Custom Hot Wheel - Design Challenge

- BP Custom Creations challenged me to a custom toy build. I had to do a custom diecast Hot Wheel in his style and he had to do a custom action figure in my style. This was actually my first time ever doing a custom Hot Wheel and it was definitely a challenge! I ended up using three different Hot Wheels in this build. It definitely has a Gaslands post apocalyptic vibe to it and I added a little nod to my new 1M ROBOTS project! I did some weathering, custom paint and was able to throw in a little Gundam helmet as some road rubble in the diorama. This was an amazing challenge and I had a blast making it!

You absolutely blew me away with this as your first car! The front windscreen armor from saw blades and the roof rack details are next level and you've only just begun!

As an experienced scratchbuilder I'm sure you will know to hang onto all those extra parts. They can be used on the next project...or the one after that...etc.

that owl is the coolest thing wow, my youngest son who is 36 this year was customising hot wheels and similer when he was 9 making sci fi cars and mad max type stuff nice to see its still a thing and going strong.

I started making custom Gaslands hotwheels a while ago thanks to BP's builds, this is an amazing looking build especially since it's your first!
I had a good laugh at you suddenly pulling out a dozen extra cars you kept off-screen at the beginning. I made about 15 customs but still have 30 untouched while i started with zero 2 months ago, it's so easy to just buy a few more than you thought you'd get, just in case.
Would love to see a few more of these custom hotwheels builds from your end! It's different than your normal field but you seemed really into figuring out how to make the little puzzle pieces fit and it was a super fun video to watch!

I started collecting Hot Wheels few months ago and I have 30 and something of them,because of you I'm starting to consider making customs,but where I live everything is pricey and hard to find.
I'm a big BPCC fan and follower, so I was keen to hear about this challenge. Already watched BP's toy creation and I have to applaud your first Hot Wheel post apocalyptic build too. So well done. Looks and sounds like this was fun for both of you! Greetings from Switzerland. 🍁☕👍

Man I did a Blazer a few weeks ago, I LOVE doing these! There is NO end to what you can do. Love Your Build, I used 3 kinds of hot wheels myself, the Wheels where the big issue for me! But it worked out. I love the Jeep, and the DETAILS YOU DID! AMAIZING! THANKS FOR SHOWING US YOUR TOY/CRAFTS! lol

That's a great build. The Gundam helmet just makes it fill like a jeep out looking for parts on a battle field after a giant robot battle.
Yeah and because he's living in Japan I thought it would be a fun addition!

Props to you for trying your hand at die cast stuff! I avoid this material because it seems so challenging to work with when compared to plastic. Came out great, especially for a first attempt!
