@@chanoffl I am not going to criticize the late great Sushma Swaraj, she was good, but not at the level of Jaishankar. He is *phenomenally* good at his job.
Also, my opinion: (1) Most Indians (over 90%) have instinctive (at a gut level) good feelings towards Russia, because of *trust* , and (2) Most non-Muslim Indians have the same level of good feelings towards Israel, for the same reason.

this is great my age is 62, when i was very young i need to walk long distance to shool around 4 km , on the middle of the way there is Russian consulate where they display pictures of Russia, i love to see, one day i told my dad what is that , then he took me to inside , my father is deaf and dumb but he knows English, he talk to the top people and told that son interested why u display pictures, they explained me in good way and shown me the Russian book library and chess, i very much haply to read books, and also very good in chess, now im 62 having good engineering , i studied all math's and engineering metallurgy books of Russian author's , so this is great by Russians, i strongly feel that Russians are once Bharat desh people that is sanadhana. because one who loves to give study books and games or sports free of cost , this is what sanadhana (truth dharma) wants, great Russians . good people .

I am from India and I also follow geopolitics, national security and foreign policy daily.India and Russia already have very close relations. Russia supported us when half the world was against India. Today, when Russia is facing problems in the war, India is fully supporting us by providing cheap crude oil.
I wish India, Russia & China to form an alternative alliance so that the western bullying is stopped. These 3 countries can grow better together & also help other poor countries unlike US / western countries who are very selfish. Already India & Russia have a long & wonderful relationship. China needs to understand India better and start being friendly with India. Hope it happens sooner than later.
