I agree with you, i love the tall grasses, but, not so many. I think a bush of grass here and there. You're right, it makes it look un kept. But, its still a beautiful pond. 😊😊😊

I sent Dawn and Reaper pics of my plants. I take cuttings from my pothos and put them in all of my tanks. Except the one with my goldfish, lol. My main pothos is getting huge. I'm coming for you, Rich! 😂❤

You guys are in the 90s, that's so much hotter than MI and we are in something called a heat dome. Your yard looks lush and happy and the koi in the pond are living the good life. Had forgotten Shaq gave you the beautiful Japanese maple. Thanks for the closeups of the fish. SFMF 🐠🐟🐠🐟

rich you didn't pay attention to anything the guy said about the lollies he said one there are morning bluer there are evening boomers there are night bloomers there are afternoon bloomers they're middle of the day bloomers so they're going to change up as the seasons progress I gotta do is go back to your old video and watch it If you have trouble remembering watch your own video and watch what happens when they put them in If the guy does talk you're too busy trying to do camera work which I can understand you're you're trying to be busy doing something but if you're not paying attention you're not going to remember this stuff we're not your memory I'm sure 90 million people out there are going to tell you exactly what happened and what kind of plants they are they're all lilies right yeah they're all different types of lilies Some blooming night some bloom in the evening some bloom in the afternoon some blue in the morning and others blooming all day long at some only bloom for an hour so you got to pay attention rich I know it's difficult sometimes at your age with everything else you have to trick keep track of the fish room the fish josh your family tracy all the equipment everything you have to do is it is a major distraction to you you don't have time to really enjoy anything now and that's the sad part it's the saddest part of all is you get to look at the fish and go ooh that's pretty or I like that one he's really nice looking but you don't get a chance to spend time with the **** down in a chair and sit and watch one of the tanks for like 2 hours and do nothing else literally just do nothing else because you if you're like me if you have a chance to sit down for two hours you will fall asleep Guarantee it so summer's fixture like B some respects you like my mother who was always going busy busy busy busy busy busy busy 24 hours a day She would sleep two to 4 hours a day And if he wasn't asleep he was gleaning something or doing something for presents or He's always doing something mom sit down and rest nope she didn't rest until she was dead So I'm worried for you rich i'm really worried for you guys you need to get more help you need to slow down I'm not saying become sedentary I'm saying slow down your mental pace it's the more your family needs to step up rich is doing a judge doing a great job I don't know about your other kids I never see them you only have one camera occasionally because maybe that's their preference but you can mention oh so and so came over and helped me do something or so and so came over and watched Tracy for two hours for me so I could get a power now an important reverb in Port Jerry both look like they're you know getting ready to die but I mean they're they're up there in aids they're at least 70 each I think Rupert's who's close to 80 I think I'm not positive but you know you need to get some younger friends rich the old ones are going to go be going. soon eventually not that I want them to go but you know they have a life there and they have a retirement they have medical issues no thanks to the stingrays and that wasn't your fault I mean things are starting to age around the world including us people and the younger generations are not stepping up to help us oh yeah they're willing to be caretakers and take the money and run in some cases but they're not there to actually be helpful They're there for the dollar And that's our fault because it's the society we built for him that we inherited from the people before us so we're going to break the cycle you of all people need the help legitimately need help I mean you might want to do a mentor ship type thing slash for younger people that are interested in the aquarium trade or animals that want to get involved with you know like zoos and aquariums and whatnot in the future hey I want a job as a moon biologist well here's good good training as well as awards you know work thingy and the government can pay them off for working there so it's not even just a punishment to tell you situation where they're they're working there because they have to but because they want to and they're giving good experience when you talk to college and say hey look if we have people working here can they get credit for us for you this is what we know this is what we can teach saltwater fresh water animal husbandry to a degree how you can get some early nursing students I mean that might be helpful to you that way the students get to work in their field you can teach them a little bit maybe you can get paid for it maybe they can get paid for it too just the thought that's come across my mind as I'm talking here

I think you missed me saying these plants have been here for 2 and 3 years now. I say they usually stay full on flowered till it gets dark. Because that's what I'm used to. So these plants that pulled in there Flowers early are the same that had flowers till dark last year.

hey rich are any or all of the sturgeon eventually going to end up in the big pond Outback? along with the coy in the battlefish because they'd be good bottom feeders to clear up the muck also they'll make sure that there's no any crave fish invading your ponds because they will get in there eventually there's a good land crawlers camp cool rainy day they will crawl around the yard and she's seen some of them before and they will get into your pond that would you don't want them to do the otherwise let's dig it through the liner correct sturgeons eat crayfish as far as I know that's one of their food sources it's not their only food source I mean the worms and other insects in the water come on substrate or in the substrate or under the substrate so that'd be helpful for the pond ecology and who knows you might even get breeding out of them or hybridized breeding where you get half paddle fish half sturgeon depending if it's a male sturgeon there's saddle fish and if there's male paddle fish they're Persians

but the extension cord in APVC pipe that's that deep five or six inches deep Below the frost line that will in case any water gets in there it's not going to break the line And it won't shout out the cord. I would say a three inch 23 to 4 inch diameter tube should work fine. that way your cord won't corrode over time and electrify your backyard by accident cause I've seen that happen or somebody put in an extension cord they buried it a couple years later the kids were walking across it and got zapped so be careful that and by putting it in the pvc tubing you make sure you don't accidentally break it with the spade.

if you get some more water sprite just put it in one tank and let it float your largest tank that's a community tank let it flow do not let any paku or Jackarombi's get to it tetras and Grammys will nibble on the roots So will guppies matter of fact they do great in a cup of tank now if the tank is open aired like there's no top on it but there's lights above it they will grow emergent and the leaves get very very thin and fine almost like fern without extra pads you know they don't ultra branch but they'll set up a stock up and then they'll be legal off that and that's it but the ones in the water will produce more babies every pad that has a fork in it will produce a baby at the fork You could even put some in the giant pond indoor and let them float and see what happens if the animals eat it so be it you get fresh food for the vegetarians and if it ever starts to overtake a tank take out a handful dump it in the pocket tank they will eat it and they will gladly eat it they will love having the vegetation but it's a floating plane you really can't root it I found out it just I was lucky I had a very good substrate that had a lot of nutrients in it you guys don't have nutrient rich substrate Unless you use like the Aqua soil or something like that which has superb nutrients in it and they're good for a kennedorous and then you want to put that on your bottom substrate and then cap it with either sand or a small gravel and then plant your plants in that all the way down to the the aquasolio substrate it can even be just dirt for all you care you know anything that has high nutrients in it You make it algae over it for the first couple of months pushing the title to nations then you get green algae and we're string algae But you just remove those with a brush Like a toothbrush on the stick toilet toilet toilet toilet pull it out rinse it off and it's clean He also scrubbed any stones or you can leave it on the leave it on the stones if you want it's good for the placos auto sinkless whiptail calves any anything that needs algae will be good for that also on the driftwood Don't rove it up for driftwood Unless it's black beard allergy then you're going to have problems in that case you want to use a mono shrimp because they will eat the stuff I think it's nurtails we'll also eat it but nurse snails leave lots of eggs all over your tank Which do not hatch and kind of look unsightly little white dots everywhere but the amount of shrimp you could probably put in anything with probably put on with the Angels or anything smaller than Angels the Angels might eat the babies but if you have enough plants in there they will hide from the Angels or should hide I hope probably best bet is put them in with your guppies put your mother shrimp cherry shrimps the caradina and Neil Caradina shrimps mono shrimps and just the regular palm snails and rams hormones and a whole bunch of water spray it's also known as Indian water fern that's its official name but everybody calls it water spray it is not to be confused with water with steria which is a separate plant waterbrush Syria is a stem plant and needs to be planted Water strike is a floating plan And cannot be planted Or it should not be planted we just need to let it flow you can put it in your um overflow system where you have your waterfall and bits and pieces of it will break off and fall into the pond but if you put like a little mesh barrier it'll keep most of it from getting into the fog but it'll stay in the A waterfall what do you call it another sump it's weather and filter you have your wetland filter above your waterfalls for the big pond inside correct that's where you want to place it And also into smaller tanks you know what really loves them Beneficial love water spray cause that's where they're from india and eastward Indonesia same place you find the Java Fern and Java Moss I was a little bit more north and western than that Which flows into India proper and it is an actual firm that give off sparrow sports generally they reproduce by budding so if you have your hand is a palm frond or a frond of a water spray every intersection where your thumb meets the palm a new baby will form and it doesn't take very long for them to to grow once you see roots on them you can pluck them off they pluck off very easily you just be gentle remove them and place them in another tank Let them grow be great for betas all of Schuyler's beta tanks they will take up all the excess nutrients and nitrogen and their roots form a dense thicket for the babies to hide in and the branchlets act as a good place to hold a bubble nest in always had good luck with any Grammys especially like the Pearl Grammys love the stuff they'll nibble on the roots which is good for them gives them fibers that they need so they don't get the bloat sickness problems with the intestines or the swim bladder which then either make them float so they can't get under the water or sink to the bottom so they can't get back to the surface To catch air but if you ever get some more water straight somebody send them some water spray and market to Skyler so that way she can put in her beta tanks and then any extra that grows she can fill up her beta tanks and then fill up some of the other tanks for the community fish you know aquariums type community fish tetris like it because it's something to nibble on guffey's like it because of something nibble on and something to hide under so they feel more secure you guys should get some rummy nose tetras for the angel tank and that'll help you know about your water quality if your rummy noses are bright and quick and agile and very red nosed you know your water quality is perfect. if you ever get any German Rams any kind of Rams for that matter they prefer hotter water as do the Cardinal Tetris they're good companions to put together so they want to be at least 80 to 85 degrees temperature wise the warmer it is the better they are. I hope it helps you in the future for with water sprite because it is an effective plant And it can be invasive after a while that's why it's good to have plant fish the Dewey plants cause any excess plants you get the small ones you scoop them up and bucket by hand it's easy to do and just drop them off in your pocket tank and the pocket will love it or any like silver dollars we'll eat that up.
