That's a new one, collided with birds yet no smoke from engines. It does very strangely have shrapnel marks on its tail...maybe it was Russian Air Defense Missiles....
Birds cant fly at 33k feet so were not buying that Why aren't we hearing from the victims themselves??? We need to hear from the victims that survived the crash
They said they heard an explosion in Grozny at the time of the landing. The plane couldn’t land three times before deciding to go back to Baku. Not sure why they couldn’t land in nearby Dagestan or other Caucasus countries. Something happened mid air and the plane requested another emergency landing in Aktau, Kazakhstan, which was granted. Unfortunately, the plane didn’t make it to the airport but still pilots managed to avoid crushing into nearby homes. Most surviving passengers have been hospitalised and are in difficult conditions but a few were nearly unscathed and managed to walk on their own from the scene. Those passengers have said about the explosion. You can also find online footage from the passengers onboard. And up-close footage of the plane remains. Not sure why they haven’t showed it here.
Also mutant bats. Didn’t you know that apparently American labs in Ukraine created mutant evil bats who were programmed to only bite Russians and not Ukrainians? 😂 these bats apparently were a form of biological weapons and caused Covid. That was the official story told by the Russian government since the beginning of the war, I kid you not. They have those mutant animals these days
There is something that the official version is not telling us here. The plane was supposed to go from Baku to Grozny, 300 miles to the northwest of Baku. If it suffered a bird strike shortly after take off (bird strikes happen at low altitudes) how did it end up at Aktau, almost 240 miles north-northeast and across the Caspian Sea from Baku? If you suffer a bird strike you land at the nearest airport. You don't fly almost 250 miles across the sea.
Found the simpleton. Obviously there are inconsistencies with a lot of details between the media from Russia and Azerbaijani, because this literally just happened. No one knows why it crashed. The media doesn’t know anything, nor does anyone. It’s not a conspiracy, it’s just common sense. There are millions of flights every month, some of them face difficulties. Not everything is a conspiracy.
I heard it may not have been able to make an emergency landing at a Russian airport because the airport was closed after being struck by Ukraine drones No proof of that. Just something another news channel surmised
You are alive, people lost love ones and some their lives..I think any of the superficial problems you have are my-noot compared to people dying in a plane crash on Christmas morning. Go look for attention somewhere else.
I extend my deepest condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Azerbaijan following the tragic crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane in Aktau, western Kazakhstan. My thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this devastating loss. May they find strength, comfort, and solace during this difficult time.
No one of importance. There were drone strikes on Russia earlier that day. Most likely Russian automatic defence system misidentified a passenger plane as the drone. Unfortunately, it seems to be a common issue with those systems. This was a terrible fatality but Russia will never admit it.
It just goes to show you: the RUSSIANS have the BEST Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAM) in the WORLD: It took TWO American SM-2 missiles to shoot-down just one American F/A-18 (the second American SAM missed another American F/A-18). And as far as we know, the Russians used just ONE missile to bring down a civilian Embraer E-190. Putin must be very proud.
@ Have you ever seen the equipment used in these countries? The training for pilots is laughable by western standards. No one is talking about houses! This is about the aircraft industry, the training and experience of the pilots and those on the ground. BTW why are the homes in these countries so much cheaper, smaller and built without the benefit of modern building standards? In America you can buy a more expensive home built from stone or something else if you live in a certain climate. Not one of these countries has a large scale building industry that is producing 3000 sq foot houses by the millions. A stone house that is 800 sq feet containing none of the modern amenities found in the west is hardly superior. They use stone because that’s what is available not because it’s superior. No one in the mild climate of the south is going to choose a tiny stone home over a brick and wood structure that is 4000 sq feet with a pool and everything else you kind in a nice community.
Because if they had tried to land in russia, they would have destroyed all evidence that it had been shot down. And all the survivors would probably have "died upon impact" after three days of interrogation.
It crashed in Kazakhstan. For sure, there are eyewitnesses and surviving passengers are hospitalised in a Kazakhstan. something happened at the landing attempt in Grozny and it couldn’t land there. Russian authorities claim bad weather but there were confirmed drone strikes on Grozny that day and Russia uses now an automatic defence system, so…Russia claims that the plane was denied entry to Grozny altogether but surviving passengers say the plane attempted to land multiple times but couldn’t. after reporting possible bird collision early on, before even reaching Kazakhstan, on the other side of the Caspian Sea, the pilots intended to return back to Baku which is closer than Aktau, Kazakhstan. That’s per leaked conversation with the air traffic controller. Something happened mid air, probably loss of the control of the aircraft, so they requested another emergency landing, this time in Kazakhstan which was granted to them. Most likely, they couldn’t stir the plane back to Baku and it was drifting off to the East, to Kazakhstan. Pilots bravely fought for 108 minutes and due to their efforts 35 people have survived despite plane burning! It’s not clear why the plane didn’t do an emergency landing in Dagestan, another Russian territory, close to Grozny. Russia has not commented on it but most likely the airport in Dagestan was closed due to drone strikes earlier that day. Closing airports bc of the drone strikes seems to be a routine practice for Russia these days. If the plane didn’t have to spend those 108 minutes trying to cross the Caspian Sea, maybe the outcome would have been different and the plane didn’t burn. Who knows.
Excuse me??? This was an Azerbaijan plane flying to Russia which had to make an emergency landing in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan provided fast response and multiple locals volunteered to help and donate blood for the victims. Kazakhstan has no fault in this. Have you even watched the video or read its title or did you proceed to comment immediately, brain rot?
The pilots did everything they could and beyond and thanks to their efforts half of the plane survived. They had to fight with a broken plane for 108 minutes to fly it over the Caspian Sea and not crush in into the water. This channel gave almost no information or context. There are other even western media which gave more detailed reported with more footage from passengers and aviation experts commenting on it.
Looking closer at the wreck it appears we're looking at two different aircraft. One with a blue door and one with a white door. Something doesn't look right.
Have some compassion for the people. When 9/11 happened we also watched and cried for your people, even though it has nothing to do with us. Also, it’s an amazing story bc half of the plane survived despite plane literally burning at the time of the landing. I am not sure why this reporter couldn’t explain things better. Even the footage they chose wasn’t the best. Euronews and some European media have already reported that the plane potentially was stricken by the Russian automatic defence system, mistaking it for a drown, and there is a lot evidence for it, including the words of surviving passengers who reported experiencing an explosion at the time of landing in Grozny. If Russia stroke another plane, that has something to do with you as the country. And Russia should be held responsible for destroying yet another civilian plane from yet another country. Also, the plane model is one of the safest on the market and relatively new . What happens the next time you’d have to fly and it will be this model? Wouldn’t you want to know as why it crushed in the past, huh? This is why airline crushes are reported globally. By your logic, Boeing crushes should have been reported only in America bc it is not related to people in the other countries. What would happen if people didn’t know about Boeing crushes in other countries? They would continue flying that model. So maybe despite your frustrations with your government and mainstream media, try to put your emotions aside and actually think logically, analysing things from different angles. Although it’s a hard task for many, I agree. Don’t exert yourself with intellectual activity beyond your level but maybe refrain from commenting without thinking the next time unless your intention is to reaffirm every single stereotype about Americans
Hey drop your hatred and get some facts. Also could be hydraulic damage that was caused by our taxpayer dollars since the aircraft diverted due to Ukrainian fire into Russia. But hey, orcs and shovels and such, why not bad maintenance?
0:41 dude… look at all of the holes in the tail. This was SHOT DOWN that is shrapnel from an explosive. This was NOT a bird strike
Wreckage footage at the scene shows shrapnel damage and the Russians say “birdsrtrike”…….another MH17. How tragic.
0:41 The "birds" pecked a bunch of holes in the tail section.
So sad and on Christmas Day or Christmas Eve? May the fallen rest in peace.
Always makes you feel a little bit better when you hear there is survivors 🙏
Cap that plan was shot down . Twitter had already showed the evidence
I thought it was suspect when I heard it???😑
You know they have to spin it.....
That's a new one, collided with birds yet no smoke from engines. It does very strangely have shrapnel marks on its tail...maybe it was Russian Air Defense Missiles....
The pilots fought to the end to save those poor souls , they are truly brave pilots

No birds strike, look at the horizontal and vertical stabilator and you can easily figure out the cause
Bird strike?! No, No, No, that was shot down!
That plane was shot down.
What a miracle there are survivors!!!!!!! ❤❤❤ God was with them! Praying for the families of those who didn’t make it.
Didn’t know the code word for Russian air defense was bird strikes.

Nothing ever just happens anymore. Its all a conspiracy

Could another bird strike happened at lower altitude on approach to landing?
Ill be more thankful for what ever i have. And include them to my prayers beside my uncle whompassed away on the 24 of december. They will be missed
The plane was presumably shot down by a Russian missile, but the exact details of the incident have not yet been established...

Not shown the video of the plane crash?
🙌🏾There are survivors!
As an Azerbaijani:caused:(bird strike)🇦🇿😔🥀..
Our thoughts and prayers with victims and families and Azerbaijani people…
What a terrible thing to happen during the holidays condolences to families of the victims. to the survivors I wish them a speedy recovery
@0:00 I can see the gleam in her eye .
My condolences to the families of the Russian, Kazakh and Kyrgyz citizens 🙏🏼
Hats off to the pilots 😢😢😢
I hope NBC News goes out of business. NBC makes money from ad's from this story.
What an absolute shame. Not sure I’m believing the bird story after Russia show down MH370
Birds dang birds
Were the ukrainans that shot that plane
@ could have been either side. It is during wartime.
😂😂😂😂 whaaaaaat? You mean the Russians were active over the Indian Ocean? Not sure you're a credible person either 😂😂😂
It was MH17, not MH370
rest in peace to the victims 🙏
Are birds a common threat to aircraft?
more likely than not it was drones
Yes, but this was a Ukrainian one. Found it after the aircraft had to divert due to western missiles being fired into Russia.
Who was on the plane 🤔🧐
Zelenskyy twin?
No one of importance. There were drone strikes on Russia earlier that day. Most likely Russian automatic defence system misidentified a passenger plane as the drone. Unfortunately, it seems to be a common issue with those systems. This was a terrible fatality but Russia will never admit it.

USS Gettysburg's crew transfered to Russia, now manning their air defence system?
Why would that plane be over or near Kazakhstan if flight was Baku to Grozny? According to the last known flight data it crashed in Russia.
Because if they had tried to land in russia, they would have destroyed all evidence that it had been shot down. And all the survivors would probably have "died upon impact" after three days of interrogation.

It definitely did not crash from "bird strike". It looks like it had hydraulic failure, likely due to lack of maintenance and parts.
