This is true I have a Pinterest account I ignored for a year after randomly posting prior for a month. This Pinterest account is now receiving almost 10k views per month. I did nothing but post my merch there for a short moment. So now I am following this again to purposely build my new account.
I started with pinterest YEARS AGO! and now over 10 years later I'm revisiting it for our youtube channel and blog. Thanks for your expertise and easy-to-follow tips!
To the post frequency part of his video… he is correct. For the last month I’ve seen exponential growth from posting multiple times a day and it got overwhelming and I stopped for like 2 days and I saw my growth slow down then I started batching and pre planning the content for the automated posting . That took a huge weight off me being as I’m the type of person when I’m in the zone I can go for hours and it honestly felt like it was way faster that way even during creating and edit process!! I’ve went from 9 monthly views (pretty much never posting anything organic as I had no intention in growing the page at the time) to 2.9k monthly views in less than 30 days after implementing the multiple posts a day!!! What he is saying works for sure! The real kicker is it was all my own repurposed content! Great advice in this video!
Wanted to share a warning to people eager to use this strategy. If you open a new Pinterest account and create a board with a bunch of pins within the first few days, your account might get suspended for "spamming". This just happened to me. From what I've read, Pinterest's algorithm will find a new account suspicious if pins are being added all at once in a short amount of time. The funny thing is, I was adding pins I actually found interesting. But I guess my enthusiasm made me seem like a robot. Currently working on appealing the suspension. Wish me luck!
Thank you for these videos. Pinterest called me directly to offer help , but nobody has gone through this sort of setup and why its needed. Fantastic work - very helpful. please keep it coming.
I needed this soooo bad!! I've been trying to understand how to use Pinterest to grow my customer base and everyone else just confused me. Yours is the first video that was straightforward and concise, so easy to understand! Thank you so much for this. I look forward to binging your other videos!!😘😍

Your Pinterest strategy is on point! I've had similar success on Instagram thanks to boost app social. Excited to see how these tactics work on Pinterest. The idea pins tip is great!
Your video on this subject is not only the most recent one I could find but one of the most thorough, by far. There are times when I'm searching for something on Google and the entire first page is almost all Pinterest links. I think it's an untapped resource for YT creators. I really liked your tips on creating boards that have lots of content as soon as they're posted. Genius!
I first want to say is this. I done many research videos on UA-cam and I could not find what I was looking for until I stumble upon your video and let me tell you it was worth 15 minutes and thank you for your information it's what I was looking for!

This was so helpful. I have managed to get 90k views a month with just random posting and not much strategy. Will look forward to trying out some of these to see if I can boost that. Especially using idea pins as I wasn't really sure what they were about.
@Genevieve Johnston same for me. But the thing is...Make sure you don't give up, be consistent. You never know when one of your posts might blow up. Maybe it also takes time for the algorithms to pick your stuff up. I am overwhelmed on how many stuff happens behind the scenes. Keep posting and it will work out. Some people have thousands of videos and photos. You just need to get better at what you do and post what you enjoy most. Not only in the idea to make money, but you need to enjoy it first. First is growing audience which can take months or years, but after that there are many methods on making money out of that audience. At least, this is my take on this. I am struggling also, but i have given up on things too many times in my life. I had enough. I will do what i like and it will work out somehow.
With pinterest, one of the best ways to market would be through *influencers* - although the find may be difficult hence that's why collab tools exist such as the one with *phlanx*
Hi there! Thanks a lot for the insights. Just a quick question: is it better to focus on having a couple of boards related to your business, or to create 10-20 boards, for example? 😊
Thank you so much!!! This video is exactly what I needed to kick my page off! I was having such a problem following other tutorials and you made it so easy to get set up! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!
Thank you so much for all this VALUABLE information! I am a photographer who is very interested in utilizing Pinterest to grow my business and this has been so helpful!
Thank You so much for this great video, It saved me hundreds of hours trying to figure this out on my own, you streamlined it and I had it up and running as I followed along with your video. Cheers and thanks again!
Subscribed. Super helpful video. I've been using canva for so long and didn't even know you could pin from there or use a scheduler. Keen to trial that. Keep up the great videos!
Great video. I really appreciate how fast you went through everything and how thorough you were -- no fluff to try to make it a longer video, just good info. I'm also glad to hear that you don't need to post every day. Every other pinterest video I've watched says to post at least 3 pins every single day. Whew! When you're getting started, that's alot!! So I like your strategy of starting once a week, then gradually increasing the number of pins you post. I also didn't know that Canva allowed you to schedule pins, so that's great info. Thank you! This was really helpful info!
Canva only lets you schedule pins if you have a Pro account. With a free Buffer account, you can schedule or queue up to 10 pins. That's what I'm using right now.
Thank you for your video. I noticed that you didn't add any description or Link on the saves pins . Does it mean it's only our own pins we can add description and titled???? Please answer ❤❤❤
You say at 8:39 that you create a board and add other people's pins, so that when people are searching for that term, your board will start getting impressions. Do Boards show up in pin search?
So help! Thank you so much, I’ve gotten pretty overwhelmed at times with Pinterest. At A point I was over posting and got shadowed banned. This is extremely helpful
Glad this was helpful! Yeah, I have for sure felt overwhelmed by Pinterest as well. Its always okay take a little break and jump back in when you feel ready. :)
Hi, thanks for the video...sorry for my ignorance but I did not understand something... Should the pins always go on those boards? so when you upload/post a pin, you always post one inside a board??
Great video! Thank you!! I’m new to Pinterest business. And I’ll have my first business call tomorrow with Pinterest team. Any advice of what should I expect?
So I watched your video and followed your tips. Create some new boards and then repinned 15-20 pins related to my niche to my boards that I thought looked good and well designed to get some traffic and impressions. going before creating my own idea pins and pins. Within 10 minutes of repinning, I got an email from Pinterest saying my account had been suspended. Not sure exactly why and I appealed it but they denied my appeal. Any idea why they would had done that?
Thank you thank you thank you. The niche I’m in never uses it lol. I’m in shock really of how little it’s used by those in my niche. It’s wild. Thank you. And I was lazy too for a long time and didn’t attempt to get used to Pinterest.
If you have a brand that sells clothing, would you pin other peoples pins inside your boards still to as you suggest when starting out? I don't have a million style but wanted to know if that is not good for a product based business?
If you have the skills/ time to create you on Pins without using Canva templates it can help you have more of a unique look, but if you don't have the skills or time I would just use canva templates. (I don't have the skills or time so I just use canva templates) lol
