This video went so fast. I was at the end and was like, "what? It's over already?". You are one of the few UA-camrs I watch that can pull off something like this. Thank you for making your videos so much fun!
Hi Jen! That was a feast! Re: Cranberry Sauce, My dear Mom and I used to make cranberry relish and it made A LOT. We gave away lots before Thanksgiving. No cooking except for some jell-o which wasn't visible. It just helped in the gelling process and sweetness. Raw cranberries. We used a meat grinder for all the ingredients. It took a couple hours to make but it was amazing!! Anyhooo long story, short I loved it after Thanksgiving on vanilla icecream and on toast for breakfast in the a.m. I thought yours looked so good like it would be yummy that way too for the leftovers. You're welcome! 😁 All of your dishes looked wonderful and I'm putting your recipes in my go-to recipe binder! Thanks so much for sharing! Hugs and blessings!
Love this video! Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday! Many years ago I used to host but family moved away, passed away so we started going to our friends home then they moved away and we joined other friends, now we go to my cousin’s home. However, I have always made a full blown Thanksgiving dinner for the two of us, not scaled down either. My husband prefers my cooking and I love cooking for him. Looks like you had a great celebration! Love the gravy boat story. For Holiday meals I always use my mom’s china-it is 80 years old and I love it.
Loved your Martha Stewart K mart story. I used to buy her stuff when it was marked down, too. I have some mini bread loaf pans that everyone still asks me where I got them from. I use them every year to make pumpkin bread. They are at least 25 years old. I miss Kmart. Love your videos.
I used to serve canned cranberry sauce, but made the Spice Islands cranberry Apple chutney recipe about 10 years ago - it is SO good! I have made it every year since. I altered it to make in my electric pressure cooker, and it’s better the longer it sits, so it’s a make ahead part, too. Highly recommend if you like things with a bit of vinegar and sweet and savory! TFS.
Yes! I look forward to this video every year! Your past videos were so helpful to me as I prepped for thanksgiving this year ❤ I made my gravy using your method and it turned out perfect! also your teeth are looking so good 🙌🏻
Hey Jen, glad to see you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving. It's also my favourite video of yours each year, lol. We have sugar like that here in Ireland for our baking but we call it caster sugar.
I just love all your videos especially your holiday cooking you have taught me so much I know it was a lot of work getting this video out and I want to let you know I really appreciate it thank you so much
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! Love seeing your sister, she looks a lot like you. Your meal looked fabulous and I’m sure it taste just as good. So appreciate all your effort you put into your videos❤️
Pro tip for any noobs; Like the video beforehand so you don’t forget about it after. Can’t tell you all how many times I had to come back and like it after because I forgot! 🤪 I hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving. ❤️ Jenn, use the left over rice flour to make some of the absolute crispiest chicken chunks. It’s the Best!
This may be simple but I tried a pumpkin pie recipe with coconut milk and it was delicious. It was so smooth! Would also love to hear more on the butter experimenting!
We had our Thanksgiving turkey dinner at the beginning of October 🇨🇦 so now I’m ready for another one at Christmas 😄 ( especially after seeing all the yummy food for your Thanksgiving 😂 )
Wow - I so admire your dedication and energy. However, the most important ingredient in all of your recipes is Love. You are amazing, and it must be extra special to be part of your family celebration. BTW - your sister is a doll and she looks and sounds just like you! It must be wonderful to be close in heart and location. Blessings to you and your family, and thanks for sharing your special day.❤
At 5:15 you were cleaning up and we had just started eating! I had to work until 3. I was impressed that I got everything on the table by 5:15. I had prepped a lot the day before so all I had to do that day was make the Turkey breast and wings and heat the rolls. I also got some of the MSE stuff- I got a set of stainless steel cookware. I use it once in awhile. Very good quality cookware. 18/10 stainless steel. My first thanksgiving dinner The cooked Turkey fell out of the oven in the tin roasting pan and went across the floor! I was thankful I washed that floor a few hours b4. I was sick that year and my mom said to serve it anyway. It was delicious!
My dad makes the best cocktail sauce. Ketchup, prepared horseradish (not creamed), worsechrire (spelling), garlic powder, onion powder. Keep tasting until it's how you like.
Oh wow, you & your sister look so much alike. You have the same smile & eyes & you are both very pretty. It's nice that you're close enough to each other that you're able to get together & share your love of cooking. Your thanksgiving meal looks so yummy.
I have never looked back since I first used Ina;'sway to cook shrimp, perfect every time:)have never made her cocktail sauces we have a store brand we like so much...looking forward to watching the rest of the video....hoping maybe a peek at Milo and his big brother...love your channel
Aww girl your never a failure i remember my first fried chicken taste like rubber and my first sausage gravy tasted like water but everyone ate it and never said anything because they didnt wanna hurt my feelings learning too be a cook takes time now everyone loves my cooking cute story jen happy happy holidays too you and your beautiful family hugsss
Need to try the sausage stuffing and cranberry curd tart. Your meal looked so good. My mom makes an amazing and simple crustless pumpkin pie Topped with cool whip I love. And always a version of the broccoli salad.
My mother made homemade cocktail sauce with Heinz chili sauce, lemon, horseradish and very finely chopped celery. Also I followed Ina's recipe to roast the shrimp for shrimp scampi. Her recipe for that dish is delicious!
Hi Jen! I just love your Thanksgiving videos too! I am Canadian and our Thanksgiving is in October so for the last couple of years I always go back and watch your old videos to get inspiration. And too funny that me and my family call sweetened condensed milk eagle brand too! Just something I grew up calling it. 😂 And yes, your sister and you look alike! Thanks for sharing her FB page I am looking forward to following it. Thanks so much for sharing your cooking. Everything looked so good. 🥰
Almost 1h of Jen!! I love you!! 😍😅 If you have hazelnuts left over you can make chewy German hazelnut macarons! It's a classic German Christmas cookie and super easy to make. Just 4 ingredients (egg whites, sugar, ground up hazelnuts and a few whole ones for decoration). And happy thanksgiving! 🦃 🤗
Great video, it's always so interesting to see what others have for their Thanksgiving meals. You can freeze your leftover hazelnuts (or any nut), just put them in an airtight container. My grandmother always used brand named butter for her baking, so we do the same. I do believe there is a difference in taste and the water content. Jmo Like you said, sometimes the name brand *is* best.
🍂🍁Happy Thanksgiving many blessings to u & ur family ... Everything looks great n yummy ... Wow ur sister is ur twin u look alot alike she only has the darker brown hair ...she even laughs just like u Jen how cute ....
I really love your channel. Great and informative as always Jen. You have such a beautiful family and I enjoyed seeing your sister again.PS maybe Kristen and you could do a cooking video sometime?
The cranberry curd tart would be good for Christmas! We had a lot of the same foods as you and like 5 pies. We are all in our late 50s / early 60s so don’t eat as much as we used to. There was tons of food left s we’ll have to scale back next year. I’ll have to check your sister’s FB page.
Your meal looked fantastic! I did wonder what happened to the cranberry tart. You got sooo much done , I would have been frantic. I used to try to do all the prep the night before, and I was still rushed on the day. At 75 I’m glad to let the kids do most of it now! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
I have some things from when my husband & I moved into our first house and attempted to furnish it that I just cannot get rid of, too! It's so sentimental...and mostly from the dollar tree
Corn casserole is one of my favorites too. Everything looked so good, kind of how I envision ours but it comes out that way. I loved to see a video of you making ham croquettes, that sounds interesting. I've always wanted to make turkey ones but barely have enough leftovers for a sandwich after our bunch is done with it. Can't wait for vlogmas.
Tip: use your Sous vide to warm a spiral ham. 140° 4-8 hours. Make a honey brown sugar glade and glaze ham and warm on BBQ grill. This method is delicious and keeps space available for your oven.
I loved your gravy boat story. Kmart was also in my area, the Martha Stewart brand was usually really good stuff. I would also wait around for clearance day. I still have some seasonal table cloths from the Living brand.
I bake a lot, I only use good butter now cause it really makes a difference. It never seemed to be a biggie before but non brand butter doesn’t soften like brand butter and it doesn’t cream properly.
My dad also makes sausage stuffin dressing as we dont make Turkey lol. Soooo good! We never make turkey because no one likes it in our family. We always make ham.
Thank you for sharing. Did you know that Libby's pumpkin pie recipe calls for Evaporated milk ... NOT condensed (sweetened condensed) milk? [I've used the Libby recipe for years, and it's one of the best.]
Your Thanksgiving looked wonderful. Your sister really looks like you. I will have to check out your sister’s FB page. I post what I have for dinner on my FB page as well. I made the Thanksgiving Casseroles with my Thanksgiving left overs. S glad you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My first Turkey was a 12 pound Butterball and I cooked it with all the giblets, neck in the plastic bag. My aunt asked me f I took out the insides and said what. That was back in 1977 so my cooking as come a long way since that first Thanksgiving. Love ya Jen.❤️
I made that same exact same tart yesterday for a friendsgiving!!! It wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but it was still good, reminded me of a lemon bar. I just wanted it to be more tart!
One of my coworkers is from Indiana and has chicken and noodles all the time. Can you share that recipe? Thanks for another video!!! Always love seeing my notification you have a video uploaded.

I guess it’s just me, I don’t like green bean casserole. My mom never made it. Had it the first time when my MIL asked if she could bring anything to thanksgiving at our house and she said she would bring that. I tasted it and did not like it at all. Never made it myself. I make creamed onions, my moms dressing, bread of some kind, roasted chanterelle mushrooms, sugar free cranberry. Of course Turkey. This year was delicious. Happy thanksgiving, Jen, to you and your family.
Lol! The mega momma bowl. I was thinking that the entire time you were using it then when you said you felt like Jamerel I started cracking up! Hello sister!!! Y’all could be twins…so beautiful 💚

Hi Jen. I think you and Kristen look very much alike. As always, your Thanksgiving spread looked amazing and delicious. I love these types of videos.
Happy holidays!
Ever since I started making my own cranberry sauce, I love it. I make jellied and whole berry sauce and can it every year.
We need a good recipe for the cranberries. Ours come out way too tart.
Jen, I’d love to see your collection of kitchen dishes, including baking dishes, serving plates, etc!
Great idea!! I always think stuff like that sounds super boring though 😝
