No way you guys found a phoenix just like that. I’ve played the game for 6 years and never found one on scorched. Only one ever spans at a time and they can only be found during a heat wave. Freaking wild man
If ur using mods S+ gives u a map of u get transmitter if not wait till a night time heat wave and look for the sun randomly appearing and use a fire wyvern and parausre if you don’t game them that heat wave use the para ping ability to locate the phinoex
You just have to find their ashes and wait till the next heat wave me and some friends did just that, it's only good for cooking meat and smelting iron, highest health in the game, which surprised us, cause of gigas and reapers hp pool

Ok Welyn here go some scorched earth tips. For stealing wyvern eggs, moth are the second best option. (also recommended making a trap to kite them into for a safer escape). For worm I recommend taming a megatherium. If you plan on getting the Phoenix, then definitely get some fire wyverns. Find it and follow until the heatwave dies down (recommended breathing fire on it at least once so the taming tracking helps so you don't lose sight of it). After the heat wave dies down, it'll turn into ash and you need to make a trap around it so it can't fly away when the next heatwave hits. Also there's a new creature known as a pyromane and they spawn in scorched at the bottom of the wyvern scar. I don't recommend going for them because of how challenging they are to tame. If you do however, on scorched you only 1 option to get your first one and that's to wait for rain and you attack it once it's flames die down, once it roars you need too ride and set wild dinos on fire and absorbing the flame. (careful if a wild pyromane spots you it will do a flame leap, catching you and your mount on fire.) For wood gathering you'll want to tame a thorny dragon. For taming the rock golem make a metal trap, high enough to block its rock throwing ability and you tame them the same way as the titanosaur. Once you manage to kill a worm you can use it's horn to tame a mantis while wearing ghillie and bug repellent. If you want to consider going for the manticore boss, you can either go with flying tames or ground tames but not both. For ground u can use fasolasuchus, rex, thyla, ceratosaurus. For flying people usually go for a lightning wyvern army with the lightning enabled. Ps. If you do end up taming wyverns, I don't know if your setting makes it so you don't need milk to raise. But for preserving milk, you can either: keep it in a wyverns inventory, keep it in a preserving bin or the best option, which is the barrel. Stuff it in the barrel and seal it. It'll last 24 hours.
I think they will wing it and it will work out cus singleplayer dinos are buffed to hell this game is so easy its like a week and a half setup with 8 people on 1x official for alpha

Mammoth where not hunted to extinction, they disappeared little by little probably cause their biome the "Mammoth steppes" wich was one of the most proeminent biome on eurasia disappeared, now only one place on earth is considered to be a Mammoth steppe. mammoth were still alive some 5000 years ago on some islands north of Siberia.

DAMN that base they build on the oasissaur looks so cozy. I always admire seeing people get creative with base layouts. my layouts never look as flashy, just streamlined.
It's very enjoyable to watch you guys play something without enemy players, just Saiyan Keep up the Ark playthrough! Oh and you should look into Ascending your characters. Beating the main boss of each map with a character so that character can transfer over to a new map. It also grants bonuses to max player level, skins, and other special benefits
Honestly didnt think I would enjoy an ark survival acended video so much. I wasnt a big fan of your videos on evolved but for this one im kinda locked in.
25:52 Yeah they nerfed getting fur stuff since you can no longer get hair and you have to actually get pelt now, hair no longer grows and is now always the same look, very disappointing.
Ankies while stationary or on wander will automatically mine any metal node they find, you can legit just hold them over a node with an Argy and they'll smack it without being told to its real useful as a Solo player.
