All of the food looks great, I love watching you meal prep and I love your style of cooking. You do so much for your family and you never seem to get tired, reminds me of my mom. Your kids will remember all the great meals and everything you did for them in the name of love for many years to come. I love your attitude and commitment to "getting things done". I'm a nurse too and I understand the culture of wanting to help people and make it better. I know you're on the administrative end of nursing now, but I'm sure you were a great bedside nurse as well. It shows in the way you take care of your family. You are successful because of the genuine love, respect, and commitment you have and it comes across in your videos. Keep doing what you do, much love.
I’m enjoying your older vlogmas playlists more than humans should be allowed! I love your process and the way you structure your videos. Your kids are so smart and adorable ❤ Jen, your videos are helping me have some sanity in my world which is very challenging right now. Thank you❤🎉
Sue here: Jen - yay for fresh whole nutmeg! MY husband finally you d some at the grocery and bought me two jars 😀. Your easy suppers look just perfect. A share: winter fruit salad (pineapple and mandarins oranges) are winners topped with a dollop of lime sherbet - a hint from an old cookbook. Thank you again for your fun well made videos. 💚
In one of your videos you ask for things we had learned from cooking. I find that instead of getting a big 25 lb Tom turkey if you get two 12 to 14 lb hens it will feed the same amount of people, have twice as many drums to go around, cook in less time, usually in the same dish/amount of space and be twice as tender. Also a few drops of yellow food coloring will make your gravy prettier. (Kitchen bouquet for a brown gravy). Enjoyed watching !
You are so awesome. Lol I just wanted to say that. I’m not usually a commenter but your channel has become my favorite channel to keep up with on UA-cam! You’re so motivating and you really do inspire me and make cooking and cleaning more enjoyable. I cook for one so it isn’t so fun when you don’t have people around to chat with or hang with while you cook/clean lol. You’re my role model, you have the best down to earth natural personality on camera and I believe the most productive person I’ve ever seen. Haha. Ok I’ll quit fan girling haha. 💕 God bless.
We also love that layered salad & have made it with chicken or turkey in place of the ham & salami & other ways too. It always tastes great no matter the ingredients. The only difference for me is to toss the pasta with some of the dressing before I layer it in. Sometimes I just make extra of the dressing or sometimes use ranch or blue cheese. We just like the pasta to be coated with the dressing & not dry. And yes, get yourself an egg slicer! LOL Thanks so much for sharing your meal.
Everything looked delicious! I loved seeing that little hand sneak in there to take the cookie dough beater! You have such a beautiful family and I want to thank you for sharing them with us!
Jen, Although I follow a low carb lifestyle I just LOVE your videos. You are definitely my fave in the kitchen and you have taught me so much about prep. Im just sad that I wasn’t at that amazing dinner you and your family shared. Thank you so much for teaching me so many organized short cuts in my kitchen. I wish you were around teaching me when my kiddos were little. But heyyy, it works for the Grands! Happy New Year! God Bless!
I love baking big meals! I’m totally intrigued by baking a frozen turkey. I will try it. Thanks for the 8 layer salad recipe from Pinterest. I will be making that soon.
You actually made me want turkey again when I thought I was all over it!!! Ohhh but that salad!!!! I can’t wait to make that!!! Then I wondered how my big yellow bowl got to your house!! Lol!
Thanks so much for sharing your Christmas cooking and celebrations with your family. I loved watching your food prep and cooking. You have a gorgeous family. Happy New Year Jen and I am so looking forward to your channel updates this year. Love and hugs from Australia 🇦🇺
Hi Jen Thanks for sharing...the 8 layer salad looks so inviting! I am going to make this for Sunday brunch with the ladies at church...Thanks so much for all of the recipes 💚💜💙❤
Happy New Year from NZ, have just recently found your videos, wonderful, so many great ideas that I can use when the children go back to school in February, now to find the little dip cups here.
Hi Murphy. We had the same rolls. I take a small amount of Crisco on my hands and coat each roll before putting in pan to rise. So they don't dry out before baking the when done we put a nice spread of butter on top.
Thank you for another great video! I really enjoy your meal prep tips and the recipes you share :). Happy New Year to you and your family from a fellow scrapbooker.
I’ve been making that same stuffing for years as well! Definitely drying the bread in the oven is the way to go, I just tried letting it dry overnight last week for this stuffing and the end result was mushy stuffing cause the bread wasn’t dry enough!
What a Feast! I always forget about scalloped potatoes... they are so good too! That layered salad looks amazing too! Try the Dark chocolate almond milk... my daughter likes that one way better than the regular chocolate...
New subscriber....I may have missed this --- but if you place turkey in the oven frozen --- what do you do with the bag on the inside with the liver, gizzard ?
I love my meal planner. I've had it for a couple months, but I got it using the coupon code you provided. Thank you! My aunt made the best chocolate chip cookies, and i think she used half butter, half Crisco.
I always make my cookies with Butter flavored Crisco. Cookies made with butter tend to spread out flat. Crisco cookies hold their shape so much better!
Thanks for sharing your Holiday get together with us and especially the recipes...I can't wait to try the broccoli cass.(I think I'll use tostitos medium queso cheese and possibly add rotisserie chicken to make a meal out of it)And coconut pie! Happy Holidays to you and your family
You are such an awesome cook Jennifer....wish I loved to cook....you do inspire me to want to cook more though....Happy new year to you and your family!
Fareway sounds a lot like Butera in the Chicago suburbs. It's the grocery store you run to when you don't have a ton of time to go to the grocery store. That salad looks amazeballs!!
Next time you make the pie - or have random egg whites to use up - make Ina Garten's coconut macaroons!! I make them every year for Hanukkah and they are a huge hit. Egg whites, vanilla, sweetened condensed milk and shredded coconut - that's it!
I love fareway! They pay their workers really well. I worked there for a few months when I first moved here. They started at 13.45 an hour. Hyvee started at 9.00 an hour. I have both in my town. I just go to fareway because they price match and have their shelves marked already.
Do you like the McCormick spice rack? I have been eyeing it on amazon....but not sure if it is worth the money. Love your videos.....I am in southern mn. I like seeing Hyvee hauls. You do not see that often on UA-cam 😁
Your cookies looked awesome. My cookies taste good (I agree with pulling them out early for sure) however my cookies always come out flat, I don’t know why! 🤷🏼♀️ your food just looked amazing! And those pies!! Wow
Hi Jennifer! I just found your channel and am loving your videos! You said in one video that you live in Iowa, I am wondering which part? I am in Storm Lake; I grew up in Sioux City.
Screen was green for a while @16:05
I’m not sure why that happens sometimes with longer videos! If anyone can help, I’m using PowerDirector :(
Take a look hereq: Video quality forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/48939.page
I thought it was my iPad messing up.
Yeah, green screen has happened to me too I always think it’s my phone going cray cray 😜 but now I know and I’ll wait til it goes away.
Why is it so relaxing watching you chopping food up,could watch a whole video with you just chopping.is it just me 😁
Omg Jen- please adopt me so I can eat all of your yummy food! I promise to do the dishes and clean!!!
Lol yes!
It’s August, but this popped up on my feed so I decided to watch....now I’m eager for the holidays!🤶🏻🎅🏼
I got tickled at your helper in the background! HA Wonderful video, everything looked sooooo good!

Love watching ur videos!!! So relaxing. Murphy is so cute 🐶
Murphy is so cute and hopeful for something to be dropped 😁 My dog Story does the same thing. So pumped for a good long video! Keep up the great work!
I have never heard of the 8 Layers Salad but I have heard 7 Layer Bars. The salad looks delicious. I will definitely have to try it out.
Jen. How do you get the goblet pack out of the inside?
I love baking big meals! I’m totally intrigued by baking a frozen turkey. I will try it. Thanks for the 8 layer salad recipe from Pinterest. I will be making that soon.

Great video. Love these cooking videos! Thanks girl. Happy New Year!
Happy New Year from NZ, have just recently found your videos, wonderful, so many great ideas that I can use when the children go back to school in February, now to find the little dip cups here.
Jen, you should use your food processor for all your chopping. Really makes quick work of chopping! Just a suggestion!
You are a fabulous cook and party planner all this looked delish! Happy New Year💞
I need that salad! And everything else lol. Awesome video!
Can you do some recipes using your Dutch oven? I have one but I'm not sure what to cook in it.
You should try making sausage stuffing with brioche bread, it's divine!
All of your recipes look great, per usual. Hope you had a great Christmas!
Hi Murphy. We had the same rolls. I take a small amount of Crisco on my hands and coat each roll before putting in pan to rise. So they don't dry out before baking the when done we put a nice spread of butter on top.
Good idea on the rolls!
Love you videos, you really inspire me to do meal prep on Sundays. Thank you.
Thank you for another great video! I really enjoy your meal prep tips and the recipes you share :). Happy New Year to you and your family from a fellow scrapbooker.

That was the cutest when you showed Murphy. Lol. So cute.
Loved everything about this video!
OMG. The food looked amazing. I don't eat that way any longer, but, I had to rewatch the food set up a couple of times.
I love my meal planner. I've had it for a couple months, but I got it using the coupon code you provided. Thank you! My aunt made the best chocolate chip cookies, and i think she used half butter, half Crisco.
Happy New Year!! Ordering the "mini' planner- I have her large one- and still using. But love the small for my purse. Nice recipes!!
I always make my cookies with Butter flavored Crisco. Cookies made with butter tend to spread out flat. Crisco cookies hold their shape so much better!

Thank you Sheila!
My little food chopper comes in handy when I need my produce cut up finely.
Jen I could watch you all day💞
WOW, IT ALL LOOKS SO SO YUMMY!!!
I found squeezable garlic at Aldi today. I was so excited!
Crisco shortening is great for chocolate chip cookies, but do use the butter flavor
I watched this whole video as I made Zuppa Toscana for dinner! Love your content!!
Very nice, Jen! Everything looked yummy good...and leave it to kids to make the day that much more special. :-D HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I would love to know what equipment you use for vlogging and where you got the Alton B inspired salt container. Thanks and Happy New Year!
It was a gift I’m not sure! I have a canon vixia video camera and an iPhone 8s.
It looks great. Thanks for giving us such good recipes!

I love watching you chop food. I need to get that knife.
Yum Yum it all looks fantastic, great job!!!!
Do you like the McCormick spice rack? I have been eyeing it on amazon....but not sure if it is worth the money. Love your videos.....I am in southern mn. I like seeing Hyvee hauls. You do not see that often on UA-cam 😁
I think I got my egg slicer from the dollar store and I love it.
Everything looked delicious also great ideas thank you.
I really need that 8 layer salad in my life!
It’s so good!
Wow what delicious food xx
Lovely family!!! This was such a treat, nice and long :)
Love your videos.
Murphy looks adorable :)

Always impressive, wow!
Your cookies looked awesome. My cookies taste good (I agree with pulling them out early for sure) however my cookies always come out flat, I don’t know why! 🤷🏼♀️ your food just looked amazing! And those pies!! Wow
jennifer izett if you use all butter your cookies will spread out flat. Try subbing about 1/4 margarine or shortening for 1/4 of the butter.
Holy Amazing Spread!!! I want to be your friend and invited to your house!!! LOL
Beautiful Jen 💛
I could totally eat that entire pan of stuffing. It’s my weakness. 😂😂😂
Awesome job!
I loved everything and I will try some recipes as well. Can you share or link the cheesy broccoli casserole, please?
Hi, it’s typed out in the description box
@@Jen-Chapin Thanks!
Everything looks delicious!

Iowa City area :)
@@Jen-Chapin Hello fellow Iowan! You have a new subscriber! I am really enjoying your videos!
when you said you cooked it for 12 hours I immediately thought of Christmas vacation when they carved the turkey and it busted wide open🤣🤣🤣
Hey Jen! Love your vids 😊 sounds like you already know about the green screen. Ps Murphy is too cute
I just love your videos!!
Thank you Kayla!
Ooh yummy. Tfs. Is hubby camera shy? Never get to see his shining face.
yep ;)
Jen why don’t you live in New York lol (rhetorical question)?!?!! But everything looks amazing...thanks for posting and Happy new Year 💕

Thank you Carrie!
Can you share a link to your holiday baking video. Thanks

You are super mom!
This was so fun. Felt like a family holiday when the grownups would cook. Now I'm the grown up lmfao it's not as fun!!
Great family time. ❤️😘
