This was the first defqon after covid , the phoenix stage and the rise again theme was well picked. Since 2003 i have been going to this festival and every year it gets better and bigger. but this one was so special after 2 years covid and all the restrictions. So was it emotional YES down to the bones, goosebumps and a smile that hurts . Everybody on this festival is there for one reason celebrate the harder styles of music. Greetings from the defqon 2024 campsite!

I was there and it was my first defqon 1. I got goosebumps over my hole body and I cry a lot because it was a big dream to stay there meet new friends and enjoy this music with people they also love this kind of music.
this was my first Defqon.1 and i just survived another 4 days this weekend for 3 years in a row now and i'm not planning on stopping to go here. It's like a big big family of people who love this music and each other. See you all next year fellow weekend warriors 🧡🧡
Amazing! I was there! One of the best moments of my life. When 70k people around are feeling the same as you and watching the theatre of it all it's very beautiful! Hands down best event in the world!

I was there and let me tell you, it feels unreal being there. To think that what started out as some guys playing hard trance and gabber records for their friends in garages and parking lots has turned into whatever this is is truly incredible. That’s musical innovation for you.

Most festivals in the Netherlands has the endshow and it's always big🎉🎉
the lasers forming a ceiling is a common techniek by light artists to make the space smaller and feel more cozy. It's often used in tall spaces or open air. Technically speaking you don't need the smoke as the lasers are just high intensity beams of light. But smoke is often used to enhance the effect, especially when it's during the day.
Yeap! The smoke they use is visible then it start to throw from smoke cannons 😉 I always notice it there and realize oh there will be lasers soon 😌
i was there this year friday ending with sefa, so crazy, got really emotional aswell
every time i see this it give my goosbumps and its can realy emotional for some that bin there at defcon after covid . this was the first defcon without al restrictions

I was there. It was singing to be there after two years of nothing.
i was about to go there tomorrow, but i came down with the flu and stuck in bed with a high fever.
Had to sell my ticket earlier today, so sad right now.

I not have been there. But I have been at many of these outdoor festivals. Indoor ones are amazing to. And since ive experienced it I even get the goosebumps seeing this because I know how amazing it feels. And when you close to the stage your ribcage is lterally rumbling XD
And yes the lasers are like that. The smoke helps. Its awsome. They have many colors in lasers to.
If you ever have the chance. Go to one of these major festivals. It's lifetime experience.
Power hour is also great part of these festivals ;)
Almost forgot. The intros per act are amazing to.
The Dutch love parties, always 🎆 even in my village Volendam 🎉🍻 the most beautiful village in the country 😜
I regularly have to babysit my grandchildren, but that's no problem of course 🤗

its a 3 day event where you have normal day tickets combi tickets vip tickets and ofcourse full access camping + vip tickets. So they earn it back multiple times.. Any idea how many fluegels are sold in 3 days lol

@@DACHBenelux There is some editing but not much just like power hour they do some editing but the lights lasers and fireworks are real oh and te people to haha.
The light show looked awesome, but the crowed looked pretty dead to me. Perhaps this is an old man comment, but my last rave was in 2010. And crowds actually would be dancing and jumping around instead of standing still, gawking towards the stage with their cellphones out. Any current day houser/raver feel free to correct me if Im wrong. But if this is how Dutch raves are these days; than they aren't anymore what they used to be if the majority of people are just standing still.
This is the last 20 minutes of a 4 day festival so these People are letterly almost death 😂😂😂
