KingdomKnightz Thank you!

Odin Makes PORTAL GUN
Yes! I thought I was the only one who noticed that almost every tutorial/photo on internet about the keyblade was always weird. But this one is perfect
you got that right
IM THROWING MONEY AT THE SCREEN BUT NOTHING IS HAPPENING
I heard you have more luck with credit cards
No, no, no. You're supposed to throw "Munny", not "Money". *D:*
Common mistake.
Omg throw harder lmfao
Try your debit card!
Meowser: AimeeWoodWorks does a pretty amazing job on custom keyblades, if you're still interested? www.etsy.com/listing/200534340/wooden-keyblade-cosplay-prop-inspired-by?ref=shop_home_feat_1&frs=1
i love that end line. and this is how odin makes!
Totally agree. Great catchphrase.
This aged like wine
Dude! I saw 5 videos in less than an hour during work!! You've earned my subscription.
I love your style, voice over explanations, attention to detail in your work, and variety of themes throughout.
You're the real deal bro! You deserve your success! Keep making videos pleeeease!!!
I have been looking for a keyblade like this for so long! I havn't purcased any keyblades online becasue of the fact that they are to skinny and unlikely the video games.. as you also said in the video! Big thanks for this video. I will now craft my own Mickey mouse key blade and Sora's keyblade to hang on my wall.
Ciryez Right on!
Your attention to detail and integrity to staying true to the source material was excellent. Best model I've seen yet.
I love this man. They Kingdom Key looks so simple and clean.
… is the way that you’re making me feel tonight~ it’s hard to let it go
I think this one is the best DIY I've seen for the Kingdom Key
kejow We shot this build over two days. So, how long? A weekend- it does take longer to shoot a build than to just build it. If I had all the parts ready I could make another in a day, depending on weather and the paint drying. And thank you for the wonderful compliment!
Odin Makes: Me a Sandwich
Infamous Pilgrim21 did you like your sandwich?
Odin Makes Yeah! The video was hilarious!
Infamous Pilgrim21 Would you make me a sandwich?
no
Odin please make a duel disk from yugioh preferably the original
This guy's gonna get big, and i can't wait to say that I'll have known him way back when he had 500 subs. Keep at it man :D
hes already fairly well known if you watch diy prop shop
Danrazer cant wait to say i know him from when he was at 1k
Iron Blazer456 at least 50k have know him from before that, if not a couple hundred thousand
he now has 500k
congrats, you are before 499,500 other subscribers.
Mega made it to 500k subs , halfway there
I didn't know you had your own channel, but i'm so happy to have found this.
Wow, I love it... Oblivion Keyblade, please, please, please.
:p I mean, CDS, I found you a very very nice but quite expensive one? www.etsy.com/listing/497394368/wooden-oblivion-keyblade-cosplay-prop?ref=shop_home_active_8&frs=1
It's so beautiful!!! :,)
Finally someone who made it look legit! ^^
It'd be cool to see a video of Riku's Way to the Dawn Keyblade.
Just went to GameStop yesterday. They had a Kingdom Key for sale, and it was super light. Looked super cool! Around $20, I think.
Wow. You're amazing make the most powerful keyblade like that it called the lionheart keyblade. 🗡🗡🗡🗡🦁
This is EXACTLY what I needed!!! Thank you so so so much for your video, you demonstrated everything so well and so clearly, and it was a lot of fun to watch as well!! ✨✨
And a Disney can't mass produce something similar to this because.....?
Awesome project Odin! If you are looking to make more cool video game swords, Squall's Lionheart gunblade from Final Fantasy VIII is my suggestion.
I cringe everytime I see someone with or a listing online for one of those god awful Amazon/eBay Keyblades. Thank you for being more accurate with yours lol
Its pretty much the only way to get one without making one yourself tho..
Do you take requests? Please make Scarecrows Arkham Knight toxin gauntlet!
I'm sorry, but I just couldn't stop humming Simple & Clean as I watched the first time, so I had to watch it again to actually follow the instructions
This is amazing!! thanks for the inspiration!! Your vids on propshop made me want to become a prop master for my career!
nice vid! FINALLY someone who made it the right way! and with a parts list as well? PROPS to you man keep it up! definitely subbed!
Fantastic pacing, no bull filler and I learned a number of things. Great video!
How about the daedric sword from skyrim
Before I looked at your subscriber count, judging by the quality of your content, I assumed you had at least 100k, minimum.
When I saw you didn't even have 1,000, I immediately subscribed.
Keep doing what you're doing! You'll get the audience you deserve in no time!
Paul Green Thank you sir!
I actually made my own based off your video back in 2018 (meant to comment sooner but forgot lol) it wasn’t perfect lol but it came out really well and I went to a con and everyone thought it was cool and I direct them to your channel thanks for making this video
Wow Odin.. that is amazing!! I am a huge Kingdom Hearts fan and I have to say, what you made is amazing! I hope you get very, VERY big one day, and that people will see your incredible work. I would try to make this, but I know I would mess up, and I really do not feel like having to go out and buy materials. XD But keep up the amazing work Odin! Can't wait to tell everyone that I knew you since 500 subscribers. :)
I feel you do better on your own than AWE me I hope your channel goes big because your awesome at DIYs
I found this to be the best replica that has been made. The only thing I would have down was found a way to have the shoulder of the keyblade the exact size as the blade, but with a turned in edge that matched the game a little better
man, where was this video 10 years ago when i made a keyblade out of cardboard and a dowel? i wanted to make many keyblades, but after the defeat of the first one, i gave up. maybe i'll try again.
dr. Claws Claw from Inspector Gadget movie can you make that please
Odin I'm a huge fan of your channel can you please make wolverines claws
Thanks for making my keyblade I appreciate it .
You got me some ideas on how I can start building this. I found a perfect pipe for it but I didn´t know how I would do the rest. Thank you for making it easier for me. You got the proportions down perfectly and it looks really beautiful.
blade of olympus please
Trenton Christiansen Wow: monsterous, detailed, epic. I love it.
I'm absolutely going to try and make one
boba Fett helmet please
Realize I'm a year and change late, but what size hole saw bits did you use? I'm making Keyblades for my friends and I since Kingdom Hearts 3 is soon, but I'm getting stuck on a few parts yet
awesome now we get to see all odin all the time , not hendo and vinny!!!!
Working on one of these now- it’d help if you specify the length of the 2’’ coupler because the one I bought looks a lot shorter than the one you have here
could you tell me what thickness he uses with the EVA?
Make Riku's keyblade
Thank you so much! This will help me Make Rainfall Aquas keyblade for a cosplay
You sir, is *hands down* AWESOME 💜
Oh my god, everything I know about cosplay making is a lie...
Yo I would pay for that! How much would you want for that KeyBalde
can you make ruby sythe plz
No lie I wish I could pay you to make the keyblade for me, in not that great at creating stuff and would have loved for it to be made :/
I always play kingdom hearts and that was amazing Odin
Odin how would you make a Mario coin.
Plot twist; it's made out of actual gold
Plot twist mark 2' it's made out of melted pennies
If you put those to full size, they would not of fit on A4 paper that well... After trying myself I found out the hard way
I want to 3d design of a key blade from a image I found online but it's tricky to do and it's hard to figure out the shape on a 2d image and making it 3d
D'you think we'll ever see you making weapons from Overwatch ? Preferrably D.Va's gun in my case c:
you should make a deactivated light saber prop
Michael Keller you mean the hilt
I may be late for requests, but could you try making the Oathkeeper Keyblade? I'm curious how you'l handle the shape of the actual blade portion.
Hi Odin my name is Lance Yazzie and I love all your videos especially the video of the Kingdom key from Kingdom Hearts
I wish I would make one just like yours someday and Odin ( May your Heart be your guiding key )
Any chance you could make Scarborough Fair, the guns from the first Bayonetta?
I can't help but ask...why didn't you heat seal the edges of the foam at the very least? It would have saved the edges from being fuzzy after painting. As well, the harsh line between the teeth of the key and the pipe is harsh and obvious, a little bit of 100% silicone in there would have lessened the harsh line between them, allowing for a look that was more seamless. These are just my little nitpicks though, the prop looks cute!
can you make two Keyblades of Oblivion and Oathkeeper please Odin???
This feels like what PDP used when making their Keyblade for GameStop (Besides the hilt and handle which are plastic
It looks good, but I have seen no one ever make the handle design exactly how it is supposed to appear...like in the CGI cutscenes and how it will be in KH3.
I get really overwhelmed when I watch these videos. I get excited because I think I might be able to make these things too, but I don't have these many tools and it seems like he has entirely different, specific and expensive tools for every scenario. It's really discouraging for me.
This one ought to be easy to do; Make a Harry Potter's wand and make it hard to break. Noble Collection wands are great replicas but they feel fragile, easy to break. I want to see if there's a way to make durable, not easy to break when you just want a perfect replica toy to play with instead of just a collector's item.
Hey dude...you should start your own company selling props....I would buy from u
In total, how much was all of the materials if you can remember?
I would KILL to see him make vanitis's red and black void gear, no name, and winning proof
I can't believe you one have 1k subs I know you will get big ! and I'll be proud I subscribed at only 1k
Hey All Father, would you be willing to make one for my sons' bedroom and how much?
What would you recommend to someone who does not have the tools shown? (I.e. grinder, the high powered saws)
Odin can you make a tools of the trade video where you showcase all your power tools, tools, etc. im starting to save up to buy a scroll saw, bench sander, etc so i want to know which brands you use.
Keeps making Episodes
riptide from percy jackson or maby backbiter ooh or archenedes sphere from heroes of olympus i cant decide youre just to good at shat you do X3
Is there anyway to upload or have a way to find the blue prints? I searched the reddit name and couldn't find anything for it
Make Mickey's keyblade
Thank u!! Tutorial for the gamer girls and gamer girlfriends of gamers ❤❤
I would have casted it out of steel and bronze then painted it like the actual keyblade, but I think it would be the oblivion key
I remember having one of these in my house because either my dad made it out of wood of a friend made it because it was wood then we left it at the old house by mistake
Can anyone help me. Where is a good place to look for reference material images for Bleach swords ?
I’m going to need one of these, and a Kingdom Key D, and maybe a Keyblade of Heart as well
Odin, please make the Infinity Gauntlet. I really want to see how you make one.
Maybe you can try making a Splattershot from Splatoon?
Try and make Roxas keyblades oathkeeper and Oblivion
could you make the scissor blade from kill la kill it's the same problem XD
Awesome video man, can't believe you only have 600 subs
Make overwatch Junkrats gun or tire or Doomfists gauntlet
While the games in the past may have that cartoon look the newer current games have detailed where you can see all the scratches within the metal.
quick question kingdom hearts fans why a mickey head
I think it would be cool if you made something from star wars
What about oblivion and oath keeper how are we gonna make them cause i wanna dress up as roxas
Make Excalimune from Sunset Overdrive
Thats really cool! Ones Ill have money I'll definitely try to make it too
The Keyblade you made is Video Game accurate and I love it.
Where do you cut on the blueprints in order to get this right
Alice Madness Returns Vorpal Blade replica
Could you make the sword from the first Beastmaster movie?
I made my own keyblade out of cardboard it was kinda difficult to cut
Aww, I'm a bit disappointed by the end result. Nothing to say against the construction process: You're a pro and you know this Odin. ;)
It's the paint job that kinda ruins it for me. The fact you decided to go for a clean/non-weathered look make it so we can see all the imperfections. (The layers of foam, the seam between the foam parts and the pvc pipe, the uneven paint-job) Perhaps more time spend trying to hide those elements would have been required?
Still, love your builds!
Clean is tough. It was a decision from the beginning, not just a "I'm out of time." But I hear ya- there is also an element of "inspire other to do" and not make something that is seen as out-of-reach. Everyone has different abilities, but it is something that I think about most of the time.
Thank you for being honest! Have an upvote from me.
Indeed, a clean look is the most difficult and less forgiving finish for any props. Don't worry, though: that was inner perfectionist speaking here, ah ah.
Still, you're my favorite builder in DIY Prop Shop and for a good reason. Not only you know what you are doing but also you keep in mind your audience:
"But I hear ya- there is also an element of "inspire other to do" and not make something that is seen as out-of-reach. Everyone has different abilities, but it is something that I think about most of the time."
Your answer here proves it. So, I think you deserves honest comments since I respect you a lot.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read my comment and for being a such gentleman, Odin. Good luck with your channel! :)
Please make a lego dimensions davros from the doctor who level.
