Oh my god! That was awesome to go in that store with you! You have the absolute best stationery shops where u are! Good grief.....I was so excited when you walked into that shop!! Wow!!!!!! I think I would not be able to resist ANYTHING in there!!!!! You did well! Great spread you did. It was fun to see you draw and paint everything, and am I correct that you used watercolor in and around ball point ? How amazing, and life changing, honestly! This video was the most exciting one you've ever done, as well as your stationery shop visits in Korea! So so fun! Thanks, Job! Best peak of happiness I've had all week! No lie! lol.

It's probably a good thing (for my wallet) that I don't have one of these stores near me. Look. at. all. THE. THINGS!!! 😍😍

"As plenty of rain give a blessing for farming, the colorful fountains have given for us." 😂 Sure, Fonte. That sounds English enough.
I love it. I was hoping to check this place out (mostly because I can't find a tea strainer anywhere?) Im glad to find a journalling person in greater vancouver!!

This stationery store trip is so fun!! The stores in Hong Kong are nowhere are big so I really felt like I was living my dream life through your vlogs and your journaling. Take care Job!

I love the Blen for it's lower center of gravity. If you're writing for a long period of time it does make a difference in terms of comfort. The "more black" Jetstream is my favorite Jetstream (at the moment) just because it feels so satisfyingly chunky. Great video!

There are no shops like this where I live (except maybe in Dublin...) and this makes me miss Vancouver so much. 😅 Thanks for sharing this with us! I really enjoy these sorts of videos, so this was a lot of fun!

I love your videos! It's so cool to see other people into analog journaling in this digital age (not that there's anything wrong with digital stuff!) I feel so inspired to journal after this! 😁😁💕Thanks! Also do you have a master list of your favorite supplies? I don't use fountain pens because I'm a lefty and I smear the ink really bad, so I'm looking for decent ballpoints to use that are good quality and nice to write with 🙂

I come from the stamping/cardmaking world into journaling, and I have a few comments. 1) I like wooden stamps too, but when you start to build up a collection, clear stamps are more economical (I laugh as I say that because a collection of 100+ stamp sets is hardly economical!). Plus with the precision of image placement needed for cardmaking, clear stamps are more useful. 2) We call that an ink blending tool we use with the Tim Holtz inks. :)
Love your vlogs where you go to stationery stores. I used to love going into them when I am outside of the US, but it might be a while before I travel again. Thanks Job!

OMG, I haven't been to Daiso/Oomomo since the pandemic started. I NEED to go explore. Holy eff, they look expensive...which might be for the best 😅

We love a lost Job! I want to try the Clame, because I like rounded top more than the oval-shaped one for the Blen. I know, this is a weird stationery person preference bahaha. I need a vacation to Richmond apparently !

Everytime I go into Omomo, I break my wallet. My favourite is their ceramics section! We don’t have 2 floors in Toronto though.

You might like to try De Atramentis Document ink, it's safe to use in fountain pens and you can watercolour over it once it's dried. I've seen many mentions online about it being good for sketching.

Wow, didn’t know daiso had changed to oomomo. I bought some printer paper at daiso a few years ago that I’ve been hoarding because it’s nice to write on, light weight and good for tip-in's in my stalogy. I only have one package left. Guess once it’s gone it’s gone. I live quite a ways from the city, so it’s not easy for me to get out to the malls. Thanks for the look around.

Hello! What insert are you using for your pages with watercolor? Is it the watercolor TN refill?

I also aggressively add to cart.... But my problem is that I immediately form an attachment to the items in my cart. Like, I feel responsible for them once I pick them up, and then I feel abandonment guilt if I later discard those items. Destructive empathic anthropomorphism.

Your video is triggering to my want to buy stationery self. I’ve got so much stationery that I don’t know if I could use over my lifetime! I promised myself to not get tempted and buy but you sure want to make me run out to Richmond now! I really enjoy your visits to local stationery stores though I have to refrain.

Typical guy action, wander around lost instead of looking at the store directory. LOL!
