I wouldn't say Alien is the most hated character tbh. That would go to D'Vorah or Kotal Kahn respectively
well then again a lot of people dislike scorpion. My least favorite to go against would be sub-zero lol.

There’s small gaps where you can combo off finisher screens. It’s how some characters can get brutalities even though the “finish him/her” pops up
Acid Alien definite caught a lot of flak, but I think pre-patch Tanya was still THE most hated character gameplay-wise. All you have to do is look up matches with her and you'd see why.

I loved loved loved loved LOVED playing as Alien he's automatically the best dlc character in any mk game because he's completely intact. No lame draw backs, awesome combos, beautiful speed and such a badass backstory. Only the most elite mkx players can actually stay in the ring with him. He was a godsend

Least two favorite in this game were tanya and alien. Both broke as all hell and ruining tournaments. Alien ruined evo against tekkenmaster, why alot of people hated the character

I have loved fighting games for about 18 years now and I never enjoyed Mortal Kombat until I played as Alien at a friend's place a couple weeks ago!
I'm gonna buy MKXL next payday and I will be maining Alien 👽 (I've also been enjoying Scorpion and Tanya!)

Every fighting game has it's own unique mechanics and there's a few things from Mortal Kombat that have been challenging to learn/unlearn from other games 😅 I keep trying to back up to block (Marvel v Capcom) double tapping the analog stick down to sidestep (Tekken) and hitting the triangle to jump (Smash Bros) 😵
I am absolutely terrible at this game as of now but I'm determined to git gud 💪🏼

aliens tail didnt have a hurtbox , eventually nrs patched it to have one, that was a big factor and add in the acid stacking was insane before that got patched too.
but really by the the time these elements were fixed the game was already dead.
