got the same tune on my 2020 C2S (OBD flash). Went with stage2 tune since I have catless downpipes and stock exhaust and air filters. Never dyno'ed, but dragy 60-130 pulls, best I got was 7.1 sec (stock is around 9.3 for these cars). Heat soak on stock intercooler is a major issue though after a couple of hard pulls, performance does go down. I'm in Dallas too!
I upgraded the intercooler system through CSF! It improves the cooling by a ton! We should be getting the whole stage 4 + M package from M-Engineering pretty soon! 820WHP is the goal! I’m in Houston btw, neighbor! 💪🏽
Did m engineering tune on 992 base, makes it crazy fast when turbos hit, I don’t notice heat sink, but shifting seems a little sloppy now. I drive hard.
I am seriouosly considering the M Engeneering Tune for my 2020 911s 992. This video leaves open questions. I think this has to be an S but, the do not say. Also, what kind of fuel are they testing with. The seems to make a huge difference. 91 octain is the norm where I live. If they are gettin getting these number with that I am all in! I sure wish that they gave more detailed information. Can anyone shed moe light on this? Thanks
Congrats everyone.. We managed to make the classic and Epic 911 sound like a Dyson.. dump thousands to make it louder and then it sounds like a Ford Turbo diesel.
It does not black and white void your warranty. It depends on how your dealer's service department wants to handle it. Porsche has to claim without doubt, that a tune caused any potential damage that might occur.
I don’t believe this for a second, there’s no way big company like Porsche push there cars out the door with the ability to produce another 100 hp your dreaming
Hey guys it was a pleasure going on yall's dyno today. Beautiful shop and awesome cars! I was the guy tuning that Gen Coupe
Right on!
Thanks for coming!

It’s been a long time since I been out there in Garland. I remember the 1st drag car out of JOTECH
well don't be a stranger then!

Is this a Carrera S? The base is rated at 379 unless Porsche sandbagged the numbers tremendously. The numbers stock suggest it’s a S model
@@drockhead s Model has 446 stock from factory supposedly
@@drockhead Yes it is this is a Carrera S, it has the S brakes, they also replied in past comments further down that it is indeed a Carrera S
Any chance you plan on doing this to a regular 911
Only works with the turbo models
@@Jotechmotorsports aren't all the base 17+ turbo now? These things are sick lol.
Is this the base carrera or carrera s?
This is a Carrera S, it has the S brakes
Hello, was that the base model 911? Not Carrera S?
No it's a Carrera S
Has the customer had any issues with the tune since installation? And would heat soak be a problem under normal spirited driving?
Hi Dave. No issue at all since installation and no heat soak under normal conditions.
Is a obd tune available yet?
This has to be an S, not a base.
Yes it is this is a Carrera S, it has the S brakes, they also replied in past comments further down that it is indeed a Carrera S
Yo Kenny I met you through a friend of mine Chris Brock 20 years ago and you still look the same

So the base is actually 421 instead of the listed 379 ?
They didn’t put it in the title, but it’s a Carrera S.
This is a Carrera S, it has the S brakes
Ahh gotcha I was gna say. I think I personally would go for the base with the options I want if I could afford it lol
Voided Porsche warranty?
I think we can remove the tune and revert back to default before going to the service center!!! Probably a 20 min job or less
Is this a Carrera or Carrera S?
Carrera S
@@Jotechmotorsports proper 911 not awd Bull crap.
good stuff
@Janis Meija.........Sounds like you got beat by an AWD 911. Don't think you can get a 2wd Turbo S....
carrera s
@@thegrmcrckr488 you can get a sport classic with the base turbo engine (542HP) (3.7) and that car is RWD 7-Speed manual.
Hi! Do you know how much boost do you get after the tune? I got the APR tune on my 992S and only get 16...thx!
I’m pretty sure the gauge only goes to 16, at least my 991.2 after tune showed only 16 PSI
I haven’t looked after doing my 992 C2S
One day Who am I kindling I'll never own one
Nice

Fortunately you can still buy N/A Porsches if this isn't your style.
This is a Carrera S
Too bad this tune voids the warranty

Just a few we’ve done here: www.jotechracing.com/portfolio-item/joe-tech-992-turbo-s-2/
If you think this is crazy you should see what BMWs do with downpipes and a tune now lol
It's so you can beat the piss out of it at the track and have no problems.
so naive
