😊 I have a ZX12R 2002 all blue just like that with factory blue wheels. I too put the yoshimura exhaust on years ago and love it.What you should consider, is the quick. I shifter . I put that on mine and it is awesome! I won't get rid of mine either. I bought mine brand new back in 2003 and will it keep it forever. Thanks for representing the brand!
So glad of your comment since you are a first owner. I bought my blue Zx12 from the original Owner and I always dream having that bike. I am glad that you know what you hold. Thank you for your comment!
@@AMAAD_DURRANI Such a great bike. More confortable than a liter bike. Can be used as Sport Touring yet so underrated. This is a collector engineered piece. Anyone reading this! Go bike one as fast as you can as long is in good condition. Thank you for your comment my brother. Enjoy your new ride!
@@motorcyclebrothers in our part of the world R1 is considered as a national bike and everyone loves it,, one of my friend who owns a R1 2014 model he just took a ride on my zx12r and he said yes its fast its really really fast haven't felt this much of raw power before
Nice. We have a few R1's @Motorcycle brothers. Yes, the R1 is a wolrdwide legend and I can ride few miles on it but If I have to choose between both bikes on a longer ride, i will go without any doubts on the ZX12R so I can walk after 😂
Love the video and the commentary those are both absolutely beautiful machines but there’s something special about that ZX12R I have one myself I may buy a brand new bike someday but I will never sell my ZX12R it’s just a special bike always will be
You are 100% right. I particularly like the older bikes more than newer bikes but the ZX-12R is one of the greatest sport bikes ever made. Today in my opinion does not have the place in history that deserves. The ZX-14 was not a real replacement!. Keep you ZX-12 because will go up in value in the future. Thank you for watching
Congrats on that beauty! Especially in that colour which is the one I first saw on the Motorcycle Magazines of the time. ! p.d. Regarding Full Synth oils and "older bikes", my personal experience is just the opposite. My zx6-r J series (2007 US Market ZZR600) didn't liked it at all (Clonky Gearbox and Slipping Clutch). I was about to replace the clutch once, it was slipping at high load/high RPMs, but everything went back to normal just by returning to Semi-Synth oil (MOTUL 5100 10W50 or CASTROL equivalent are the ones "She" likes the most IMO, 3.000 - 5.000 KM between changes is my practice) Cheers.
Thank you for your comment and sharing your experience with the oil type. I do remember the bike you mentioned which heritage the model style of the last ZX9 made in 2003. Great bike combining sport and also confortable enough to do longer rides compare to all other sports bikes in 2007. Cheers
Servicing a ZX12R can be a PITA 😖 I have an A2 ZX12R with 4800 miles only. It’s completely standard except..I have also fitted a full Ti Akrapovic exhaust, which sounds so good! I also have the oem exhaust safely stashed away 😁💚👍🏼
@@motorcyclebrothers I meant to comment on that.. Mine has a gap around 15-16mm between the exhaust and indicator.. So it’s fairly close, but doesn’t touch, interfere or cause any issues.
@@woooster17 Great to know that Akrapovic is probably a better option if anyone out there is looking to change the exhaust on the ZX-12R since Yoshimura will require a fender eliminator in order to not touch the signal lights. Thanks again for this contribution that will benefit ZX-12R owners.
Hi, i suggest to You change Your brake pump for RCS19 Brombo and change calipers for NISSIN from zx6 / zx14 - massive improvement of braking - as Yamaha R1 - 2 fingers stoppie will be possibile. cheers from Poland. i have exact this motorcycle but painted black + akrapovic exhaust

Today i bought the Zx12R as my first 600cc+ heavy bike and man its just a plane on a road i don't know why its so underrated
