I feel so bad for the elderly and handicap. They are vulnerable. Please, Center Point, get the power turned on to their neighborhood. My prayers are with you, Houston.🙏🫶
Luckily we evacuated before the storm, just b/c we didn’t want to deal w/the outages. But we did have 1.5 days in w/no power when we came back. Had we stayed it would be day 8 until we got power. It’s never been this bad, and Houston has had Cat 1 hurricanes. That man is in good spirits in b/c it was 107 degrees. He hs a good daughter trying to help him. But Houston is a hot mess right now. Praying for everyone in Houston to get power soon. It’s been interesting seeing who got power 1st.
Why would this county not do the elderly first these are elderly and sick. That’s crazy he’s in the dark were he could trip, fall or someone break in. Shame on center point is a hororable company. There should be a list of first priority that include hospitals, disable and elderly. Lots of people want electricity but these are people that can do for themselves and depend on the county. Shame, Shame
Sorry for the Elderly and all those who are suffering still this week. Wouldn't this be considered a State emergency and have the Army deploy water and portable cooling facilities? Could other Electric repair contractors from other States come and help out? Can we do a little better America?
Be sure we thank our governor for the get out of jail free card Abbott gave the multimillion dollar utility companies to get away with not having to secure the structure, or having to upgrade systems.
He probably don’t wanna leave and be a bother to her… many different reasons… pls don’t assume the worst of people. You don’t know everyone’s situation
They said he didn’t feel comfortable leaving his home behind. The daughter said it’s a high crime neighborhood. People will probably break in the house. Also squatters have more rights in this country than homeowners. They see an empty house for a few days and seize on it. Vile squatters can break in and claim the house as theirs. The daughter probably tried to take him, but he refused. She can’t drag him out and force him to go.
How about you put the Tootsie roll in your mouth allowing a man to stay inside his home in the dark in a high crime neighborhood is not the safest thing either he’s elderly and handicap materialistic things can be replaced👀🍬

Why doesn't the daughter take him to her home at least during the day then bring him at night due to the area? !!

Get the tootsie roll out your ear & listen. He said he didn't feel safe leaving his home because of crime.
