- I played the 2018 version of Rust with ImpaKt. I've been saving this footage for over 5 years now and it was finally time to release it. It has the old sounds, the old graphics, jump checks, no team UI, the old map, better looking biomes, no compass or markers, and many more things that we think of when we want that nostalgia. This was nearly the best version of Rust.

RIP to Impakt, just lost a good rust friend of mine a few months ago, Loin (DrLoinstain) as he passed away in October, so many good memories with him from 2016-2019 before I quit Rust for a few years. Thank you for sharing this with us winter

2018 is probably around the time I first started watching Rust. Such a great period in Rust. Also congrats to being a married man! Also the welcome back into brought me back to when I first started watching your content.
The crazy thing about our current world is theres so many instances like this where even when someone is gone theres recordings or videos of them in HD that we can go back and see and remember friends and family that we've lost. Also WHY DOES THIS LOOK SO MUCH BETTER THAN 204 RUST?!

Impakt's exit had a noticable affect (I had to resist strongly to not say "impact") on you and your friend group Winter. Those of us who have been around a really long time saw it all first hand as people moved away. Thank you for sharing this with us, sticking with us, and I hope you know we'll stick by you as well. I miss old rust. Made me nostalgic for those old days when Winter was the bow master, the days of bizzle, chev, and of course Imapkt. Made me realize just how much the progression has changed, too. The excitement of looting that guy full of comps at airfield, seems like it takes 30 mins now to get all the loot you guys spent the whole wipe getting (granted this was vanilla and you play 2x now but still). Shit just don't hit the same anymore. Regardless, never thought I would see a old rust vid in 2024 but glad its here. Rest in peace to the homie

bit late to the video but i remember growing up watching you Ser Winter playing rust with Bizz and ImpaKT and Pookie thinking i cant wait to play this game and here i am 8 years later still watching you and playing rust. When I think about rust i think of your videos and then for some weird reason when nodes used to be all in one. Thank you for the amazing memories and introducing me to rust.

I’ve only been watching rust vids for the last year or so and it all started with Sir Winter, Willjum, Sebby and Reksmore and not necessarily in that order. I’m working my way backwards on their content so this is my first time seeing Impakt. He seemed like he was one of the good ones in the world and looking forward to getting to know him a bit better from your vids. Im sorry for your friend bud from up here in Canada.
