- Now that the dust and noise has settled, it's finally my turn to decorate and renovate parts of our charming countryside home that I've been waiting to tackle. In this video we will also be taking you on a short excursion to Lavender Fields, located at Pumpkin Blossom Farm, located in Warner, NH and of course a few garden updates.

I’m always so sad when I come to the end of your videos, but it seemed like this time I really felt the emotion. Seeing you walk around in the fields with your beautiful dress on, and it’s easy to see how much Ben loves you by the way he catches you with the camera. Y’all looked like you were having a wonderful time together-and I especially loved your walk in the woods wearing rubber boots with a lovely Summer dress. I love listening to the wood thrush. It always takes me back to when I was a child. They sang in the woods by our house every evening.

I love to wear dresses as well. I think I might be stuck in the 1940s when all the rest of the worls is in 2023😊. Unfortunately, I don't look as lovely as you do in yours😢😊. Looking at your beautiful home and gardens always amazes me. I am so confused by how you have done so much in such little time. You must be running on one of those little energizer bunny batteries! You hired me to help you run a bed & breakfast that you opened at Sugarwood. You had a little restaurant on the property too that was open only during certain hours. I would go out into the gardens and pick the fresh produce of the days menu, and I would clean the rooms; serve the guests. We ran this place like a well oiled machine! 😊❤🎉

Your new kitchen has come together so beautifully. I wasn't sure I was going to like the new window over what was there, but again, you made the right choice. It brings the outside in. I think the bird you heard was a thrush, possibly a Swainson's Thrush. I love listening to their song wafting through the trees.

Oh Linda, I wanted to tell you. You probably already know about this but I have an app on my phone from Cornell University called Merlin. You hit the little button and just hold your phone and it'll identify any birds that are singing and chirping. I absolutely love it. I could not believe all the birds in my neighborhood. Your area has to be filled with wonderful birds. Just wanted to let you know.

The first thing I noticed in the beginning of the section was the bright poppies. YES, you need to move them! We are kindred spirits, especially in your glorious gardens.

I think you are seeing what we call sweat bees in the South and they can sting...
As far as those beautiful poppies...you could plant them near the woods off to themselves with whites and yellows.. they are so bright!!!!

I think dresses are more comfortable to work in and I wear mine with polka dot rubber boots! The window looks great! Can’t wait to see everything when it’s finished! I love seeing all the bees too. Gardening does the same thing to me. I concentrate on the task at hand and my mind is clear and I feel relaxed. I think having your hands in the soil gives a sense of well-being too.
The poppies would look great naturalized out by the day lilies,
behind the lavender. Pink poppies wold be pretty in your border!
