It's not just a high note, is that she maintain her voice during more or less 20 seconds, with an EXCELLENT vibratto, an incredible colorful musical motif and proyecting her voice.
The ones than never received singing lessons cannot fully understand how hard is to achieve only one of this techniques. Having a consistent vibratto is (for me, and my personal experience) the most difficult thing to have as you waste far more air doing it and makes you tired easily.
So she begins her epic note on 2:12 and end it on 2:31. Makes various types of vibrattos, notes, variations (twist? Idk how to say it in English), intensities... During 19 seconds, non-stop, add the air the vibratto waste and that length increased at least 10 seconds. I assure you that thoses seconds are 100% concentration and hell. Her face is so red on 2:23 she NEEDS oxygen but continues, and at the end she gasps for breath AND still sings. After doing that you would be exhausted and maybe your head be a little dizzy. Simply wow.
She did not only a high note, she did a wonderful and hazardous vocal performance, such an amazing job.

I watched 2017 eurovision when it came out but I was only 7 so I didn't realize how impressive some things that happened were, oh my god 😭
I am from Australia, I think this was one of the best performances in the entire competition that year. It felt wrong that Australia qualified over Albania in this semi final.
Albania is my favorite for 1st semi final. Lindita has amazing vocal and song. She sings with soul. Her emotion is very good. I love her passion. Should qualified and reach top 10 in grand final!!!!

I saw she had problems with the earpieces but that didn't stop her from singing perfectly the 15-second-long high note. She was flawless! ❤️ That's professionalism.

Lindita has a great, positive, charming personality, she gave a high class perfomance under the ESC stage, her vocals are some of the most exceptional that ever heard on Eurovision history and the message of this song is really too much needed for our troubled times.

Albania is a country that is ''underprivileged'' (= I am not sure for the word, I want to say that Albania does not have the same rights and luck) in Eurovision always. If this singer was from my country (Greece), she would pass to the final. She has better voice than Demy and this song is much better than the Greek one. In fact, it was the best of this year, maybe the best of Albanian songs in Eurovision.

the fact that lindita failed to qualify DESPITE hitting a 20 second clean note still baffles me to this day.
Guys I'm also upset that this didn't qualify. Lindita is my winner this year. But let's look at the positives: Lindita did us and herself justice. She gave it her all, she killed it on the stage and her vocals were on point. She was robbed, completely, from the performances that in my opinion aren't deserved qualifiers, but by Lindita entering, we found her and her song. We resonated with her beautiful words and stories and I'm sure many of us will follow her to see where she's at in the future. This just proves that songs like these are better than Eurovision.

Had Lindita not sent an old fashioned song, she would have qualified. She has the voice and she is an experienced performer. I wish Albania changed the format of picking Eurovision songs because they have amazing talents there. BTW: I loved the way she handled her disqualification; not being affected negatively. Months later and I'm still here wondering how an amazing song with an equally amazing singer didn't make the finals. It will always be my first place in this year's contest
Once I actually started noticing them, I’ve come to realise that Albania is always kinda awesome and even in my top 10. This should’ve been in the top 5.

Lithuania maybe the best from them so far, Estonia the best from Estonia, Belarus unforgettable Naviband, Armenia one of my top 3 ever, Azerbaijan with Mata Hari the best from Azeris, UK (Wales) the best from the UK, Belgium by far the best from Belgium, France was epic, Bulgaria too.
