These MX-5 races are so good, probably my favorite racing series now. I don't want to spoil anything, but really impressed with the amazing drive of the series points leader this race.
you are right. but some racing series are always great to follow : Clio Cup Europe, BTCC UK ( always crazy ), DTM ( GT sprint in Germany ) , french FFSA GT ( GT 4 ) , all the LMS and ELMS series, and the IMSA Michelin Challenge is most of the time pretty cool, and I won't forget Australian TC and Supercars. Indycars isn't so bad, and sometimes you can get some nice Nascar races.
@@alaincharlesmanaranche6561 nascar short track is always exciting to watch, or road course stuff. It’s just the super speedways that get pretty dull for viewing

Been a F1 die hard fan, but this is the best and most competitive motor racing series ever. Mazda Cup is fantastic and worth watching to the end.

Time and time again these MX5 races are thrilling, I'm starting to be a fan, I just gotta get into the teams and drivers to root for.
As a SCCA Marshall I agree it's some of the best racing out there. Detroit region member. But I'm Canadian.

man i'm so glad the mx-5 cup exists. i was bummed when miata's were removed from the GS/TCR class a couple years back, i love this type of racing

Did the tires start going off about 3/4 of the way through? Lots of going wide at that point...I don't think I've ever seen anyone go as wide as Carter in T6 🥳😎👍

Gotta say that was a dirty move in my opinion. Red car was driving defensive yes, but blue car just spins him off. I love the aggressive racing of these cars but that is going to set the tone for future races.

Man they need to update their camera angles ! Some in-vehicle angles, hood cameras, rear view cameras on the cars would completely change the viewing experience
They're too focused on glamour shots, like a move or TV show, but they need to make this more video game like for the viewers, let the audience feel the intensity of the race ! Rather than watching cars go vroom...
Most important for me: the winner No 5 is driving a car in RACING ORANGE like my MX5 at home ..... that's it !!!
Most of the leaders have folded passenger side mirror. That saids it all.

No that was not okay. The red car was driving defensively. That is not illegal. Guy very obviously pitted him on purpose.

@@Simply_R1 ya there is no excuse. I understand points and alot of money are on the line but thats pure filth. Guarantee someone does that to him he won't be soo thrilled.
I don't think that bump was on purpose but Nunes race for the win was over at that moment so maybe some kind of penalty for Rollan would be fair.
Lady in the pits lied..... I prefer Daytona or other bigger tracks than this place on the games. 🤭 Still a nice place tho fun to run. Wonder if it's more exciting for real?

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party and FFF gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called "Abgasbespaßung". :-(/
