You have some gorgeous materials there to work with! The wools are just beautiful and I’m sure the end results will be perfect. I just love the content of your videos, both thrifted and new materials (just like I use) and always quite ”mature” colors and shades, a sort of rustic eclectic style that is just what I love. Sending lots of hope and wishes for your recovery and getting some strength back ❤
Great plans! There are a couple knit patterns that might give you the look you want with the floral scuba, Simplicity 9857 or McCalls 8368. The thrifted blazer and skirt are a beautiful wool. I could see a vest made out of the skirt material if you have enough and want to sacrifice the skirt. Happy sewing! 🧵
Your Pendleton jacket is a beauty! The embroidered jacket project is a great idea! I’m working on something similar where I’m using beads and sequins to cover tiny holes in a black wool crepe. I enjoyed your video and wish you good health in the new year!
Love the Pendelton jacket. Your Kantha jacket is the stuff of dreams. I see that you self-drafted the Kantha jacket. Can you suggest a similar pattern?
Could you please share the pattern number of the Nicole Miller McCalls jacket? The R10615 on the envelope of your pattern is just a display number. The instructions should have the actual pattern number, an M followed by 4 digits. Thanks! I have the M8007 pants pattern, but I'm still new to sewing clothes, so I haven't tried it yet. It's for meant for wovens, so make sure you take that into account when you figure out what size to make. Happy sewing!
M8121 And yes I definitely have, thank you...they may be sewn already 😁. I tend to use patterns as inspiration and then go wildly in different direction ignoring all instructions, lol🤷
The tweed colors in that thrifted suit really do light you up! Great find!

I can't wait to see how they come out. Thanks for sharing, Megan!
Really enjoying your style and choices! Great video thank you :)
I send blessings for your healing.

I made my husband a beautiful shirt but got distracted at the end and reversed the buttons etc. LOL!
