Absolutely gorgeous!! I would like to tell you what I do when stenciling. Use less spray glue, and when you’ve placed your stencil, make your first pass of paint the same color as the piece of furniture. When it’s dried, it’s sealed and then you paint with the color that you want the stencil to be and it will be absolutely perfect, when you lift the stencil...like magic. And since you used much less spray adhesive, extreme little to no clean up.
I must admit I just learned something from the comment section and will be trying this method out! Thank you Kim!
Ah what a great idea!
Thank you so much for sharing these tips 😘
I don’t think that this tip would work with textured walls.
I was thinking the same thing while Kacha was rolling the first coat of white. Wait! Do a light coat in the black! Still, the Amy Howard paint looks like a marvelous product with no topcoat required. That way the white could stay sharp white. All in all a beautiful project!!!
It's so nice to have someone admit it's not as easy as the stencil websites would have you believe. Thank you for sharing this.
I love the contrast between the black and white you spent time and it is beautiful
Hello Kacha 👋 I really appreciate your honesty on how difficult this kind of project is but all your hard work and patience really made this bone inlay look so Beautiful!😍
I like it better than the first makeover. You're right it's stunning
When I stenciled things back in the 90s, I used a brush with thick, short, stiff bristles. You used a small amount of paint and then it was applied with a pouncing motion. (Like a UA-cam foundation tutorial. Lol).
Because you are going up and down and not rolling over it or brushing side to side, there isn’t bleed through at the edges.
The stencil company she used states the best way is with a roller put paint on it roll off excess paint on paper then apply. I have that brush but gonna do it with roller instead
When you look at how many stencils you get with this package suddenly it's not so expensive. I have this set & love it. I use the stencils independent of the other and have used them to create so many different designs.
On a side note...duke is the man!!! So sweet...so loving...I'd never get tired of being loved on like he does to you, either!!!!
Your determination to get it perfect is inspiring. I'm glad you said how difficult it was and you did not mislead your viewers into thinking,, oh,, anyone can do this.. Another stunning piece!!!
You are definitely a detail person. Stunning
One trick you can use with stencils is to apply an initial coat with a clear sealer, (shellac, lacquer, alkyd, or acrylic) let it dry with the stencil in place, and then apply your color over it. We sometimes use this method to seal masking tape when doing graphics over rougher surfaces, and there will be absolutely no bleed through.
As far as putting an even application of white on the edges of the curved legs; you could try using a flat painting pad, or holding a small mohair roller sleeve in your hand with just a bit of paint on it, and drag it from top to bottom over the edges in one move.
The prettiest dresser I have ever seen. Beautiful ! Love and Peace
What I love about your video's is that you share your mistakes and teach how to correct them. Plus your adorable personality is contagious! Thank you for inspiring us.!
Just gorgeous, the work came out tremendous. Thank you again, Valerie
I have watched dozens of your videos. So enjoyable. Your work is beautiful.
Very innovative and perhaps an Amish or folk art look. Duke thinks he’d like a coat to match your piece! Lol. Definitely a beautiful dramatic finish- so worth it!
It is a stunner for sure. Difficult but a labor of love, I can tell.
Fantastic results! I really appreciate your being REAL and venerable showing us how it really is! Thank you Katcha xx

I love your honesty . Such a stunning piece 🖤
The stencils look so clean!
Looks Beautiful. I have painted edges with original color and let dry then paint the stencils. This helps with bleeding if you don't have spray. I have spray too! It makes a world of difference.

I 🧡 your honesty. The finished look is great. Thank you for sharing
