I've recently finished making my own fusion sword based on your tutorial. It took me roughly two months and I'm really happy with how it turned out. It was a great experience for me and I really wanted to thank you for your tutorial and providing the necessary steps in making the sword.

aye but the fusion sword would be a good episode as you have a lot of moving parts and getting all individual swords to connect to eachover, I'd imagine it would test their brains a bit. Would make one hell of an episode though

I truly love the fact I dreamed recently about doing a prop like that but I knew for sure I couldn't. And moreover, I had the Awe forge Buster Sword in mind too.
(Maybe I wouldn't do it this year or in 2017, but I will do it for sure)
Odin is so great at this, honestly the cast they have now are all pretty good

I want to see an actual Fusion Sword made of metal.
Burst Flare they actually sell them online. Not the best quality (meaning I wouldn't use them in any combat situation lol) but they are all metal, and break down into all the individual blades. If I can find it again I will post the link so you can check it out.

Burst Flare I found one on etsy. I cannot find the one I saw when the movie first came out. It was a Japanese blacksmith that documented the entire build that a customer requested. If you search google for it you may have some luck. Not sure if you just appreciate the craft, or are looking to obtain one. But you can find both with a little digging.

Burst Flare apologies, I copied the wrong link..I was in a hurry because I probably shouldn't be using my time at work to look these things up..but it's Friday lol. Anyways, if you look hard enough you can find blacksmiths in the states that will build you one, and even some that are already built and available for purchase. Sorry again my man. StarTsurugi I don't think they won't do it, it's more they still didn't figured a way to do it but I don't really know so im just speculating.
a kid was able to do it. but with wood i think. But disregarding weight, I think it's doable
I think weight is the deciding factor here. Kind of like they did Guts' pre-Dragonslayer sword, knowing full-well, everyone was requesting the Dragonslayer.

Wonder how much of a pain in the ass it'd be to make that sword have 4 blades that can all come out instead of just looking like it.
Full sized? Quite a pain. I somehow managed to make a small k'nex version of the sword with each of the blades able to lock into place.

Thanks. K`nex doesn't get as much attention as Lego, which is a bit of a shame.

Yeah. There was a decent amount you could do with K'nex than you could with Lego. I think you were able to make motorized vehicles with them at some point.
A couple of the K`nex sets I have allowed you to make motorized dinosaurs. I also have an old Lego motor set, but it doesn't allow as much freedom as the K`nex motors.
Make something from RWBY. Crescent Rose, Qrow's scythe or the Ember Celica would all be great builds.

please can you make Ike's (Fire emblem) shoulder armor and/or sword? (the young Ike) it's quite easy but that would show how to build a shoulder armor.
If it's armor you want, let them go for the Black Knight or Zelgius's.
