Well his whole character was centres around nihilism. When he figured out what heart is, that is total contradiction against his whole being. I think, that's what make not being able to survive. Like all espada has their own aspect of death.
I wanna know if Stark's swords can do the same thing if he throws them. They look the same, only difference being that they're swords instead of a javelin
