I like how, according to Perkins, the T-Wolves shut down their opponents with their great defense but in the Mav’s run, the other team disappeared. It wasn’t the defense, they just didn’t show up.
Not only did Harden and PG “disappear” against the Mav’s, Kawhi played in games 2 and 3 (both losses) and then disappeared from Perk’s memory.

Everyone forgets Luka has been hobbled and has had below average performances in both of the playoff runs, kyrie had games where he didn’t score more than 15 points. These Mavs have yet to play to their full potential. The timberwolves are a really good team but when it comes to who I trust at the end of the game with a minute left and he needs to control the pace and tempo I’m taking Luka!

Mavs had the number 1 rated defense in the last 20 game. How are they still making the argument that they dont have a good defence. Ontop of that both clippers and OKC have way more offensive power than the wolves.

And Ant is getting cooked by Kyrie. Plus they’re getting so gassed on D that they’re struggling offensively. I love Ant and his commitment on defense, but it’s not the answer when the Wolves are in some desperate need for consistent scoring. Channing was spot on.
