Doing some Pinterest work for a client and it's new to me (which she knows). She has saved boards, but only one she created. Is it better to create our own? Her goal is increased traffic to sign up for her mailing list, but in a more organic way (no freebie to "sign up" type of deal). And if creating her own is best, do we then delete the saved ones? From my personal experience, saved pins are only driving traffic to other people's pages, not to yours. You don't have to delete the saved pins, however they should be complimentary, not pins that directly compete with your business goals. Hope that helps.
This is great information! For someone who sells one of a kind items, what's the best way to deal with sold out pins that no longer link to active merchandise? The goal is to increase both traffic and sales.
Thanks for the info. How many pins can you make from one URL with different images and they are still considered a fresh pin? Can you then pin them to multiple boards in intervals? This used to be the case but I am not sure if this is still a good way to pin in 2023. Thanks!

@lisamartin7875 You can make as many pins as you want, as long as you follow the rule of thumb of making an interval of at least 1 week from pinning the first pin to the second one, and so on. About different images, they are considered different pins if the image is significantly different then the first one. You can use multiple boards on intervals of at least 1 week. The best approach in Pinterest is to use a mix of pins types (standard /video / idea pins, that will bring more exposure and awareness.

Well, Canva is great for sure when it's used as originally intended... BUT... it's being badly abused to do endless cookie-cutter pins that are thoughtlessly and indiscriminately produced with 'quantity' rather than quality in mind. Unfortunately for real creators, the platform is being inundated with this spam and hype. That's probably the reason the admins have begun to downgrade these 'quick-pins' in favor of the idea pins that require at least a little bit of thought and effort to produce.
Yeah, I could see that. But I still find a lot of value with Canva in creating pins. As you mention as long as you are using canva the “right” way it can be a very useful tool.

No it doesn’t have to match the board title. It can be whatever you would like. :) but it is helpful to put the keyword in the title when possible.
