- "Tropical North Queensland | Cinematic | 4k | Far north Queensland" is our first cinematic video of North Queensland. We had an amazing 10 days trip to Tropical North Queensland. On our trip we drive from Cairns to Townsville. Tropical North Queensland is a region of spectacular natural beauty, where the rainforest meets the reef. Cairns is the gateway to Tropical North Queensland, from Cairns you can explore Great Barrier reef and the towns such as Palm Cove, Port Douglas, Daintree and Cape Tribulation, Mission Beach and Atherton Tablelands, all with their own unique character. Tropical North Queensland offers sun-drenched beaches, island escapes, snorkelling and reef tours or simply the opportunity to relax and unwind at one of the Tropical North’s best resorts and taste the tropics at a local restaurant or bar.
Tropical North Queensland is where one of two Unesco world heritage sites located are. You can swim most places all year round, just watch out for crocodile signs. If there isn't any you'll be safe! Also be aware if you come in the wet season as flash flooding does happen but other than that you can pretty much swim here all year round🌞

You can go snorkelling pretty much all up the Tropical coast, which ever town you are in just hit up an information centre about the best places to go for a snorkelling trip and they will send you in the most magical location!

Wallaman Falls is just south of Tully and is about a 2hr drive north of Townsville. An absolute paradise!
