I was the Possessed Kenshi you fought. I want to say that it was fun to fight you and your Ferra/Torr, and I apologize for my terrible internet that decided to go a little crazy when fighting you. It was embarrassing, the fact that my once-in-a-lifetime moment with Super was laggy. I couldn’t sleep because I was thinking about that, but it was a fun match, and I hope to cross paths with you again with a more stable connection😃

Ngl, I absolutely love Ferra/Torr, I spent a good portion of my MKX time using this character and loved every bit of it. Finding the times to throw moves and so forth really made them feel like a walking(better phrase would be running, with how quick it can seem sometimes) tank

You can still do those, it’s just tougher because the combo has to be literally flawless with no interruption

Pffft! You want to talk about rusty? The last MK game I purchased was 4! The last MK I ever played was Trilogy! It’s been like 20 years since I played. My husband just bought me X and XL a couple of weeks ago. I am extremely rusty, but slowly getting it back. My main has been Scorpion since I was a little kid. Felt nice picking up the controller again. 🙂
I really hope they bring back ferra/torr in mk12. Their playstyle is unique and they need more diverse characters like this.
Or even a new duo since torr gets old and dies and ferra turns into what torr was and gets a new rider

Sadly they won’t torr died and ferra became a brute like him and have her own kid riding her back.

As someone that doesn’t play this game, I have a question. When the kid stabs the hulk, does that give a damage boost or is it a baiting move?
I haven’t played MK since the arcade times since the pacing is not just for me, but I do enjoy watching it.
It opens a window for certain combos plus it gives some meter at the expense of a little health. that's why the little one (Ferra) says "PAIN AND GAIN" when stabbing the big guy (Torr)

If I am correct, they act much like butterflies, with a sort of metamorphosis stage development.
They have a symbiotic type of relationship. It's all about bonding. One doesn't become the other, one is female and the other is male. She bonds with him like a rider does a mount.
@@MentalConstructFear In the lore it says that Torr died of old age and Ferra grew up and started "maturing" into a hulking buff "monster" like Torr, so she might have to bond with a Rider as Torr did with her.

Is MKX better than 11? Been seeing a lot of people play this one lately
Combat is faster in it- hence why everyone prefers it over 11, but also because 11 appeals to newer players that haven’t picked a MK up before. Both are good in their own right, but this one is just the go to for veteran players.

Every character only has a few true combos, but once you get them going you can extend them with other moves.

If a person likes it, then everything is fine. The game is designed for entertainment. Surely there is a person who hates when someone uses long combos.

@@laurenzdike6108 I have met people a couple of times who fight well and have excellent reactions. But they don't do combos, so they can lose to a weaker opponent. I witnessed a fight when the enemy demanded to fight him without using a combo that took 50% of lives.
I was gonna say the same thing, I think Super was just getting annoyed by the flying stomp which is understandable because it's just as bad as any projectile spam but to hear him saying what he said was cringy and it kinda looked bad on his part.
Same time I get were super is coming from lol sometimes the salt takes over on top of that goro is pretty cheap in this game
That's the thing. The stomp is a part of Goro's toolkit. There's no rule that limits how often you can use it. For many casual players, if using a move tends to net free damage against opponents who don't know how to handle it, why wouldn't they keep using it? Might as well accuse O. Sagat players of "playing like a bitch" because they're going to spam Tiger Shots. You don't have to like it. Just learn how to overcome it and move on. Moreover, Super attempts to justify teabagging the Goro player because he "felt" his opponent was the sort who would teabag him (though he never did).
