When you want something dead straight this is how you do it. I see very few ways to improve on this but here they are: 1) When cross hatching go mostly long-ways and to the side as little as you can to prevent grooving. When you go fully sideways with a long block your block turns into a 3-inch long block that's very wide and rides the peaks and valleys. 2) In the future upgrade blocks from durablocks to acrylic. They're harder and it makes a difference. 3) Keep using the long-block more and the shorter one less going across the panel gaps like you were. Awesome work though! I hope he's paying for this !

I love dry guide coat. Best trick in the hobby I say. Good vid. Thanks for the Kovax tip I used Mirka but I see some places the Kovax is cheaper it looks the same nice-n-dark.

lot's of sanding! i find it easier to sand with water and a little soap. cuts faster, sand paper last longer and less powder in the air. coming along great.

Dry God coat is crazy expensive once it goes empty you can put a regular charcoal briquette in a blender and blend it to a fine powder and refill the little dispenser only a regular not a self lighting charcoal briquette

How long do you think the UreChem paint will hold up with a good clear coat? I have an old Corolla that needs a new paint job but don't want to spend much on it since its only like a $3k car. Its basically out in the CA sun all day since parked outside.

Do I have to use sealer if I already have it with 2k high build primer and guide coated could I just spray over the primer or I have to use sealer before I paint

You don't need to use sealer. You should be good with high build only. Just make sure you didn't cut through any place or corner.
Depends on what color you're spraying. Some are high solid that will cover almost instantly. But some paints tend to be transparent. Just make sure you have full coverage before adding clear. 👌 you're good!

You're a blocks are pretty good I've been using them for 10-15 years but if you're trying to get a show quality type finish where the body is laser straight you need something a little bit better durable box have too much flex and will float over the body work and the body work will look great straight on but at an angle in the reflection the body work will not be as straight as it can be if you used a better quality stiffer block
