i think something like rust`s tech tree would be great for this game, sort of allowing people to "progress through the ages" .starting with wood or stone equipment , progressing through a "tech tree" up to steel equipment
After that insane skirmish they're going to be calling you Lord Winter! The only way to stop him is to build a base out of ladders. This game looks like a perfect fit for the Witcher and Morrowind music for sure. Something about the mouse swiping combat has got me leaning into the swings and dodges on some of those intense battles!

somthing ive always wished games like these had is a method to recycle items for materials, nothing too broken that would give 100% resources back but a way that I could take tools etc. from raided bases and break them down for resources I can actually use in whatever tier I'm at myself, otherwise it feels like that stuff gets wasted taking up space in my base
I'd like to see a Rust video where you end the wipe with a reasonably intact base that houses each of the vehicles available (Land, Air and Sea) in their assigned garages/docks in as small a footprint as possible. I'd suggest building on the water and probably having a couple of friends help out with such a large task.
This game is fricking amazing. I played the demo also and I will be hitting up the crowdfund when I get paid at the end of the month. Soo good. I also highly recommend!
Unfortunately the devs are very forgetful. I was invited to the game when it sought to replace Gloria Victus and then they never followed through with their offer and pretended they knew nothing of it. It’s a bit annoying when they come to you, and then later treat you like you are bothering them to come to their game.

I tried playing solo renown, built a 2x2 w/ honey comb and had 4 doors to banner (tc) and before I could even get the ingots to reinforce my doors I got raided by a group. they punched through my doors so quickly I was like "What the fuck." I know the basic wood doors are weak, but 4 doors were gone in 30 seconds.
@@MrWEST1 you can farm ppl who don't know the combat, but yeah solo is not really meant to siege castles or build castles. more like a bandit playstyle
My first 3 bases was raided more or less instantly, I ended up building a circle with doors going around the base, didn't get raided once more after that, people usually gave up on door 2
I have never seen a group of fully armed and armored knights get absolutely destroyed in a such a magestic way, you ser are a legend

yea the game isnt balanced at all so far, but im hoping they rework all those systems along with fixing the lag etc

Devs said they made raid tools more accessible so they could test raiding.
