Gotta say, I really appreciate the high quality commentary on these races. It makes it that much more entertaining. Thank you guys for your continued effort!
Had a couple of races early with brake issues or he might be leading championship points. St. Pete made it up to 6th from way back and brakes failed on last lap causing him to drop to 17th. At Mid Ohio he had brake failure first practice session and when he went to save it, car got airborne and frame bent resulting in two 17th place finishes that weekend. Points killers unfortunately but he's kinda back in hunt now going into the last weekend.
I watched the replay because I had to work and miss it live and loved every minute of it. Will have to watch the replay of Race 2 too since I have to work.
Fassnacht what a legend. From last to the top 5 in the third consecutive race. This guy has to be the driver of the week all Motorsport series combine. I don’t know if he had a time penalty but this is still incredible
Great racing but to take ten minutes to get a car out of the sand in a 40 min. race is too long for the safety recovery crew.Especially at a corner where it happens a lot.
Nah, he couldn't. as soon as he left the draft going up he would have been overtaken from behind. The draft at RA is mega important, particularly because of the fact that the Mx5 is relatively underpowered, that hill drags a LOT.

i agree
what a brilliant series, great cars, quick drivers, i hope this series lives on for a long long time
This is the most fun championship in motorsports I ever seen, love this category
Zilisch is showing fantastic pace and racecraft. Cool under pressure. Awesome race!

I'm going to start a traveling Mazda Miata body part supply company and just follow these guys around.

Fassnacht is starting to make this look like Gran Turismo the way he charges through the field!
he's got the punting people off bit down just like Gran Turismo at least
Go, Mazda MX-5 Cup! I REALLY LOVE YOU!!!
So much carnage! Everyone is out for blood! Absolutely love tis series!!! :)
Just in love of this hello from 🇲🇽🇲🇽
More thrilling racing!!
Love this racing series! But, it’s the year 2022…. Please provide better quality than 720p!
720p is our production team's standard. Thank you for your understanding.
At least they are 60fps. There are still series on youtube uploading races in 25fps lol
@@John-px9nq dont forget we get them for free.
Lap one black car white rollcage missed a shift, which started that whole thing
That same car had contact in a 3 wide dice into the corner.
Much appreciated as always, IMSA.
Do you guys plan on uploading the second race?
Is this coming to Mosport/CTMP at any point? Damn, I'd love to see this live.
Is race 2 going to be shown?
i went to this weekend
Where’s race 2?
It's published, just check the playlist.
@@imsaofficial I found it, it was 'unlisted'
Is this a mix of nd1 and nd2 cars?
Only ND2

True but again safety of the marshall should be considered. Perhaps stopping the time whilst recovery is underway ?
Why didn’t Carter try to pass Zusch up the hill?! He could have easily done so!

He also had a tiny wobble in the braking of the last corner which hurt his run up the hill
C'MON, ROLLAN, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!
