    As soon as we get those races transferred from tape and compressed to a file size small enough to put on UA-cam, we will post them to UA-cam.

    Just watn to thank the team at ALMS for uploading the full race and their brilliant race archive. I only hope that this trend continues as the series moves into it's USCR guise and maybe we can see the race archive for Grand Am uploaded here also.
    I think the series is doing a great job suppporting sports car racing globally by doing this, it makes the series visible to a whole new generation of web based viewers.
    You really are standing by your ethos of 'For the Fans'. Great Job! Keep it up.

    They went to GTC with driver's Ive never heard of (except Seth Nieman). I kinda think they went that direction because of the new Porsche and maybe in anticipation of the USCR merge.

    Flying Lizard Motorsports was Porsche GT development partner for the 997 RSR in America (Felbermayr-Proton in Europe). Porsche is busy developing their brand new 991 RSR and their new LMP1 car so they put their American GT competition on hiatus. Except either the Flying Lizard team or Core Autosport to be running the new RSR in next years USCR series.

      WEC series runs during the same time as ALMS. It would be suicide on the drivers and team to try to enter races for both series.

      Themayseffect It's fascinating to see the Rebellion Team and their drive and willpower. They run both series, admittedly with two separate cars and driver sets, but still!

    There is no way in hell the Corckscrew is the most famous corner in the world.

    • @coasteraddict10
      @coasteraddict10 10 років тому +2

      Well its wrong add it's simply not as famous as say the karussel or eu rouge or hell even maggots and beckets are more famous and that from the top of my head

    • @ZenMasterStudios
      @ZenMasterStudios 10 років тому +4

      coasteraddict10 Corkscrew is famous because the drop is so unique and it's very difficult to nail perfectly. It's definitely up there with Eau Rouge, Parabolica, Karussell, Rascasse etc..

    • @coasteraddict10
      @coasteraddict10 10 років тому +1

      In terms of it being an awesome corner, absolutely, what an unbelievably satisfying corner when you nail it. The only problem is that were Motor racing is biggest (Europe) at lot less people have heard about Laguna Seca, let along the Corkscrew. USA=/=world

    After the Le Mans failure with the Lola chassis they've abandoned the car and building a new 1 so no point carrying on and might as well concentrate on next year's regulation.
