@@NXIV_____1 This dude knows and recognizes the different moves from just about every character and also knows the frame counts and when he's plus. He reads other players' habits and learns and adapts. He plays at a professional level. You don't have to have played in a tournament to be considered a professional. He also recognizes good moves from other players and gives props when he's impressed. That's what I meant.

The developers put zoning but I doubt they put it with the intentions for it to be spammed like crazy. Abusing it without actually fighting just shows how shit you are, and we spit on people like that.👍

It's crazy how they make these characters that take no knowledge of the game to pose a serious threat to someone infinitely better than them. And then the audacity to call this spam of overpowered abilities "zoning" just blows my mind.
Yeah, it's just terrible character design. There's a correct way to make zoning characters and that isn't it.

But some nerd will post ''you can beat it easily'' because flawless blocking and perfect jumps are technically possible. And this same nerd loses a bunch of matches because of 'easily beatable' moves. So strange how that works.
Spamming is just annoying as fuck- Even putting aside skill or fair fighting, it's just not fun to deal with in excess. Projectile heavy is one thing, but refusing to get into close range at all, throwing out projectiles that are literally just 'do an input and hope the enemy messes up' there's no timing or skill involved at all, that's why people hate projectiles as the opponent can't do anything but play defense against it (save for a handful of characters with teleport moves, or air dashes, shit like that)
Most players will also not know how to deal with it- I think more than half of MK players don't look up guides, or check frame data, or play enough to understand the level at a deep level. Is it ok for all these guys to suffer against spam, driving away a significant part of the playerbase?

Before I actually got into fighting games, I never was the type of person to spam special moves. Sure, I mashed the same string more times that I can count, but that’s because I was brain dead and didn’t know any better. Spamming the same move isn’t and never will be fun.
Spamming melee strings is understandable if you're just a new, ignorant player trying to learn the game. What makes spamming the most scummy is when you use projectiles all game to try and win through the least amount of interaction possible. Running away and spamming projectiles turns a match into a snail-speed chase where the spammer can get by through minimal focus and effort (random projectiles and backing away).

@simcul Partly depends on the character you're playing. Can't match a projectile spammer with some characters.

I gotta be honest. This is how 80% of all the Cetrion players I've come across online play that character. So I just approach it like a pattern recognition exercise. But some characters just can't get through that madness. Developers made her too cheap.
