    Tempering the chocolate is recommended for a more glossy and less melting result.
    Or use chocolate that doesn't require tempering.
    * If the chocolate is hardened too hard, the work is difficult.
    * The time to harden chocolate into squares can vary depending on the surrounding environment.
    * The shape and thickness of the results may vary depending on the strength of the shaving and the firmness of the chocolate.
    * You can see the difference if you try it yourself.
    *The results are thin and fragile, so handle it as carefully as possible.
    * Make sure to refrigerate the results.

    *I skipped the chocolate tempering process in this video.
    Be sure to temper chocolate to get good gloss and hard results.
    *If you are not familiar with tempering, I recommend candy melt products.

    But i liked the way you used 4 kitchenn tools and showed ur viewers the difference in shape & sizes with each one of those tools. Makes our job easy to decide which tool to use. Otherwise we would hv wasted time in experimenting ❤❤

      If this is stored well without breaking the shape in the refrigerator, I think it is the same as the storage period of chocolate.

    I used the Ghirardelli melting wafers. They melted thoroughly, but never turned into the liquid like state shown in the video. I could not pour the chocolate into the plastic container. Rather, I had to scoop it in. What kind of chocolate did you use?

      White chocolate can be made in the same way.
      3:40 It's in the video, but if it's too hard, it doesn't shape well. It's not hard to make if you're careful about this.

      I melted it to make a chocolate bar and made it into a square.If you have a chocolate bar, you can use it right away.

      First of all, please understand that I am not an expert.
      In my case, I like to melt using a double boiler.
      I sometimes use the microwave, but if I don't adjust the time, it can burn.
      If melted in a pot with direct fire, the temperature is too high, so the chocolate can burn without melting.
      When melting chocolate, never let water enter the chocolate.
      Check your chocolate if it doesn't melt in many ways.
      Did you use a chocolate chip for cookies?
      Chocolate chips are made so that they don't melt well even in the oven.
      Dark chocolate or compound chocolate with high cacao content is recommended.

      Chocolate chips don't melt well, so it's not easy to make chocolate bars with them. Even if it takes a long time, if it is made with a chocolate bar, there will be no problem with shaving.

    You could hv directly grate it from the original Bar. Why did you have to melt it to shape it back as a Bar all over again ?

      The reason why I didn't use a chocolate bar.
      1. Chocolate bar is thin. If I make a bar myself, I can make it as thick as I want.
      2. Where I live, chocolate bars don't have merit in terms of price and don't have the kind I want.Round chips are sold in a greater variety.
      3. When I have to melt chocolate for another recipe, I have to chop the chocolate bar into small pieces. I do not want that work.
      It is best to use a method that is convenient for each person. You can also use a chocolate bar if it's convenient to use.

      Normal dark chocolate 50-90%
      They didn’t tempered it hence why it was so soft to peel. It would be a lot flakier if you tempered the chocolate.
      However because they didn’t temper the chocolate it won’t last at room temperature 😅😅 (if you put it on side of cream cakes or top it should be fine though as cream is cold) 😊

    The glass bowl should not touch the water. Water and the glass bowl should be at least an inch apart. Otherwise i liked your video. Its very helpful.

      Because I don't use chocolate bar often, I used chocolate chip that I always have.
      I don't need to buy a chocolate bar because I can make a chocolate bar myself.
      If you have a chocolate bar, use it.
