    I own 35 various electric guitars. I've been playing a collecting for 45 years. I bought the Strandberg boden plini about a month ago. What a back saver. Nice guitar. Very good quality, lots of tone. No, it's not a Charvel or an ESP, but a very versatile machine. Nice work Plini.

    Headless guitar: lightweight, super easy to travel with, ergonomic as all fuck so your back doesn’t get all fucked up. Super low action possible with tuners on body, dope.
    I like me a les Paul, sure, but headless guitars just make playing so much easier. My back certainly appreciates it.

      @@debussy1553 maybe EnduroNeck is not for you, but I had no trouble with it. I love the radius, the neck, the frets, the tuners, everything except the lack of large fret inlays. I cannot imagine somebody who can shred on a C neck not getting along with the EnduroNeck. If you are that worried you need to sit down with one in a shop. I found it surprisingly easy to adapt to. There was no real adaptation. That's how easy it was. I've never heard of anybody having difficulty with it that lasted more than a few minutes or an hour. It's too natural especially above the 12th fret. Good luck, maybe just test drive it for a while.

      They wont work on any kind of stand that hangs the guitar by the head stock (obviously). I have mine in stands by “on stage.” The base swivels so it is on a slight angle and the guitar is straight up.

      Oilid its good, but not super duper good for the price.
      You basically spend 2k just for the endurneck and the ergonomic/ultra light body which is amazing, dont get me wrong, but, it doesnt improve your playstyle like a mile away, just a tad bit. I can say i shred even slightly less sloppier than normal neck guitars.
      Since i’m into headless, might consider a kiesel since u can custom shop it. What i’m hoping for in a strandberg are xtra jumbo frets, thinner neck profile and neck through. Hopefully for namm 2019.

      I think they are great... I played mainly PRS USA models... I bought my first strandberg about 1.5 years ago because I was looking for something light and small to make traveling easier. I have sense bought a second strandberg and sold all but one of my PRS. Fit and finish are great. Super light, great sustain. You can play any style music on them (I play mostly classic rock). Not sure why they really push towards the nu wave/djent folks... probably due to the traditionalists being too obsessed with looks and not the usability... you wont regret buying one!

    I never like headless guitars . Love the shape. Just the head makes them look like a kid guitar. They should place a rotating head with the logo in carbon fiber just for the looks and to hold into a wall. And 1 cm bigger in the body.

    • @robadobflob3405
      @robadobflob3405 4 роки тому

      the whole point of a headless guitar is to make it a better instrument by keeping the guitar in tune. It does this by basically having a locking nut, but with a zero fret instead of an actual slotted nut.
