Thanks for the shout out Chris. Cats are happy campers. One unhappy mouse made a condo in your mower. Every year something gets chewed up. Last year was the wires to the magnito on the wood chipper. One year i tried ti outsmart them by placing glue traps all over the garage floor. Late at night i heard my compressir running so i slipoed on my shoes and i went out to shut off the circuit to the compressor. Some of the cardboard was chrwed around the traps and the rest of the glue traps were stuck to the bottom of my shoe. I like the two pack set up. Especially the jump start. Warnings here for this evening. Rain, 80 mph winds. .
I recommend any newer subs that don't remember old woodyard start about two years ago and keep watching backwards, LOT'S of good stuff, thanks for the video Chris
Good to see where it all started Chris. Brings back the memories of when I first found your channel. Tony will miss his little secret spot to get his water to fill his bottles though. Ann Marie is definitely a great lady with a big heart for the cats, thank you Ann Marie.
That tool package has a heck of a lot of features. Air compressor , battery jumping capability. Water pump, light. Pretty neat. Great to carry with you where ever you go. Sad to see the ash trees dying. Great video.
Good morning Chris!!😀😀 Another really nice gadget!! You guys had to have give away more than 8 cats. We took 4 of them our self. They are still all doing well. The orange and white tom cat has decided to live on the front outside porch and has become a great pet. Take care my friend!!😀😀💚💚 Logger Al
Great video Chris you knew were to start looking for mouse nest. I would remove the shroud and check for damage bare wires. That’s a great little device you have.
I have a John Deere D130 that I got for $400. It only had 60 hrs. on it. I live in the Ouachita Mountains so rocks are everywhere! I have chopped up a million of them. It is one tough cookie!
Chris, You might want to check about your plan to have your jumper pack in the truck full-time. I had a very nice one that was always in my truck, but with the temps that build up inside the cab, the battery swelled like a tick(!) and became unsafe to use. I had to get a new one, and (sadly) don't leave it in the cab all the time. The directions warned me of that... if I would have read them!
you missed the most important part lol My Grandmother wouldn't let her lawn be mowed until the Grandkids would pick her all the pretty yellow flowers. She would hand each grandchild a plastic ice cream pail and tell us to start picking. We made her happy, little did we know what she was doing with them until we got older. Dandelion wine was the first followed by all the fruits grown on her farm as they ripened. ty for bringing back those memories
That kind of looks like my mower. I have a 300 John Deere. That is a cool looking tool that will do about anything you would need. We live in the woods and we have trouble with mice getting into the vents in our vehicles and when we get oil changes, the air filter boxes are full of hickory nuts.
Its not really in my local area so i forgot about it. Im a little in land. . But pacific madrone wood. Considered to be 30.9 btus per cord. On charts on the net. Its basically Considered a native weed. For as dense as it is, it grows way fast. . Myrtle Tree is the other one. Its the one thats been found growing in Israel, of all places. . There are a few others right around to 30 million btus per cord mark. But not very much of it.
I did that one year (20 years ago) But with 4 acres it cost about $1500 back the per application and it needed 3 to get them all ...So....no more $5000 a year to kill dandelions! Plus my neighbors do not do it so it was a lost cause.
If the last two weeks of your videos are examples of your new format, l am disappointed. My favorites videos are strictly about activities related to firewood production in the woodyard and the gathering of wood for the woodyard. Too many info commercials and dealership videos. For people who live outside of dealership area where you live, l fail to see where they are any value. Hope to see a return to more woodyard activities, like your old format.
I have made a video EVERY day for 4 years straight now over 1400 of them. Some will be not firewood. Most people have a hard time making it to Friday each week.

I think Tony stops in when I am not there and laps up water from the creek like a dog!
Nice job Chris. I like Tony’s creek.
Thanks 👍

Thanks for the tips! I did not think of that!
Selling that property will free up some funds!! Good place to be.
Yup and it will cut down on expenses a bunch...taxes alone are $14,000 A YEAR!!
you missed the most important part lol

Yup, darn rodents are everywhere!
Gotta like how fast the green beast fired up.. after a winter off!
Yup, she did okay!
Good Morning Chris I have been cutting up fallen trees on my property sense the winter damage. So far about 5 cord of oak and other 4 cord of maple.
Wow, you have been pretty busy, how many acres?
@@InTheWoodyard yes I have not bad for a 67 year old lady LOL
@@InTheWoodyard 143.7 acres
Its like a Red Green episode 😅
I'll get the duct tape!
Looks like you better take a couple of them Wood Cats 🐈 over to the Old Woodyard for spring mouse 🐁 round up!!
Yup, I thought of that, maybe some play days or something!
What happened to the row of trees you plantes in the field?
The deer killed them all!
What would you like to get for the truck
No idea what it is worth now???
Looks pretty good from what I can see from the video
Look at all the food you could be eating the flowers are edible along with the greens
I eat food not weeds. My food eats weeds.
Nothing runs like a Deere, when it’s running. 💪

You probably have a bunch of nest at cylinder head- might run hot if don't clean-take complete top cover off.
Yup, I will take a look at it!

@@InTheWoodyard makes sense
👍👍👍
Thanks!
Are you sure you needed to clean that out?
Yes, I did not want live ones getting mashed up in there.
Readings on pump in bar? 1 bar =14.5 psi.
Thanks, I knew it was over 10 so now I know!!!
Hello Anne Marie 🧑🌾
Hi from the South Sector.
Thanks Rick!
Good Morning Woodhounds!(-:
Morning!
Mice got in my air cleaner box inside my truck cab. Over a 1000 dollars to repair it. Jammed the mechanism in it.

OUCH! little buggers can cause a lot of damage!
🎉
thanks!
Nice video Chris. Hope you find an aspiring professional photographer that will purchase your property/business and fulfill their ownership dream. GNI
I hope so too! But most likely it will become some kind of office.
