and learned their craft together. Watching the different tour series is fascinating and shows how they work together as a unit. Love it.
Three weeks late to comment but wow this was such an amazing show. The story was simultaneously devastating and uplifting. Every song fit the scenes perfectly. Have been listening to the soundtrack on repeat for weeks.

I’m a huge fan. It was really hard to get over my own ego since my teenage boys got me hooked to thier music and “I didn’t discover it myself” kinda like not wanting to be that parent who try’s to act too young and love everything they love but when I saw them in concert and the boys really introduced me to “listening/feeling” the music I dropped all that ego out the door and I have no problem admitting they are my favorite band. My fav music was Faith No More, incubus, pantera, no point, 12 stones, Lionel Richie, shade and Fiona Apple so this definitely took me by surprise.
In the context of arcane, this song plays over Viktor letting go of his girlfriend’s spirit who he accidentally killed while trying to make the arcane stronger

I feel like the light shine on my face line is a trees reference. Not directly. No lyrics in trees about the light shining. But trees is about the seeking out of God. The light shining on you is (in many cases) reference to God. Maybe a stretch but it is what I choose to believe.

It’s hard to fight back the tears without having seen Arcane. Tyler says it would be great if they could get some Arcane fans that become ToP fans and I know that will happen.
I am a huge ToP fan because they are mental health warriors, they are extremely talented, they don’t stick to one genre, I love their brotherly relationship and I feel they have both saved each other in different ways. I can’t list all the reasons I love them. Got to see them in Chicago for the first time this year! 🎉

@martynsprawson1264 He wrote the song for Arcane but drew upon his grandmother's passing in 2022 that he witnessed. I 100% feel it is about God's light as she passes on to the next realm. Finding that out about his Grandma changed the song in such a deep and emotional way for me.

When I heard this song I cried so hard I have no clue why. Twenty one pilots pulled off that cinematic feel, and with Tyler’s intimate vocals it feels like he’s just so defeated. I related this to the lore for sure, I imagine it as Clancy thinking in his head as he’s seeing Nico, and he’s talking to the Clique. I have no clue if I’m on the right track but I don’t really care that’s what I feel. Anyway, thought I’d share.

Arcane is one of the BEST series (animated or not) that I've watched. The characters are brilliant, their stories are so well written, the show hits you in the heart like a bullet constantly, it's just beautiful and heart-breaking. I 100% you go binge watch the whole thing. It's captivating.
You see how this song affected you emotionally, that's how the whole series hits!
I'd love to hear your thoughts as a filmmaker on this series. It has some great music pieces and visuals, so you'll have a lot to react to. The story is great, it has rich character arcs and it's one of the most unique in terms of it's ability to flip art styles through the show.

Arcane is amazing, one of the best shows I've ever seen. And I realize I'm some random dude and that sounds like fanboy twaddle, but... seriously.
The second season in particular does an astonishing job at integrating music into the action and narrative.
Usually it takes me a few episodes to get into a show, but this show grabbed me from the opening scene.
Arcane is a masterpiece on all fronts, and it's soundtrack is no exception 🙌

I definitely recommend Arcanr to you, knowing you from reactions you will enjoy it, it may wreck you in the most beautiful way but you will also appreciate the cinematography voice acting story arcs & all even though it is animated… I recommend this show to any who will listen
Feels like the end from Paladin Strait (music video) is similar to the beginning of The Line (strings) and the end of The Line (piano) is the beginning of Overcompensate. Clancy can't fight this time now and asked if the Bishops would let him over, if he'd cross the line. After that, the cycle is starting again.
I hope Clancy just pretends of losing against Nico and being a Bishop, so he can destroy it from the inside.

TOP initially caught my attention with the musicality of Heathens. Admired that they played on the upbeat and , wow, was I pleasently surprised when I discovered their discography. Then I grew to love them as a band, love their message, and respect them as well grounded, genuine souls. Their music has definitely impacted the course of my life.
