  • Making a new Set of Hay V-bars for my step deck trailer. These are a DOT requirement on the small bales of hay we haul. Used some pipe and chain from Home Depot, cut and welded up and painted to match. A simple project to help tighten up the load of hay.

I'm ready for Summer to end in Oz., but then our winters are mild by comparison.

Send it our way! I’m ready for summer and hay season to come back.

I see it allows you to safely tie down a loosely built load. I used to work for a hay and straw merchant here in northern England. I'm guessing that your loading was done solely by machine. Our loads were very much tighter, but that required a fair amount of manual labour. Different strokes!!

Yes it definitely does help tie down the load and we do everything by machine. I’m running all old iron. 1970’s international tractors, old freeman balers, and all.
