I mean, they have 2 top 15 players and a good supporting cast of role players. They shouldn’t be favored to win a championship because there are a couple teams better than in the west, but they should still be really good and have expectations. @@mkingadiffernce Cite your resource, por favor. I haven’t seen this anywhere. Keep in mind, an endorsement for Hurley isn’t necessarily a non-endorsement for Reddick. That’s like saying choose between Luka or Giannis. If you pick one over the other, doesn’t necessarily mean you aren’t gladly accepting option B. But please Cite your resource, news article, podcast, radio show, interview where Coach K told the Lakers NOT to get JJ. I don’t think it happened but I’ll await your response.
@@mkingadiffernceCause Hurley is older and more experienced/right now he's at his peak not surprising.
Did they keep the same energy when Tyron Lue ( champion), Eric Spoelstra ( champion), Steve Kerr(4 time champion) all got jobs with zero coaching experience? 🤔🤔
Shady the same guy that said Trevor Lawrence didn’t deserve his new contract 😂 now his logic is “so what life is unfair “ make it make sense
Emmanuel Acho - outstanding thoughts. I always enjoy listening to you.
Nobody:
Morgan Freeman: you’ll be fired within a year son, you’ll be fired in a year….😅
😂😂😂
Steve Kerr. Killed it being the first coach.
Shady is the most sensible mind in this panel... Him and Joy really bring cojean analysis to this show
Cogent*
The two u just named don’t know sports at all they straight 🗑️ I can pull up hella evidence showing u they don’t know wtf they be talking about
JJ is a really gifted and smart basketball mind
Now we definitely know that the Lakers will draft Bronny. There is no one in the Lakers organization with more authority than Lebron.😂😂😂
These guys forget about Jason Kidd and Steve Nash both went from the couch or from playing straight to a NBA coach
Yeah, they are trippin. It's not like he wasn't a 15-year NBA veteran. It's actually becoming pretty common for former players to coach without much coaching experience, including Doc Rivers and Steve Kerr. I'm not saying it's going to work, but it's not unprecedented.
What’s wild is Acho… you are talking about JJ having a podcast became a head coach. Sir, what grind did you do as a practice squad player to get to where you are?
The Brooklyn Nets did the same thing when they hired Steve Nash.
The Mavericks did it with Avery Johnson
Doc Rivers, Jason Kidd, and Steve Kerr too. Being an NBA coach is mostly about managing egos.
They literally fired a first year.Head coach that took them to the western conference finals for a podcaster
Acho giving JJ the Catlin Clark treatment lmao
3 ex-football players having a debate about NBA coaching lol no ones taking this show seriously
Don’t need to play in the NBA to understand that hiring Reddick is an idiotic move
Speak for yourself… Stevie Wonder can see this some bs. 😂
What you want them to talk about in the offseason, the Stanley Cup? 😂 let ‘em cook.
What about ESPN/Fox have a bunch of journalist/reporter just talking about NBA/NFL moves? They are not even ex-players so everything they say are trash?
And dumb bucher who always hating on bron. That clown is walmart skip bayless
JJ Reddick .. coach of the year. He’s a man with a plan. He’s a high achiever
Did he say EAGLES super bowl champ?? 😅😅😅
It’s gonna be a lot of foot n mouth moments I fw jj he knows what’s needed coaching the lakers is more then coaching the lakers if that makes sense
So why we acting like Jj is the first Coach to have never coached
So after first thing first. This is the best NBA analysis show out there.
Watch JJ be an offensive genius
Displayed from podcast analysis 😂
@@BlackSkins-il7ch I mean you usually show how educated you are on something by speaking on it .
Please come back to your comment
@@mkingadiffernce never said for sure , but the dudes not a dumb guy lol . Didn’t last in the league off athleticism. They tried to get a better coach and couldn’t .
This dude with the glasses did the most just to be wrong.
Acho chill out you were a bench rider in the league and your a super mid at best sports commentator. Hatorade drinking
And yet your behind watched.
So here’s my question: why did you watched the segment??
Because if you a hater, you don’t watch the show.
Yeah I’m calling your weak take out in public homie…
Acho is a very good commentator
Not gonna talk about his pro career because he made it, but he's the worst part of this show. Hands down.
@@cypriancoxno, he is awful.
@gregorymoore1210 What you need to call out is your weak grammar, brother. In an age where autocorrect exists, there's no place for it.
Acho, this was a terrible take. You can name a bunch of reasons why you think JJ shouldn't be the coach but lack of work ethic should have never been used. JJ has a bunch of work ethic. It may not have been in coaching yet, but work ethic is one of his strengths.
His assistants will be teaching him how to coach. Better off trying Monty Will, JB Bicketstaff or Mark Jackson
There are already rumors his main assistant will be Rondo, another person who never coached. It’s a clown show
Jason Kidd has never coached, Steve Kerr ,
The “he never coached” is just an awful argument
Boy if they win everybody going be on their 🥩. Mark my words
@Skiandthstswatitis lakers are done winning.
“The secret to success is who you know, success is connections” - TA
29 teams did not win last year. JJ coached none of them. 29 coaches were losers last year. Championship or Bust is the fallacy, not giving JJ the opportunity. This commentary, with 3/4 of these grown men laughing at another professionals resume, career aspiration and willingness to let others paint a bullseye on him is poor form gentlemen.
When you have Anthony Davis and Lebron James on your roster, realistic or not, it is championship or bust!
He said it's wild the heat hired a guy from the filmroom lol😅
Okay, what about Mark Jackson? He used to be an nba player and currently commentator? He has no experience in coaching?
Every coach was a coach for the first time. Sitting on someone's bench don't mean you can coach. Ability to coach is a skill in intellect, implementation, and adjustments.
Disrespectful to say it was just because of the podcast
Didn’t Jason Kidd get a coaching job without any coaching experience
Let's be honest. JJ is an intern and Bron is coaching the team
“Lord help us!!!! HOW??!!!”
-Acho🤣🤣
Acho always sounds like a grumpy old man about everything
Very disingenuous to act like he didn’t play for good coaches and wasn’t a good player.
