most if not all manufacturers will not alow you to straighten cast aluminium sectiond of the frame , i get it that you replace the tubes from left to right , but the cast frame parts will be a no go they have been heat treated to be as strong as they can be , heating and pulling it straight will undo that !!!
Most of those cast pieces are either riveted or bolted to other steel or carbon fiber such as we saw with the mclaren. For people saying it’s dangerous to weld, those square tubes are welded and riveted to the cast pieces. If anything, he could just weld plates to them or rivet plates to them and rebuild via new square tubes. But first, I would cut every square tube off the rail and pull down. No reason to have other pieces holding it.

Samcrac: Serious question! Why didn't you contact some eastern European UA-camrs to fix that Ferrari for you? They have the knowledge and the parts. And will cost half the price including shipping to Bremerhaven that will save on shipping ($1100) . Shops in eastern Europe have welders that 25-30 years ago welded Mig jets made of scandium, aluminum and titanium. Those boys in tennessee are butchers, compared to shops like ECPS Group or ABRcar, that are globally known.
Not wanting to throw a dampner on this but aluminium is tricky to work with and if it has been deformed then no amount of straightening will put it exactly like it was. So if it was me I'd bite the bullet and get factory parts and replace as factory spec. Costly but for peace of mind .
I have total confidence in you Ben. You know what you're doing and you do it well. I have to say I think we all love your videos. Can't wait to see this bad boy finished. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

This is really fascinating stuff, and I wish you guys all the best with this repair. Yeah, there’s a lot that’s broken on this Ferrari, but there’s a lot more that ISN’T broken, and in my opinion that makes this work worth it.
Love the work mate first time viewer and subbed. Also tip when working with Ali, when using a cutting wheel try getting a block of wax to cut into before cutting the aluminium and that extends the life of the cutting wheel as well as preventing it from clogging up. As a boilermaker welder working with pressurized aluminium fuel tankers all day everyday day this tip increases wheel life. Hope this helps peace out untill your next vid ✌️😁🇦🇺
Loving the Ferrari content. It's really interesting to see how they put these cars together. I also find it interesting to see how to deal with aluminum. I would try using mapp gas to get some more heat on it. This is one of my favorite car channels because you focus on actually repairing cars and not just trying to look cool.
I actually bought one when you mentioned it last time ! I drive a tow truck and it works every time ! I love the jump starter only bad thing one of the red and black plastic cover on the handles came off on the first use but over all amazing product

Ben you are amazing in your abilities to fabricate but I think I would tell cracc that he needs to get a new subframe! @@johnphamlore8073 At the very least they need to pull it back close to OE so they can have a template to work with to fab new parts. As I know from the cycling community, welding aluminum does not work; it cracks at different spots once it is welded. That is because of the heat treatment of the material. Welding the aluminum breaks the heat treatment, and material characteristics are changed. Cars may have different types of aluminum, but aluminum bicycle frames cannot be welded.
