After you give birth could you do a video what maybe you could have left or what you would have changed in your bag? I feel like that would be really interesting and helpful! :)
After delivery, would you mind posting a video of the items you actually used from your bag? Alot of women have their hospital bags with them, but I want to get an idea of what you ACTUALLY used. Thank you!
From experience, youll be in the white undies mostly as the nurses have to check the pads regularly after you deliver 😊 your robe is super cute..a little thin. Hospitals are FREEZING, just so you know 😘 One more thing...dont forget to soak it all in. The entire experience. It will go fast, live in the moment. Enjoy it doll!!! Praying for a fast delivery, speedy recovery and most importantly, HEALTHY Baby ❤️❤️❤️
Im a 2nd time mom.. you may want to consider a towel. Towels at the hospital are not big enough. Also pack a blanket to leave in the car for you. Hospitals get cold. So if you do get cold you can send hubby out to the car to retrieve the blanket. Happy pregnancy im due in September
Definitely take advantage of everything the hospital gives you! I was fully dialated and ready to push but had to have an emergency csection and was not ready for that. Make sure to take full advantage of the mesh panties and pads they give you as well as the little squirt bottle. That will be your best friend!
I’m not pregnant and have yet to be but following your journey has been so inspiring! Enjoy these last moments as your life will be forever changed soon! So excited for baby hailey to be here. Congrats babe!
I just had my baby four and a half weeks ago, let me give you some tips. Bring all of those white super stretchy underwear, because you’re going to need to use the hospital pads. You probably won’t be able to get away with regular period type pads for the first day at least. I went through about 15 thick hospital pads that first day. Just a heads up when your milk comes in your boobs will get very swollen. I had no idea what that would be like but I felt really achy like I had a bad flu or pulled all my abdominal muscles. I’d bring more than one nursing bra and tank because learning to feed is very messy, I soaked a couple bras and both tanks I had. I needed to labour in the shower and it saved my life, I’d bring a back up tank top and sports bra for the shower if I were you so you don’t soak your pjs. I wish I would’ve brought more newborn diapers, because our hospital only had size 1 which were wayyyy too big which is ok for in the hospital but not trying to dress her in tiny newborn clothes. Congrats and best of luck! It’s so amazing meeting your baby girl for the first time. ❤️
Oh!! this reminds me the first time you start up breastfeeding after baby is born it hurts because your stomach starts contracting to go back to normal sate it's called ( involution.) It's one of the worse moments in breastfeeding.
I would recommend you get a book on nursing believe me it helps a ton and star reading. It’s what made me be able to nurse my son for a while year. It’s tough but so worth it. It’s definitely something you should start reading up on now, hope this helps you out mama. Can’t wait to see baby girl
It’s so exciting to see you preparing and getting ready to give birth! It brings back memories of when I was getting ready for my babies! It’s a beautiful experience! Enjoy every second! Praying for a healthy and quick birth and healthy baby.
Hon, Jose should pack a bag as well because he'll need things like snacks/things to keep him comfortable etc. Dad's do what's in my bag videos too. It would be cool to see jose's hospital bag😩
I had my daughter at 32 weeks I was so scared but pulled the strength from prayer and it was amazingly easy. You got this girl! I wish luck. Big pads are your best friend and the witch hazel pads are awesome. Also have a squeeze bottle you will fill with warm water for after you use the bathroom.
been watching you since you were in new york and jose wouldnt even come on camera. i'm so happy to see yall grow as people and enter all these new chapters. i am sure you will be an AMAZING and loving mom. Cant wait to meet the baby girl :)
I just had my baby this week and I recommend you pack at least two more outfits just in case the baby spits up or something like happened to me twice. Also take white short sleeve onesies to put underneath the outfits as recommended by the hospital for the first days. The Always adult diapers were life savers for me 🙌🏼... Btw you look beautiful!!!! Best of wishes for you and your family! 😍
I'm 35 weeks this week and I've been going through this pregnancy with you! You gave me so many good ideas for my own hospital bag! Love these videos and so happy for you, God bless 💖
I cant believe my makeup influencer that I've been watching IS THE SAME WEEKS AS I AM. I turned 32 weeks today. 💘 Thank you for making me feel like I'm not alone in this process
I had my first baby last year and honestly I over packed too! Lol The main things I used was nipple cream, tooth brush, deodorant, cozy socks, & slippers. They provide you with lots of things I didn’t even think of & from my experience motherhood was so tough those first few hours I didn’t even care to think about my bag lol. the squirt bottle is EVERYTHING, witch hazel pads 🙏, & perineal cream was 🙌🏼 I know you said you plan to breastfeed but when they ask you should say you’re planning on bottle feeding because they won’t give you any formula if you say you’re breast feeding only. My milk hadn’t come yet until a few days after giving birth, during our hospital stay my baby would cry non stop we got ZERO rest and it was all because he was hungry. He ended up dropping almost a full pound in 2 days so I had to give him formula for a week and let my nipples rest (he tore them up). Best of luck on your delivery!
Can you please link the link of where you got the decals I didn’t see it in the nursery room video either I have been looking around for decals like this but they are super pricey I love how it all turned out so pretty don’t worry about taking too much things most of the things you won’t use the hospital provides things too for the baby
girl yesss those maternity underwear are the best. right after you have your baby the hospital will require you to wear pads & ask that you throw them away laid open so they can see, just so they can monitor how much you bleed. but when they say it’s okay to, you can switch to the discreet underwear and see which one you like more. I preferred the underwear for the first few days. I also made padsicles for after delivery. they’re pads that help you heal and help the pain while keeping you comfortable, you get the longer “nighttime pads” and you put some witchhazel aloe Vera gel and coconut oil on them and put them in the freezer. They have tutorials on UA-cam and Pinterest and you can switch the ingredients to your liking. I thought they sounded kinda crazy but they came in so CLUTCH after giving birth. another thing that I realized was that I would need way more clothes for my baby than i originally thought. I had a baby boy and he peed every single time we changed his diaper. He peed on his blankets and clothes and I lived 30 miles from the hospital so I couldn’t just send my boyfriend to go get more. Next time I’ll definitely bring more outfits/sleepers. My robe was my best friend at the hospital lol. I’m so excited to see you be a mommy, I know you’ll be great 💜
Awww everything is so well prepared. I am so happy for u and Jose!!! I remember when I guys were in riverdale...look how far you have come!! God is good.
A few things from a second-time mom (of course take them with a grain of salt just my experience): 1. Mesh panties and those diapers are LIFE the first week or two They are wayyyy more comfortable than a pad and easier to mess with too. You'll be surprised. 2. Most of your pjs are long sleeve. I'd look into an option for at least one to be short sleeve or lightweight because um hormonal night sweats are a mother. My absolute fav thing to wear was a nice lightweight robe, nursing tank and the mesh panties. Comfy and easy to access everything. 3. You probably wont be able to use the feminine wipes for awhile until everything heals down there. I'd suggest Tucks wipes with witch hazel if you need wipes.
Thank you for linking all this stuff!! I’m expecting my first and have watched many of these videos but no one ever links anything so it’s always a struggle to find. Much appreciated. 💓💓
Keep the hospital bag and your bag in the car that way when your water breaks you don’t forget anything, because in the moment you’re rushing and not thinking straight when you’re in a rush to get to the hospital.
I absolutely LOVE the nursery, it's beautiful!!!! I want MY room to look like that! lol Diana, great items! Not sure if you'll be taking pics in the hospital but take an outfit you want to be photographed in. Also, don't forget to have Jose pack his dad bag too since he most likely will be staying with you. Excited for you guys!
You won’t need the baby briefcase. They send all the important documents thru the mail. But if it makes you feel better take it. I know I over Packed for my first baby also. 🥰
How exciting I'm 32 weeks too! I'm Also expecting a babygirl, my 3rd 😊 Now I need to get my bag ready. Dermaplast is a numbing spray they give you at the hospital, it will be your best friend for pain. & you should get some pads for your bed kinda like puppy potty training pads to protect your bed for when u get home. That's all I think of right now but I'm so excited for you to be a first time mom! God bless you & your baby girl! 😊 💕
Where did you order your floral wall stickers from and which one is it? Can you plse provide the link? They are lovely! And the nursery mirror too plz!
I AM 32 WEEKS TODAY! OMG! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS! you have been my SAVIOR for all things baby! there is so much that goes into getting the best and feeling comfortably prepared for your first pregnancy! I LOVE YOU DIANA! can't wait to see your maternity photos! they will be absolutely STUNNING! also, if you find time, if you could make a vid or add into a vid, the short routine you plan to do for your makeup that would be AMAZING! again, CONGRATS AND YOU'RE DOING AMAZING SWEETIE! 💕
Hi Diana. I had a baby 16 months ago and I both the same belly band I thought will works wonders (had a vagina delivery) but was a pain. The velcro on the band was annoying hurting my skin and couldn’t get very tight on the waist. Btw congrats on the baby girl I’m so excited for both you guys
Hi Diana! I’m new to your channel! Love love love your videos!!! I’m also about to be a first time mami to a baby girl (due November). Can you pleeeease do an update on this video? Like if all your items in your bag worked out for you, Or if you didn’t like something, or if you would recommend adding something you may have forgotten (for both your Bag and the babies). Would LOVE any tips! 🤗❤️
Diana! I think you should also take a pillow (cause the ones at the hospital are uncomfortable) and your own towel. I also think you should pack a comfy cardigan or something cause it does get pretty chilly. I can’t wait for baby girl to arrive so happy for you and Jose :)
Thank you so much! Currently in the process of getting things ready, since my due date is coming up on 6/18 and I’m soooo nervous! Wishing you the best xo!
I’m 27 weeks with my second baby and I’m nervous as well but you got this! You literally have everything you need 💜💜 wishing you the best of luck and a safe delivery!
Yes that brief case is a good one!!! And also take a small notebook with a pencil to write important things down. If you’re planning on having people visiting you I would take an extra bag for gifts. I took a big plastic bag and it came handy. Also a pillow for you and Jose. The hospital pillows are not the best
You look so pretty!!! Yes, please do an Amazon essentials video!!!! Can’t wait to meet your baby girl. Good luck and some advice, it’s all about the breathing.
So excited for you and Jose, I'm sure we are all anxious to see this little Angel. BY THE WAY the back wall with the peonies looks amazing, great job parents. ❣️
Congratulations to you and Jose once again 💕 Becoming a mother was one of the best things that ever happened to me! I LOVE that almost everything is from amazon! But girl don’t forget lip balm/chapstick!! My lips were so dry the whole time I was in the hospital.
A boppy or some sort of breastfeeding pillow bc hospital pillows suck! Lol and granola bars or some light snack for when you’re contracting and stuff, and HAIR TIES!!
You look beautiful 💖 her nursery is goals I just found out I’m pregnant and have different types of emotions since it was unplanned I’m just scared and nervous
I’m so exited for babygirl to be here. Been a subscriber since you guys where living in New York. And just to know that babygirl will be here soon, is so excited. I can’t wait to see you and jose become parents 🥰😁
Yes & for herself I remember having my second baby girl & being soooo hungry afterwards I even walked to the vending machine 😂 my husband has gone home to shower
Omg from what I can see the nursery looks so cute omg!!!!! This video is definitely going come in handy when I decide to have a baby. Love you diana💕 omg I cant believe your pregnancy has gone by so fast
Make sure you take deodorant and plenty of hair ties, if you get epidural you’re going to be laying down a lot so make sure you have your hair in a braid or brush it constantly, I got a huge knot on the back of my hair, took me a week to get rid of it lol & make sure you take baby a soft blanket for when you leave the hospital 🤗 congrats again can’t wait to see her! 💕
Awesome! I'm 28 weeks Haha I'm getting anxious.... the nursery looks so beautiful!! Thanks for posting... I'v been trying to decide when to start a hospital bag....
Everything you have is what you will need!!!! Lol I remember my first time no one told me how bad my nips would hurt and it’s the worst 🙄😭 but thankfully it lasts only a few days. Just cover your self up well for the first few weeks I know it’s hot and stuff around this time but just so your bones don’t ache and stuff 🙂
Take a hoppy pillow or any nursing pillow. They make a big difference. I didn’t take one and hours after having my daughter. My bf went to get one and it was life changing. Hope it helps ❤️
Loved this! Will keep it in my favorites for future reference. The nursery is so cute , I saw the vlog where you guys were putting the decals on the wall. Soooo cute! I think it’s always best to pack more than you think you’re going to need just in case . I’m not a mother but it’s a tip I live by if i’m gonna be away from home. Congrats and can’t wait for you and us to meet baby Hailey! 💝💝💝 And maybe Jose should do a hospital bag too? 🤔🤔
Thank you!
Right, I was just like her super ready. I only ended up using not even half of the stuff I took. Yes we’re interested in a post delivery video please.
I’m not even pregnant and this video was so fun to watch! You had some great ideas. Congratulations on your baby girl.
From experience, youll be in the white undies mostly as the nurses have to check the pads regularly after you deliver 😊 your robe is super cute..a little thin. Both times I delivered they check for blood loss or clots 24 hours after I delivered
Debbie Taylor I had a catheter for the whole day I delivered in the morning nurses yeah would come and make sure that not a lot of blood
Debbie Taylor Really??🤔
Yeah I was checked routinely as well!
I was also checked lots because of the amount of blood loss
Im a 2nd time mom.. you may want to consider a towel. Towels at the hospital are not big enough. Also pack a blanket to leave in the car for you. Hospitals get cold. So if you do get cold you can send hubby out to the car to retrieve the blanket. Happy pregnancy im due in September

I’m due September too! Thanks for the blanket tip lol

Make sure to take full advantage of the mesh panties and pads they give you as well as the little squirt bottle. That will be your best friend!
Omg those mesh panties are life right after birth! And yes the squirt bottle as well.
The mesh panties were life! Before I got discharged I asked for extra to take home, the gave me a box full. Lol
I’m not pregnant and have yet to be but following your journey has been so inspiring! Enjoy these last moments as your life will be forever changed soon! So excited for baby hailey to be here. Congrats babe!

But girl don’t forget lip balm/chapstick!! My lips were so dry the whole time I was in the hospital.
Is that list linked anywhere? I dont see it and I'm also a new expecting mom 21 weeks and trying to prepare in advance
A boppy or some sort of breastfeeding pillow bc hospital pillows suck! Lol and granola bars or some light snack for when you’re contracting and stuff, and HAIR TIES!!

The nursery is looking so pretty already 😩🌸
Get some snacks for Jose so he doesn’t have to go to the cafeteria, btw good luck 🥰🥰
Karina Figueroa Good advice!! when we were at the hospital it sucked having to keep pulling money out of the atm to get snacks from the machine
I second that my husband made this a priority as he didn’t want to leave me for too long to get himself food that and his favourite chilli sauce lol!
Omg I remember after I had my son we were hungry so he went downstairs to the cafeteria and when he was coming back he got stuck in the elevator 😂😂
Yes & for herself I remember having my second baby girl & being soooo hungry afterwards I even walked to the vending machine 😂 my husband has gone home to shower
Is that wall paper? Do you have a nursery tour? I’d love the details it looks lovely.
Congrats to you and your family is this your first baby you look absolutely gorgeous what brand of diapers are going to use and love your nursery
Omg from what I can see the nursery looks so cute omg!!!!! This video is definitely going come in handy when I decide to have a baby. Love you diana💕 omg I cant believe your pregnancy has gone by so fast
From my experience I would recommend tucks pads which they give you in the hospital but have some for when you come home, and the boppy pillow!
You look so beautiful pregnant! Can’t wait to see your bundle of joy 💖💖
What lipstick do u have
So excited for you guys! We can’t wait to see the baby! ❤️
Hon, everything looks good, but you may want to get sensitive skin/unscented wipes for your private area👌🏾🙂Thanks for sharing!
Do you bring your pump so after the babies born you use your breast pump?
Make sure you take deodorant and plenty of hair ties, if you get epidural you’re going to be laying down a lot so make sure you have your hair in a braid or brush it constantly, I got a huge knot on the back of my hair, took me a week to get rid of it lol & make sure you take baby a soft blanket for when you leave the hospital 🤗 congrats again can’t wait to see her! 💕
A boppy pillow will be really helpful for nursing! I can’t wait to meet baby girl!!! So excited for you and Jose!
I need to know where that crib is from omg I’m in love with it!!! Awesome video, very minimalistic.
This went by too quick! You guys are so amazing and blesssssseddddddd. Side note; where are all these matching short and t-shirt sets from? I NEEEED
Awesome! I'm 28 weeks Haha I'm getting anxious.... the nursery looks so beautiful!! Thanks for posting... I'v been trying to decide when to start a hospital bag....
Very helpful video!! Thank you so much Diana! I’m due in December and already want to pack my bags because of this video lol
Praying for a fast and smooth delivery. Enjoy the entire experience ❤️😘
So happy and excited for you. This is a good reminder for me on what to pack as well. I’m due at the end of August!
Take a hoppy pillow or any nursing pillow. They make a big difference. I didn’t take one and hours after having my daughter. My bf went to get one and it was life changing. Hope it helps ❤️
Something that helps me a lot after delivery was the aloe vera gel for burns!! Its definitely a must!!!!!
Oh my goodness, the baby briefcase is SUCH a good idea! Can't believe I didn't even think of that! Baby boy arrives about a month after Hailey.
I’m so excited for you I can’t wait for her birth ❤️ Also you look absolutely stunning, that glow is everything
a warm warm blanket and pillow !!! 😭 it was so cold there and their blankets were not warm enough for me lol
If u use a hairbrush I highly recommend it because hair gets really messy and everywhere, so maybe a hairbrush and some ponytails while breastfeeding
What bag are you going to be using as a baby bag
Where is your crib from? I love it
So very happy for you guys!! Can’t wait to see the princess!! Girls are fun, I have 3 of them lol
And maybe Jose should do a hospital bag too? 🤔🤔
So excited for you, you’re super close! 🎀
That crib is everything!
