Absolutely beautiful! We had one very, very wet camping holiday in Glencoe many years ago - so wet that at the end of our week's stay, the campsite owner came and shook my hand and congratulated me on sticking it out! Happy days!!
Great vid as usual. I did the NC500 last yr and i would agree is a stunning trip.i went in June, no midges and generally good weather Take good water proofs .Empty roads but the hotels were getting booked up due to the popularity of the NC500. Applescross pass is stunning!!with a great pub the applecross Inn at the bottom .Every corner is a postcard view.In the highlands, phone signal dodgy and don't ride pass a petrol station without toping up. You can run out of petrol up there. The Ceilidh Place is a great hotel on the west coast. I would do it again too much to see on one trip. Keep up the good work.
I've been watching your videos for two or three months now. As a non biker I've found them fascinating, and I'm getting into the gear too! I've now booked cbt course at 46 yrs old. Can't wait! Thanks for the time and effort you put into this channel.
+TheMissendenFlyer I'll let you know for sure. I've even persuaded my Wife to do the cbt too. I might be needing to buy two bikes in the not too distant future!
A superb tourist add for Scotland, brought back memories of doing that route two years ago , and making me want to go back . Your films just keep getting better and better . Keep up the great work loving everything you put out .
That was a Great Video, I can understand why you had that Big Grin on your Face. Looking forward to the next Video, I agree with you, I haven't done camping now for years.
I'm glad to see you've decided to do this tour. I go up to Scotland most years and I've stayed in the Erskine Hotel and rode that route many times. Now you have reached Glencoe and Fort William, now the real fun will begin. You are right to keep the speed down and enjoy the scenery, have fun.
Just stopping by to say I've been watching this series at least once a year since you posted it. Scotland's been a bucket list destination for me for most of my life (family heritage and all), and these videos provided a lot of inspiration for the "right way" to go experience it. Happy to report I just got back and it was truly a trip of a lifetime. As much as these videos helped prepare me for some of the roads and conditions I would encounter, the scale of those landscapes is truly beyond words or pictures. I've also got a whole new appreciation for what you did in 3 days (!). I did about 900 miles in 4 days and was absolutely beat at the end of each day, especially the 2 spent between about Wick and Applecross. There's no rushing some of those roads, and the wind was no joke! Add in wanting to stop to take in scenery, take a photo or two, meal and bathroom breaks, and even a 150 mile day can leave you running on fumes. Anyway, all this to say, thanks for making and posting these videos. They were instrumental in helping me achieve a lifelong dream :)
A very popular man dies in the Trossachs area of Scotland and his old widow wishes to tell all his friends at once, so she goes to the local paper and says, 'I'd like tae place an obituary fur ma late husband.' The man at the desk says, 'OK, how much money dae ye have?' The old woman replies, '£5' to which the man says, 'Ye won't get many words for that, but write something and we'll see if it's ok.' So the old woman writes something and hands it over the counter. The man reads 'Peter Reid, has deid.' He feels sad at the abruptness of the statement and encourages the old woman to write a few more things, saying, 'I think we cud allow 3 or 4 more words fer ye money!' The old woman ponders and then adds a few more words and hands the paper over the counter again. The man then reads - 'Peter Reid, has deid. Ford Escort for sale.'
Did exactly the same route last spring on my old R1150GSA and can honestly say it was the most breathtaking and epic ride that Ive ever done in the British Isles! Sadly I didnt have my Gopro at the time so thankyou so much for sharing such great footage of it and looking forward to part 2!
we don't bother with signs either :) tried the nc500 last 'summer'. but rain that would float Noah's arc halted our progress. great video, looking forward to the second part.
the ride to glencoe has got to be the most beautiful anywhere in the world. the views from the. gopro. were incredible. who cares about the. weather. fantastic. footage by the way looking forward to seeing the next installment safe journey. many thanks
James Hearne The Ring of Kerry, in the south west of Ireland is a must route. Slea Head, on the Dingle peninsula, the most westerly point of the Irish mainland, is where two of the Spanish Armada ships were wrecked on the rocks in 1588. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life!
Loch Lomond my local roads, the suns been shining since Sunday and looking good for the next 7 days, another great video, hope it dried up for you, can't wait for the next part .
Awesome, you made it up to Scotland TMF! I'm only 10 mins in to the video (you're leaving the Trossachs) and it has already brought back so many great memories of a road trip up to Mallaig with two mates a few years ago. Beautiful country, scenery and roads. We got stuck in FAR more traffic trying to get out of Glasgow than you had here (1-2hrs queue on the A82, it was May half term break). On the way back we got up at 3am to avoid the queues and I did the stint from Mallaig to south of Glasgow (~150miles) in 3hrs. Still the drive of my life! Completely empty roads... apart from the Red Deer. Whilst a lot closer to home, if you fancy a tour around Essex's greenery some time (Finchingfield etc.), let me know! I would be more than happy to give you a tour of Essex, Cambs, Suffolk. There is a route in Biker's Britain for this area. It should be closer to home than Orford that you went to last year.
🤘enjoyed the video. Sometimes I forget how lucky I am to live in the Highlands. It's only when you see the countryside from someone else's prospective that you realise this. Can't wait to see how you enjoy the road to Durness.👍🏍
As always enjoying your Vids. It's God's Country the views are spectacular, no wonder you keep commenting on them!. Went to Scotland with the family a couple of years ago and did "the tour" and loved it. Now your inspiring me to do it on the 1600. Keep up the good work, have fun. Looking forward to the next Vids. H
Really enjoyed that, such a nice chilled yet excited feeling to be out for a proper adventure on your bike. A very enjoyable vlog and looking forward to the rest of the series.
Great to watch your trip. I’ve not been along that road since 2005, a beautiful place to be, even working up there driving a HGV like I was. That’s a great road especially from the Green wellie stop cafe and up over the glencoe pass and on to a Fort William. Wonderful.
Fantastic footage, thank you. I was there 2 weeks ago on a Holiday back home. Glencoe never fails to inspire & take my breath away. Always been my dream to do it on a bike, so your vid takes me there & give's me a great memory to keep while back in the heat of Chiangmai Mai. Brilliant
My work when home is in Dumbarton but I'm based offshore and live in Glasgow , most of that route is on my doorstep love it hope you had a great ride up our way did that run end of last yr and hit great weather we were lucky , I'm just back from doing the wild Atlantic way last wk awesome and will be posting soon Thanks for sharing Steven
Just realised I can link UA-cam via the Sky Q box and up on the big screen so just watched all 6 parts.Fabulous video TMF, thoroughly enjoyable watch. Planning to do this trip on my Tiger 1200 once the restrictions allow.
Loved watching this video TMF. I recently did the same route on a 1299 panigale from Cheshire, not the most practical bike but had a lot of fun & got lucky with the weather. I agree about the scenery , it's simply unbelievable . Great vids & frequent uploads equals a very happy sub, well done pal.
Cool. Just picked up our old motor home after a newly refurbished carb fitted. Don't get stuck behind us, lol. Hoping to get the bike to British Columbia or Montana this summer. Missus driving the motor home as the support team. She doesn't know yet. Went to a wedding in Balloch many years ago. They're happily divorced now. Look for a little b&b in South Queensferry for your last stop. Can't remember the name. Great place and lovely views in the town of the forth bridges. Enjoy your tour. Oh biking weather here all of a sudden. 28 degs by Friday.
So glad you finally made this trip, you're going to love it and I guarantee you'll go back again. It's a little while since I've been but watching this brings back wonderful memories. Ride safe and thanks a bunch for sharing the videos. cheers tony
Thank you gents - glad you managed to stay awake (I found it very soporific whilst editing, but then I did have to ride it then watch it about 5 times)....
Great Video! I just completed a 7,000 km two week trip on my new R1200GS - BC, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, and Utah. Amazing trip. Its amazing to set off in the morning in one environment, like a Pacific Rain Forest and then after a days driving it turns into a desert! The comment about seeing the landscape on a bike is correct. Its the difference between watching a movie on your iPad versus a theatre screen. I'm looking forward to the subsequent parts of your Scotland trip!
Seriously great video. Can't wait for part 2. These touring videos have inspired me to fix up my '04 SV650S and get it back on the road. It's been garaged for nearly 4 years now, so it's a bit rough at the moment and needs some fixing up, but still starts first time.
I am from Edinburgh but now live in France, this video made me homesick especially driving past Ben Dorain, the pyramid peak at 13:35. I've hiked up that a few times in winter and summer. A good base is to camp or stay at Bridge of Orchy hotel I was usually there with my paraglider. Applecross Inn is fabulous for summer evenings and good food. If you come up from Stirling rather than Glasgow the road via Callender and Killin is epic too arguably more spectacular than the Lomond road.
Wunderbar! I'm in the closing stages of doing my own tour shortly. Starting from my home in the south of the UK - a multi-stop camping tour up to and around Scotland and back again. Your video cements my appetite further. Thanks!
Dear Mr MissendenFlyer, what a great vid!!! I am a newbie to motorcycling (well sort of) as I have recently got myself a little 125 to get back into biking and intend to get a BMW1150RT next year to do some serious mileage and I cant wait to get up to Scotland. Decent commentary and epic views especially the last 5mins of the vid. Keep it up son, as I am sure there are many such as myself that love watching these videos. Happy days!!
I did it in reverse order in 2014 on a vtr100f......approx 119 miles to a tank.....fuel is few and far between up that part of the country. Beautiful part of the world. Nice vid :-)
great country to see from NY state , US. Those huge valleys with the mountains in the distance are completely different than what we have here . Enjoy your videos.
I wish we'd had chance to go up there this week! Lynn and me are off to Moffat tomorrow morning. We'll be riding back via Selkirk, Acomb and Alston. It'll be a full day out! That's the beauty of living in the NW of England, this ride can be done in a day. We'll be having lunch at the fabulous Buccleuch Hotel in Moffat. You've got to sample their 'Duke Pie'! Perfect biking hotel to tour around the area. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your series.
Hi TMF this brings back memories for me I toured around Scotland and the Isle of Skye in the mid 70s on my Suzuki 750 kettle, great roads looks busy now though but lovely scenery. Can't wait for part 2.
Once again a great video. Done this trip a couple of times but usually do it over ten days with a couple of days off the bike in either Oban or Ullapool. Keep up the good work sir
Magnifique! Memories - what a beautiful Scottish Summers day - as a Glaswegian we spent many holidays up the North of Scotland - Loch Lomond - I'm sure it was there you could walk the low road which was probably a foot below the waterline. I would love to take my wife over there for a holiday - on a bike around. One day. :-) Thanks MF - a great video - waiting for the next.
Great Video! I was thinking of doing the NC500 this year, but had to be postponed until next year. After seeing this it has to be a must! Looking forward to the next videos, enjoy and stay safe.
We holiday every year in scotland,my favourite place on the planet. Thanks for this, looking forward to seeing how you get on with the place.Applecross gave my wife her first grey hairs :)
As you were about to and have found out the A87 from Inveraray over to Glen Shiel and then on down to Dornoch is a peach of a road too. Nice video and some nice still photos.
Yes. Fabulous scenery, lovely weather! Typical Scottish conditions - Just perfect for a bit of adventure motorbiking. You should try a bit of wild camping too sometime soon. I'd love to see that.
TheMissendenFlyer returned the bike I hired yesterday did over 1,200 miles from Inverness round the nc500 route plus Isle of Skye and Mull. I was slightly annoyed I couldn't take mine due to work constraints.
Awesome video, we traveled south from Inverness and down through Glencoe 2 weeks ago. We had great weather for our 4 weeks in the UK. Beautiful country, a lot different to back here in Western Australia.
Thank you sir, relived my tour up that way 4 years ago, going anti clockwise though. So want to go back and see more of my home country, Glencoe is such haunting place when you learn about the massacre all those years ago. You are right about it being a fairly short ride in miles but takes forever to go anywhere, have to stop a lot and look at the views and take photos. Look forward to the next episode, Glencoe to Fort William is awesome ride, hope you stopped at Fort George, great piece of history there. 👍👍👍👍👍
Nice vid, brings back a load of memories. Some great roads to choose from up there 👍 I know that route well as I've camped a few times with the bike at Loch Lomond plus many times with caravan on fishing holidays. Some great routes round Argyl & Bute, Inverary, Loch Awe etc. If you don't want to go up quite that far there's some great routes through Dumfries & Galloway a bit further south, the Dalveen Pass and the A702/712 through to Clatteringshaws is a particular favourite of mine. Had quite a few day trips up there too, longest was 798 miles, that was a long day!
Excellent Mr Flyer, done the same area up to Fort William & Malliaig, last year Going to return later this year have three nights booked at Portsonachan near Dalmally, then head for the NC500 which I'am looking forward to on my 1200GS
Great to see this and so many memories of last year. Your second stop just after the bridge: glad to see they've paved that! I was on a Ducati 999. Applecross Pass was 'interesting' on that so looking forward to the footage. Chewed up both rear tyres of mine and my friend's Harley by the end of the trip. Abrasive roads. Glad to see you're doing it the right (clockwise) way around 😎 Probably why you saw so many bikes going the wrong way!
If you think Glen Coe is beautiful you're going to love the Torridon mountains before Gairloch. After Ullapool it gets even more spectacular. Great video mate. Stay safe.
Me and a couple of friends did a very similar route way back in 2003 (I was on a CBR 1000) - loved it - There is a small loop to Kinlochleven (B863) from North Ballachulish to Glen Coe which is fantastic, a ride around the whole loch. We took the A838/A836 around the top of Scotland, what a road! - we stopped in Bettyhill and took in Dunnet Head as well as John O'Groats. Another highlight is the A82 following Loch Ness although the traffic can be tough and don't forget the Glenfinnan viaduct (from the A830) - the railway bridge from the Harry Potter films.
Nice video. I was up there last weekend with the BMWClub weekend. First time riding up through Glencoe to Oban. Doing nc500 in summer, looking forward to your next vid.
I love it around western Scotland. You should try up arrocar and over to Inveraray and west loch tarbert. Some great roads. Looking forward to the next episode. Col
Excellent, did loch Lomond and Glencoe last september amazing places a long way from Cornwall but worth the trip, look forward to part 2 Thanks for sharing
Great video, very much enjoyed you taking on this adventure journey. Reviews, maintenance and kit are all interesting but tours like this reminds us of what motorcycle riding is all about :-)
Fantastic scenery and a 'must do' on any bike. It's all within relatively easy distance for me, and I love a day out round the borders. Strangely, I'm following another tour round a similar route on the Mapped channel. As always, a great commentary. Looking forward to the rest of the trip very much. I think I'll be heading round that route next year for sure.
Scotland could well be the most beautiful country in Europe. Been there on the bike in 2015. But from a riding point of view, I didn't find it very challenging (apart from the cold and the rain), so will go there again this summer...in the cabriolet, just enjoying the view :) Great video again!
Great video TMF, glad you enjoyed the local roads - I live 5 miles from Erskine and ride my GS along the bonnie banks and north on a regular basis. As you say, the kind of roads the GS was made for! Looking forward to part 2.
Oh yes, I've been looking forward to this. Told you it was worth the trip, beautiful eh? , not as warm NZ but the scenery is just as epic. Makes me wan't to jump on the bike and head back up there right now!
Excellent video as usual TMF - was pleasantly surprised to see this pop up and realised you'd been up here! I'm only 90 mins from Glencoe and lucky I can do much of the Trossachs as an after-work ride if the fancy (and the weather!) takes me. Really looking forward to the next instalment - even though I know what's coming!
Awesome video TMF, as a scot I only experienced the NC500 for the first time last year and was amazed at the scenery in my own country, so much so I'm doing it with wife on the back this time in August! I'm sure you will be back as well! Cheers
Good video mate of my back yard , bet your not used to all this space down south , north west Scotland the views and roads were made for bikers, being former biker myself never driving on such great roads as in my homeland. All the best to you mate.😃👍🏴
Great stuff. Amazing footage...I can see why so many Scots settled here where I live in North Carolina. Enjoying this a lot.
Great stuff - lots more to come, stay tuned!
Absolutely beautiful! We had one very, very wet camping holiday in Glencoe many years ago - so wet that at the end of our week's stay, the campsite owner came and shook my hand and congratulated me on sticking it out! Happy days!!

Brilliant, it would be amazing to think I'd inspired someone to take up biking! Let me know how you get on...
+TheMissendenFlyer I'll let you know for sure. I've even persuaded my Wife to do the cbt too. I might be needing to buy two bikes in the not too distant future!
Now that would be good!
Definitely one of my dream rides, thanks for taking us along!
You're very welcome, thanks for coming along!
A superb tourist add for Scotland, brought back memories of doing that route two years ago , and making me want to go back . Your films just keep getting better and better . Keep up the great work loving everything you put out .
Thank you very much - very nice of you to say so...lots more to come!
That was a Great Video, I can understand why you had that Big Grin on your Face.
Looking forward to the next Video,
I agree with you, I haven't done camping now for years.
...yes I've never been a camping fan, may be one day I'll try again....or maybe not....
+Triumph Rascal Yea it was a great trip - the North West just gets better and better...
Its strange seeing videos of roads me and my mates consider our short fun runs
Just stopping by to say I've been watching this series at least once a year since you posted it. Wow, what a lovely comment Ian - thank you and I'm glad I was able to help!
@@TheMissendenFlyer the least I could do :) Now I just have to convince the Mrs. that there’s room in the garage for a GS ;)

lan mcmullen Neither does the widow these days, but saying that, she is getting rather friendly with the young man on the other side of the loch.
LOLOLOL! Just wet my pants!
BritishBoy1971 how much does she want ?
Did exactly the same route last spring on my old R1150GSA and can honestly say it was the most breathtaking and epic ride that Ive ever done in the British Isles! Sadly I didnt have my Gopro at the time so thankyou so much for sharing such great footage of it and looking forward to part 2!
Yes I agree - best riding in Britain bar none! (so far....)
Us scots don't do tolls haha. They end up scrapping them ;)
I like it when that happens (shame they don't update the road signs to match!!) :0)
we don't bother with signs either :) tried the nc500 last 'summer'. but rain that would float Noah's arc halted our progress. great video, looking forward to the second part.
naw chance lol
MrJimbaloid
really!
Your comment is ill informed, check your facts before you start being a pillock

+Chris Dyson Thank you Chris, I agree. The views only get better too!
Nice work MF...a tour of Ireland has to be on the cards at some stage as well?!
100% James - would love to do the emerald isle, just a matter of time!
James Hearne The Ring of Kerry, in the south west of Ireland is a must route.

I concur...stunning part of the world. My Dad is from Mayo, we rode down the coast taking in the Ring of Kerry.
Done the route a few times from West Yorkshire and love it...Fantastic videos Pal...makes me need the fix to go again...Thanks for posting them.
Glad you enjoyed it and if it helped get you through this riding fallow period it's a bonus! Might watch these again myself!!
Loch Lomond my local roads, the suns been shining since Sunday and looking good for the next 7 days, another great video, hope it dried up for you, can't wait for the next part .
+Thomas Anderson Sod's law!! I was cold and wet pretty much the whole trip - should have waited a week!!

Truly stunning, I think I have to add that to my bucket list. Thank you.
I think all UK bikers should do that one at least once in their life Denis - it get's better too!
Hey TMF, what a cracking video - loved your commentary, the nicely edited footage and oh what views. Looking forward to part two Sir!

Wow now that sounds like my kind of trip - I'm planning something similar next year (to celebrate my 50th) - can't wait!
You will love it! I didn't do any video but posted a couple of pics from the trip (mostly of the bike of course!): sedawk.com/2017_Trip
Wow looks cracking - I must do Meteor Crater, I've flown a plane over it but never got to see it close up!
Seriously great video. Can't wait for part 2. These touring videos have inspired me to fix up my '04 SV650S and get it back on the road. It's been garaged for nearly 4 years now, so it's a bit rough at the moment and needs some fixing up, but still starts first time.
Give it a go - will be a bit of an adventure!
Thank you for the nice ride on the iron horse. Looking forward to part 2 and have my atlas to the ready...Sal : )
Glad you liked it Sal...
22.48... Well done for getting out there! Gorgeous
Thanks - it gets better!
I absolutely loved riding the highlands and the NC500. Looking forward to your other episodes.
Me too - stay tuned Andy!
Thanks!
Good luck with the camping!! ....you'll love it...
Thanks for the kind comments - lots more to come, all the best - TMF
Right on my doorstep but I'll never get used to it or take it for granted. Brilliant coverage. Some of the best vlogging on UA-cam. Keep it up.
Thank you David - appreciated....
I did it in reverse order in 2014 on a vtr100f......approx 119 miles to a tank.....fuel is few and far between up that part of the country. Beautiful part of the world. Nice vid :-)
Thanks Steve - much more to come soon! Stay tuned......
I subbed just to watch the next installments :-)
great country to see from NY state , US. Those huge valleys with the mountains in the distance are completely different than what we have here .
Enjoy your videos.
+CRAIG WEYNA Thank you Craig - glad it was if interest - TMF
Very much enjoy the video from your travels, looking forward to the next part.
+Gregory Krammes Thanks for watching - TMF
Fantastic video. Stunning scenery with great roads. I'm not at all Jealous, well maybe a little lol. Keep up the good work.
+Plymouth Janner Thank you :0)
I wish we'd had chance to go up there this week!
Cheers John...must go back and do Skye!
Following - or rather riding with you on your trip. Brilliant.
Thnaks for coming along - are you joining me on my current Western Isles tour too? ua-cam.com/video/MfOffZhF3Wg/v-deo.html
Excellent stuff, know those roads well being a Scot, look forward to watching the rest.
Thank you sir!
What a great trip, thanks for sharing it. I did the same trip a couple of years ago getting as far north as Durness, and I now want to do it again!
Yeah it is a great route for sure...
Great footage - such an amazing trip! Team MAPPED want to head back to the NC500 ASAP! Glen Coe is simply incredible! Great video!
Yeah I enjoyed your videos too, as you say, great trip....cheers - TMF
Proper brave heart scenery their TMF.......looking forward to the next chapter.
Och aye, it was that laddy!
If William Wallace comes charging over the next hill its good to know you can out run him on the GS :)
...you can take ma life, buy you'll never take ma freedom!
Very nice video and great commentary. Even though I've been on those roads you were riding it was still very enjoyable to watch. Part 2 here I come.
Thanks Kevin!
A group of us go to Scotland every year, it's fantastic for biking, the applecross pass is incredible,
Sure is - stay tuned for that one!
great video
we did this trip in 2011 by car. it must be awesome riding the loaded GS in Scotland
looking forward to seeing part ll
cheers Tom
Thanks Tom...stay tuned!
Great scenery there TMF, looking forward to part II, thanks for sharing your travels.
You're very welcome Marc - cheers....
Once again a great video. Done this trip a couple of times but usually do it over ten days with a couple of days off the bike in either Oban or Ullapool. Keep up the good work sir
Thank you John - will do...
Thanks :0)
Great Video! I was thinking of doing the NC500 this year, but had to be postponed until next year. After seeing this it has to be a must! Looking forward to the next videos, enjoy and stay safe.
You'll love it Garry, it gets better and better!
We holiday every year in scotland,my favourite place on the planet. Thanks for this, looking forward to seeing how you get on with the place.Applecross gave my wife her first grey hairs :)
Tell me about it! Scary biscuits....
As you were about to and have found out the A87 from Inveraray over to Glen Shiel and then on down to Dornoch is a peach of a road too.
Nice video and some nice still photos.
+Norrie Masson Thanks for watching:0)
Great Video TMF .... really enjoyed it.... looking forward to part 2
Great stuff - loads more to come...
This is my second time round viewing and probably enjoying it more. Thank you.👍
Wow - great to hear Eric!
Yes. Fabulous scenery, lovely weather! Typical Scottish conditions - Just perfect for a bit of adventure motorbiking. You should try a bit of wild camping too sometime soon. I'd love to see that.
...errr, nah I think not....
Lucky you. I'm heading up there myself next weekend. Can't wait.
Enjoy!
Glad you got the weather for it Johnno - it's continued ever since....
This footage is gold! Awesome awesome video!
+Bradford James Bailey Thanks :0)
Youre welcome! Cant wait for part 2!
Another fantastic video, looking forward to the next part. Thanks
Cheers Ian..appreciated - TMF
Thank you sir, relived my tour up that way 4 years ago, going anti clockwise though.
So want to go back and see more of my home country, Glencoe is such haunting place when you learn about the massacre all those years ago.
You are right about it being a fairly short ride in miles but takes forever to go anywhere, have to stop a lot and look at the views and take photos.
Look forward to the next episode, Glencoe to Fort William is awesome ride, hope you stopped at Fort George, great piece of history there.
👍👍👍👍👍
Errr, nope...sorry!
Amazing, thanks for taking us along with you on this epic ride.
You're very welcome....it only gets better!
Holy cow! That was some ride!!!
Excellent Mr Flyer, done the same area up to Fort William & Malliaig, last year Going to return later this year have three nights booked at Portsonachan near Dalmally, then head for the NC500 which I'am looking forward to on my 1200GS
You'll love it Vince - amazing riding up there....enjoy!
I wasn't aware there was a right and wrong way???
Just found this video series. I need to watch all of them. My ancestors are from Scotland. Need to travel there soon.
Settle back and enjoy David!
If you think Glen Coe is beautiful you're going to love the Torridon mountains before Gairloch. After Ullapool it gets even more spectacular. Great video mate. Stay safe.
Yes I agree - it just got better and better - stay tuned for those parts soon!
Brilliant great scenery and an enthusiastic tour guide, well done TMF I may do this route later in the year.
Thank you Dave...and do do it, you'll love it...
Good Evening TMF Great scenery how lucky we are ,Another good video Take Care and Thank you.
Agreed - cheers - TMF
Cheers Russell - good stuff!
Thank you so much, I would have loved a trip like that now at 70 it's not going to happen. Those hills are lovely.
Thanks for watching - glad you liked the trip!
Nice video. I was up there last weekend with the BMWClub weekend. First time riding up through Glencoe to Oban. Doing nc500 in summer, looking forward to your next vid.
Nice one - you'll love it!
I love it around western Scotland. You should try up arrocar and over to Inveraray and west loch tarbert. Some great roads. Looking forward to the next episode. Col
Are you tuning in to my latest Western isles tour? ua-cam.com/video/MfOffZhF3Wg/v-deo.html
Stunning views! The GS was built for those roads.
Agreed - it gets better too!
Excellent, did loch Lomond and Glencoe last september amazing places a long way from Cornwall but worth the trip, look forward to part 2
Thanks for sharing
Thank you g0arl - stay tuned for lots more over the coming days!
Nothing worse than a cool breeze around the Trossachs! Great vids btw!
Agreed!
Great vid! Western Isles are very beautiful too, well worth a tour.
Yep - it's on my bucket list!
Great video, very much enjoyed you taking on this adventure journey. Reviews, maintenance and kit are all interesting but tours like this reminds us of what motorcycle riding is all about :-)
Thanks Sharp Bends - yes indeed, this is what it's all about...
Got to be done Peter! Good to hear from you as always....
Scotland could well be the most beautiful country in Europe. Been there on the bike in 2015. But from a riding point of view, I didn't find it very challenging (apart from the cold and the rain), so will go there again this summer...in the cabriolet, just enjoying the view :)
Great video again!
Agreed - thanks for watching and for stopping by - TMF
now that looks like a riders adventure..something i would enjoy..and i know you will ..ride safe
+CruiZn Joe Thank you Joe...
Inspirational. You're doing a great job. So funny about speaking in a Scots accent, I think we all do it!
Aye laddy, it canna be helped!
You have done a fantastic job lifting viewers to these figures well done
Thank you...
Great video TMF, glad you enjoyed the local roads - I live 5 miles from Erskine and ride my GS along the bonnie banks and north on a regular basis. As you say, the kind of roads the GS was made for! Looking forward to part 2.
+david hippo You're a lucky manDavid! Cheers - TMF
I think you'll find that Lough Neagh in Northern Ireland is the largest land locked body of water in the UK. Enjoying the trip!
Fair enough....
Oh yes, I've been looking forward to this. Told you it was worth the trip, beautiful eh? , not as warm NZ but the scenery is just as epic. Makes me wan't to jump on the bike and head back up there right now!
100% agree....
Awesome - love these travel adventure vlogs. Thanks for putting in the work to share it with the world! It is appreciated.
You are always super welcome Scott...
You are a lucky man! Thanks for watching....TMF
we had a week in fort William a fortnight ago, beautiful motorcycling roads all round up there, quite enjoyed driving them too
Yes it is gorgeous - I shall be back up there again in a few weeks with the CRF - can't wait.....
Awesome video TMF, as a scot I only experienced the NC500 for the first time last year and was amazed at the scenery in my own country, so much so I'm doing it with wife on the back this time in August! I'm sure you will be back as well! Cheers
I'll definitely be back, maybe later this Summer, it was splendid!
Long time lurker, first time commenter ... excellent video, sir! Looking forward to the rest!
Cheers Dave, and welcome along!
Good video mate of my back yard , bet your not used to all this space down south , north west Scotland the views and roads were made for bikers, being former biker myself never driving on such great roads as in my homeland. All the best to you mate.😃👍🏴
Yes fabulous riding up there!
