I took the leap and got one because the aesthetics were very unique, and I like a lot of the artists that are endorsed. Long story short, truly and incredible guitar. The ergonomics are unreal, lightweight, huge tone, great looks. The EndurNeck just works. I have zero complaints. I don't think I'll go back to any other brand.

Most people start acting defensive when they feel intimidated. Ever had someone say "I'm not scared of you"? Well, that was the result of someone feeling intimidated lol. "I'm not scared of you" actually means they're quite scared. Psych. 101. It's a defense mechanism.

    I have a fender deluxe strat, it’s a brilliant guitar and my first electric. It had some issues due to a shitty repair job for the truss rod and the truss can’t be adjusted anymore. Needed a new main guitar and went to the store to try out the new fender ultras. Was super underwhelmed and disappointed being that the guitars were a whole $1000 dollars more expensive than what I payed for mine way back and mine still sounded better.
    Was about to leave the store and was suggested to try these and ended up falling in love with fusion and Salen. I made the leap of faith and bought the fusion and it is on its way. This was so comfortable, light brilliantly woody and sparkly sounding, and with the new mf pickups and the hsx circuit it was a no brainier for me. Can’t wait for mine to show up. Don’t let prejudice compel you from making a good decision, Ola has thought everything out and imho I could barely tell a difference between the build standard of the Indonesian strandberg vs the American ultra. I liked the strandbergs much more actually, use your ears and how it feels and just go for it if it makes you play better and feel great.
    This was for all the guitarists wondering whether to go for this rather than a more industry standard brand. Just try it out with an open mind and trust your gut.

    It's too bad he is asking an extraordinary amount of money for an Indonesian made instrument. I'd rather buy a Japanese or USA made guitar for the price he is asking for these instruments. No thanks!

      I had to point out in my comment that it's really odd that he started building these because other brands were too expensive for him. Was very interested until I saw how ridiculously expensive they were. No thanks, Sweetwater.

      They are made in Asia, but I can honestly say that quality, fit/finish, hardware, etc are on par with my USA PRS guitars

      @@chadbouterse8617 Yes we are all aware that Indonesia is in Asia, however if you compare prices of other manufacturer's that build instruments in that country then you cannot justify pricing a guitar for more than $2k for a guitar built in that country. Japan yes, even MAYBE South Korea, not Indonesia.

      An Ernie Ball music Man in America is priced average at around $3,000 this same guitar in UK is $4,000 is just a matter of perspective in the other hand you don’t have to buy it if you don’t like it THE END

    im all about headless guitars but ive never understood the whole heaviness factor that the headless designers throw out there when talking about other guitars. if you think that a headstock adds to much weight then you my friend are weak.

      we will talk again once you left your bedroom and stand on a stage for weeks / months every night and having a guitar around your neck is your profession. I have seen guys complaining about the weight that you likely wouldn't dare to say this into their face. Also, even if someone is weak, than that's the way it is and he of course wants a lighter guitar. Who are you to call them out for that? Personally I never had issues with the weight of my instruments but I wouldn't have anything against a lighter one and it's a sure plus if it's well balanced.

    OVERPRICED?! Can somebody tell my why Strandberg is the ONLY company that sells made in China/Korea guitars for more than double the price than other companies that use the same factory?
    Seriously, the price for those instruments is normally the price where you get a made in Japan, US or even made in Europe Instrument. Before Strandberg nobody would have bought a Korea/China guitar for that money. That's ridiculous.

      I have two MIK Strandbergs and recently got myself a EBMM Majesty, honestly I was expecting the gap to be much much bigger. Country of production does not necessarily define quality in itself nowadays imo

    • @EvilDragon666
      @EvilDragon666 2 роки тому +1

      Because it's not the same factory as others (and Strandberg's factory is in Indonesia, not China or Korea - but that really doesn't matter in the end). Because you can get a really high quality instrument out of any country in the world - and you can also get a shit instrument for a shitton of money from USA (yes I'm talking about Gibson).
      Strandberg just pays more to have very rigorous QC that you don't get with el cheapo guitars coming out of Asia. That's all there's to it.
