More than 150 events later it was enough for me. Started a total other chapter in life. Family. But still sometimes watching a event on UA-cam can gife me goosebumps
i remember being at tomorrowland several years ago where the bass was replaced by well timed fireworks. And it held up for so long without going out of timing. These closing rituals are beautifull and very hard work.

it was my 4th defqon this year and i can tell you, after 3-4 days of nonstop good vibes, crazy people, nice and loud music, when you come home it feels like something was taken from you and you feel empty. It is just and undescribable feeaing living throu an evet like this

I had been watching the endshows for 7 years and every year i wanted to be there. Finally that sunday you're seeing here i was there with my best friend. I was tearing up during that closing ritual to finally be there in person with all those people having the absolute time of my life. I was at the 3rd pole (counting from the stage) to the right. Shit was absolute bonkers and magical. Me and my best friend had our hands on eachothers shoulder the whole time embracing the moment as it was the first time for both of us. This festival just does something to you.

Hello I am from Germany. At Defqon1 they have a completely new stage design every year and the final show has been adapted to the new theme. So you'll be surprised and blown away every year. Yes, the final show is something special in the videos. But you have to experience it live once. By the way, there are many festivals like this in the Netherlands, all of which have an end show. This is simply standard for the Dutch. Something else nice, no matter what festival I went to in Holland, I never experienced that there was any stress or anything like that. The Hollenders are simply a peaceful party and celebration people. About the song on the left right: As far as I know, the song was first released in the hardstyle scene in 2009 by “Pavo & Zany - Orgasmo” and was also called something else. I think Left, Right was at Defqon for the first time since 2018. ua-cam.com/video/cnMtsrFCyDc/v-deo.html yes and since then it has simply been impossible to imagine life without it.

IMHO this year shows weren’t on the expected level especially for the 20th edition. I expected more 😅 Yea 10 stages we could choose from. The MainStage has a capacity of about 65k people. The stage itself had a width of 114,5m and a height of 34m.

When Q-dance uploads the official video of the endshow and the closing ritual, better camera angles are shown, the audio has no problems and it is synchronized with the video (in the stream it had about half a second delay). In addition, the cuts and video effects (zooming in to the beat etc.) are better. The official video should be released next weekend on the Q-dance UA-cam channel.
You should watch the shows out of 2019 and especially the ones from 2022. The 2022 edition was the first one after corona. i was there and it was totally insane after not been able to party for 2 years!
They also have and had endshow for Saturday, which is longer than this. And also, on Friday, there is kind of an closing or "endshow" with The Spotlight with This is Sefa. Fun fact you cant wear a tshirt of a footballclub here most problems i seen at these partys was amsterdam vs rotterdam. Thats the reason they banned club tshirts. You can wear orange thats allowed.
I had no idea what DefQon is, well I’m not into this kind of music but the laser shows and pyro’s were excellent. No I prefer symphonic metal-rock any day over this music. They too have their festivals, the most famous e is Wacken in Germany that usually has over 80000 people.
offcourse they go big. Defqon is 1 of the biggest if not the biggest hardstyle events in the world. This year was a bit smaller then last years numbers wise i think, but still atleast 100.000 people went there. And i think the average ticketprice among those that went was probably €150-200 and then probably that same amount for food and drinks. so we are talking about prettymuch 20-30 MILLION for just that 1 event. With that much money going round you can afford to go big. And before the war in russia i have been to a different q dance event where there was a group of 10 guys that came from russia, not just the close to us side of russia, but from beyond moscow from our side. Those guys traveled for more then a week to be there. And OFFCOURSE they where waving the russian flag. Actually i think we where surrounded by like 15 different flags from all over the world. Its pretty insane. And the vibe on these partys is even more insane. And that event was just 1 day, defqon is 3 days, and you can camp there as wel. So its much easier from people that came from far to go here and "justify" the long travel. Atleast they get to party 3 days for their long trip, not just 1 night.
2023 was better imo, but nowadays I prefer the Intense Festival endshows outperforming Defqon 🙈 Dominator endshows are nice also! Greetz from The Netherlands 🇳🇱

U dont understand... U dont see anything except some lasers and fireworks when ur in middle of the crowd. People are standing so close its impossible to really dance also... So a lot of people take their phones to see the show/ on the display.
Worst edition after 4 years going a weekend by myself as a Dutch person. Way too much non dutchies... Even the Aussies told me this was there worst year speaking for the atmosphere ,because of all the non Dutch visitors
