@Matt Blaise Why should a transcendal entity matter? And what or who is he/she/it? Where have they given their opinions on what constitutes right or wrong? If you mean the Bible/Quran/Gita or other holy texts, not only do they seem very human, their preachings have changed over time (although not enough). Where is the transcendal being that is defining things? It has always been us. I don't think there can be a 'steelman' argument concerning existence of this transcendal being that we like to believe exists to make us feel less lonely in this life.
@Matt Blaise The pascals wager seems a lot like blackmail material for not believing in God, honestly. If I can have good thoughts, treat everyone in life with respect, but don't believe in God, then I'm bound for damnation? And which God should I believe in among the millions we have created for us? Should I go by popularity and number of followers like choosing an Instagram influencer to follow? And if there is an entity out there that is ready to throw our souls into damnation just because we don't 'believe' in them, why are they called God and not Dictator, which would be more correct? I love all my children, my creations, which I made, and if they don't somehow believe in my existence during their life, I'll just send them to hell to suffer for all eternity. Seems like legit love to me. Aquinas arguments seem to argue the existence of this Creator or not. Those are pretty interesting to read. And I'm not saying there is absolutely no 'creator(s) ' out there. All I'm saying is, I don't know. And to base decisions on this imaginary entity and torture the very real humans and lifeforms around us to please this imaginary entity is crazy. People can believe what they want about existence of creator or not. We can argue till our faces are blue but it is not something we can ever reach a conclusion on(unless we die maybe, idk). The problem arises when people write their own morals as the word of God and use it to control the masses and make it seem as if beheading a person for saying anything that hurts their religious sentiments is right or crucifying people for who they choose to love or how they live, even if it causes no harm to you is something that should be done. That is why morality should never be defined by religion, because it is not defined by any creator, It is just our small minds.

'എന്റേത് ' എന്ന ചിന്തയിൽ നിന്നും ഉടലെടുക്കുന്ന പ്രതിസന്ധികളിൽ ചിലത് മാത്രമാണ് 'regionalism'ഉം 'communalism'ഉം. നമ്മുടേത് എന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന എന്തിനോടും അതിയായ വൈകാരിക അടുപ്പം തോന്നുകയും മറ്റൊന്നും ഇത്രത്തോളം വരില്ലെന്നുമുള്ള ചിന്ത.. എന്റെ രാജ്യം എന്ന ചിന്തക്ക് അതീതമായി എന്റെ സംസ്ഥാനം (മലയാളി ഡാ!!!എന്ന തരത്തിലുള്ള കമന്റ്സ് തന്നെ ധാരാളം ), എന്റെ ജില്ല, എന്റെ സ്ഥലം തുടങ്ങി സംവാദങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരു അന്ത്യവുമില്ല... മതം മദ്യം പോലെ ആണ് അത് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നവർ ഒരിക്കലും അതിന്റെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ അംഗീകരിക്കില്ല. ആരെങ്കിലും വിമർശിച്ചാൽ അത് പറഞ്ഞയാൾക്കു തെറ്റിയതാണ് എന്നു വരുത്തി തീർക്കും. "ചെറിയ രീതിയിലുള്ള മദ്യപാനം ഒരു കുഴപ്പവും ഇല്ല " "ഞാൻ കുടിച് അലമ്പുണ്ടാക്കാറില്ല അതുകൊണ്ടു മദ്യം ok aanu" "മദ്യത്തിന് ശാസ്ത്രീയമായ benefits ഉണ്ട്(with random research attached)" ഇതുപോലെയുള്ള cliché alchohlics ന്യായീകരണങ്ങൾക്കു വളരെ similar ആണ് മതം നവീകരിച്ചു നന്നാക്കാൻ ഉള്ളവരുടെ വാതം.
പഠിക്കുന്ന കാലത്തു ഞാൻ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നത് കുറെ മുസ്ലിം കൂട്ടുകാരുടെ കൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു . അക്കാലത്തു TV ചന്ദ്രന്റെ പാഠം ഒന്ന് ഒരു വിലാപം എന്ന സിനിമ മനഃപൂർവം ഇസ്ലാമിനെ കരിതേച്ചു കാണിക്കുന്നതാണ് എന്ന ഒരു വിമർശനം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെയുള്ള ഒരു ചർച്ചയിൽ പങ്കിലെടുത്തപ്പോൾ പലരും പറഞ്ഞത് ഈ സിനിമയിൽ 15 വയസുള്ള കുട്ടിയെ കല്യാണം കഴിപ്പിക്കുന്നതായി കാണിക്കുന്നത് ഈ കാലത്തൊന്നും നടക്കാറില്ല. പണ്ട് നടന്നിരുന്നു. അപ്പൊ നായികയെക്കൊണ്ട് ഇപ്പോളത്തെ സിലബസ് വായിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു ഇക്കാലത്തും ഇങ്ങനെ നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട് എന്ന് കാണിക്കൽ ആണ്, അത് 'നമ്മളെ' മനഃപൂർവം അപമാനിക്കൽ ആണ് , അങ്ങനെ ഒന്നും ഇക്കാലത്തു ഇല്ല എന്നതായിരുന്നു ഉയർന്നു വന്ന പ്രധാന വാദം. 2 വർഷത്തിന് ശേഷം (2006) ഞാൻ വടക്കൻ കേരളത്തിൽ ഒരു ചെറിയ നഗരത്തിലെ ലാബിൽ ജോലി ചെയുന്ന കാലത്തു സൈൻ ചെയ്തു കൊടുത്ത പല പ്രെഗ്നൻസി പോസിറ്റീവ് ടെസ്റ്റ് റിസൾട്ട് കളും 14 -15 വയസുള്ള 10 ആം ക്ലാസ് കഴിഞ്ഞു നേരെ വിവാഹിതരായ 'കുട്ടികളുടെ' ആയിരുന്നു. മതം മനുഷ്യന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഇങ്ങനെയൊക്കെ സ്വാധീനം ചെലുത്തും എന്ന് നേരിട്ട് കണ്ട കാലം ആയിരുന്നു അത് ഇന്നും അതിനൊന്നും വലിയ വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ടായി കാണും എന്ന് എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നില്ല

@Matt Blaise Why should a transcendal entity matter? And what or who is he/she/it? Where have they given their opinions on what constitutes right or wrong? If you mean the Bible/Quran/Gita or other holy texts, not only do they seem very human, their preachings have changed over time (although not enough). Where is the transcendal being that is defining things? It has always been us. I don't think there can be a 'steelman' argument concerning existence of this transcendal being that we like to believe exists to make us feel less lonely in this life.

If I can have good thoughts, treat everyone in life with respect, but don't believe in God, then I'm bound for damnation? And which God should I believe in among the millions we have created for us? And if there is an entity out there that is ready to throw our souls into damnation just because we don't 'believe' in them, why are they called God and not Dictator, which would be more correct? Seems like legit love to me. Aquinas arguments seem to argue the existence of this Creator or not. Those are pretty interesting to read. And I'm not saying there is absolutely no 'creator(s) ' out there. All I'm saying is, I don't know. And to base decisions on this imaginary entity and torture the very real humans and lifeforms around us to please this imaginary entity is crazy. People can believe what they want about existence of creator or not. We can argue till our faces are blue but it is not something we can ever reach a conclusion on(unless we die maybe, idk). The problem arises when people write their own morals as the word of God and use it to control the masses and make it seem as if beheading a person for saying anything that hurts their religious sentiments is right or crucifying people for who they choose to love or how they live, even if it causes no harm to you is something that should be done. That is why morality should never be defined by religion, because it is not defined by any creator, It is just our small minds.

ഞാൻ എൻ്റെ ഒരു അനുഭവം പറയാം.. 2 ദിവസം മുൻപ് ഒരു തുണി കച്ചവടക്കാരൻ വന്നു. ബെഡ്ഷീറ്റുകൾക്കൊക്കെ നല്ല ലാഭം തോന്നിയതിനാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ അയൽവാസികൾ എല്ലാവരും വാങ്ങിച്ചു. അയാൾ പോയി കുറച്ച് കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോഴാണ് അയൽവാസിയായ താത്ത താൻ വാങ്ങിച്ച ബെഡ്ഷീറ്റിൽ ഒരു മാനിൻ്റെ ചിത്രം കണ്ടത്.. അതോടെ അവർ ആകെ ബേജാറായി.. ഒന്നിൻ്റെയും രൂപമോ ചിത്രമോ ഉള്ളത് വീട്ടിൽ വയ്ക്കാൻ പാടില്ല പോലും.. ഹറാം ആണത്രെ.. ഉടൻ തന്നെ അവർ ടെ വീട്ടുകാർ അയാൾ പോയ വഴിയെ പിന്തുടർന്ന് പോയി അത് മാറ്റി വാങ്ങിച്ചു... ഇതിലെ രസം എന്താന്നു വെച്ചാൽ താത്ത ഒന്നാന്തരം മാർക്സിസ്റ്റ് കാരിയാണ് ... ഞങ്ങടെ അവടന്ന് വനിതാ മതിലിൽ ഒക്കെ പങ്കെടുത്ത ധീരവനിത. 😁😁
ഞങ്ങടെ ഇവിടെ ഒരു സംഭവം ഉണ്ടായി... ഒരുത്തൻ ഹോട്ടലിൽ കയറിയാൽ ബീഫ് മാത്രമേ തട്ടു...എന്നിട്ട് കുളിച്ചിട്ടേ വീട്ടിൽ കയറൂ....കാരണം അവന്റെ തന്ത ബീഫിനെ അമ്മ ആയാണത്രെ കാണാറുള്ളത്... വാ തുറന്നാൽ മാർക്കിസ്റ്റ് ആണെന്ന് പറയുകയും ചെയ്യും😁🐄

ഈ വീഡിയോ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ഒരേ സമയം സന്തോഷവും അത്ഭുതവും തോന്നി. കാരണം, ഇത്തരം ഒരു ആശയത്തെപ്പറ്റി രണ്ട് ദിവസം മുൻപ് ഞാൻ ചിന്തിച്ചതേയുള്ളു. 'എന്റേത് ' എന്ന ചിന്തയിൽ നിന്നും ഉടലെടുക്കുന്ന പ്രതിസന്ധികളിൽ ചിലത് മാത്രമാണ് 'regionalism'ഉം 'communalism'ഉം. നമ്മുടേത് എന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന എന്തിനോടും അതിയായ വൈകാരിക അടുപ്പം തോന്നുകയും മറ്റൊന്നും ഇത്രത്തോളം വരില്ലെന്നുമുള്ള ചിന്ത.. എന്റെ രാജ്യം എന്ന ചിന്തക്ക് അതീതമായി എന്റെ സംസ്ഥാനം (മലയാളി ഡാ!!!എന്ന തരത്തിലുള്ള കമന്റ്സ് തന്നെ ധാരാളം ), എന്റെ ജില്ല, എന്റെ സ്ഥലം തുടങ്ങി സംവാദങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരു അന്ത്യവുമില്ല... South Indians-north Indians എന്ന തരത്തിലും വികാരങ്ങൾ നാം അറിയാതെ നമ്മുടെ ഉള്ളിലുണ്ട്. ഇതുപോലെ തന്നെയാണ് മതവും... ഭാഷ, പാർട്ടി, വേഷം തുടങ്ങി നിസാരമെന്ന് തോന്നുന്ന വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ പോലും നിന്റേത് എന്റേത് എന്ന വേർതിരിവ് നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു... എന്റേത് അല്ലാത്ത ഒന്നിനെ അംഗീകരിക്കാൻ മനസ് അനുവദിക്കുന്നുമില്ല... ഈ ചിന്ത പലതരത്തിലുള്ള വിഘടനവാദങ്ങൾക്കും കളമൊരുക്കുന്നു... ഒന്ന് ചിന്തിച്ചു നോക്കിയാൽ മനസിലാവും ഇവയിൽ പലതും മനുഷ്യരുടെ തന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിയാണ്... രാജ്യങ്ങൾ തമ്മിലുള്ള അതിർത്തികൾ പോലും മനുഷ്യൻ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചതാണ്.. നമ്മെ നയിക്കുന്നത് പലപ്പോഴും മിഥ്യാധാരണകളാണ്... ഇതിനു മാറ്റം വരുത്താൻ നമുക്ക് മാത്രമേ കഴിയൂ... ഏതായാലും ആരും തുറന്ന് പറയാൻ മടിക്കുന്ന ആശയങ്ങൾ ഏറ്റെടുത്ത് സ്വതസിദ്ധതയോടെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന mallu analyst ന് അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങൾ !!!

👍..വളരെ നല്ല രീതിയിൽ explain ചെയ്തു..മത വിമർശനം നടത്തിയാൽ ഉടനെ തന്നെ മതത്തെ വെളുപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ബാലൻസിംഗ് മസ്റ്റ് ആണ്! പല വിമർശനങ്ങളും ഈ ഒരു രീതിയിലേ പലരും ചെയ്യാറുള്ളൂ...ആ ഒരു വെളുപ്പിക്കൽ ഇല്ലാ എന്നത് തന്നെ മല്ലു അനലിസ്റ്റിന്റെ ഒരു വിജയമാണ്....
ഞാൻ വർഷങ്ങളായി കേൾക്കുന്ന രണ്ട് ക്ലീഷേ കോമഡികൾ ചുവടെ കൊടുക്കുന്നു!.
1."എല്ലാ മതങ്ങളും അടിസ്ഥാനപരമായി ഒന്നാണ്"
2."മതങ്ങൾ സ്നേഹിക്കാനാണ് പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്"..
മതം മദ്യം പോലെ ആണ് അത് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നവർ ഒരിക്കലും അതിന്റെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ അംഗീകരിക്കില്ല. ആരെങ്കിലും വിമർശിച്ചാൽ അത് പറഞ്ഞയാൾക്കു തെറ്റിയതാണ് എന്നു വരുത്തി തീർക്കും.

ഇതുപോലെയുള്ള cliché alchohlics ന്യായീകരണങ്ങൾക്കു വളരെ similar ആണ് മതം നവീകരിച്ചു നന്നാക്കാൻ ഉള്ളവരുടെ വാതം.

പഠിക്കുന്ന കാലത്തു ഞാൻ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നത് കുറെ മുസ്ലിം കൂട്ടുകാരുടെ കൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു . അക്കാലത്തു TV ചന്ദ്രന്റെ പാഠം ഒന്ന് ഒരു വിലാപം എന്ന സിനിമ മനഃപൂർവം ഇസ്ലാമിനെ കരിതേച്ചു കാണിക്കുന്നതാണ് എന്ന ഒരു വിമർശനം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെയുള്ള ഒരു ചർച്ചയിൽ പങ്കിലെടുത്തപ്പോൾ പലരും പറഞ്ഞത് ഈ സിനിമയിൽ 15 വയസുള്ള കുട്ടിയെ കല്യാണം കഴിപ്പിക്കുന്നതായി കാണിക്കുന്നത് ഈ കാലത്തൊന്നും നടക്കാറില്ല. പണ്ട് നടന്നിരുന്നു. അപ്പൊ നായികയെക്കൊണ്ട് ഇപ്പോളത്തെ സിലബസ് വായിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു ഇക്കാലത്തും ഇങ്ങനെ നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട് എന്ന് കാണിക്കൽ ആണ്, അത് 'നമ്മളെ' മനഃപൂർവം അപമാനിക്കൽ ആണ് , അങ്ങനെ ഒന്നും ഇക്കാലത്തു ഇല്ല എന്നതായിരുന്നു ഉയർന്നു വന്ന പ്രധാന വാദം.
2 വർഷത്തിന് ശേഷം (2006) ഞാൻ വടക്കൻ കേരളത്തിൽ ഒരു ചെറിയ നഗരത്തിലെ ലാബിൽ ജോലി ചെയുന്ന കാലത്തു സൈൻ ചെയ്തു കൊടുത്ത പല പ്രെഗ്നൻസി പോസിറ്റീവ് ടെസ്റ്റ് റിസൾട്ട് കളും 14 -15 വയസുള്ള 10 ആം ക്ലാസ് കഴിഞ്ഞു നേരെ വിവാഹിതരായ 'കുട്ടികളുടെ' ആയിരുന്നു. മതം മനുഷ്യന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഇങ്ങനെയൊക്കെ സ്വാധീനം ചെലുത്തും എന്ന് നേരിട്ട് കണ്ട കാലം ആയിരുന്നു അത്
ഇന്നും അതിനൊന്നും വലിയ വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ടായി കാണും എന്ന് എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നില്ല

പക്ഷെ ഇത് മുസ്ലിങ്ങളുടെ മാത്രം ഒരു പ്രശനം ആണെന്ന് എനിക്ക് തോന്നിയിട്ടില്ല. വടക്കേ ഇന്ത്യൻ സംസ്ഥനങ്ങളിൽ, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ഗുജറാത്തു പോലുള്ള സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ ശിശു വിവാഹങ്ങൾ കൂടുതലും ഹിന്ദുക്കൾക്ക് ഇടയിൽ ആണ്. 2 കുട്ടികളുള്ള ഇരുപതുകാരൻ ഗുജറാത്തിലെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ ഒരു സാധാരണ കാഴ്ചയാണ്. അവിടെ 17-18 വയസ്സാകുമ്പോൾ വിവാഹ ചടങ്ങു നടത്തുകയും പിന്നീട് പയ്യന് ജോലി കിട്ടുമ്പോൾ മാത്രം പെൺകുട്ടിയെ സ്വന്തം വീട്ടിലേക്കു വിളിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു വരികയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ആചാരം ഇന്നും പ്രബലം ആണ്. അതും വടക്കൻ കേരളത്തിൽ പ്രചാരത്തിലുള്ള നിക്കാഹും തമ്മിൽ പ്രായോഗികമായ ഒരു വ്യത്യാസവും ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല
പക്ഷെ ഇതൊക്കെ സാധാരക്കാരുടെ ഇടയിലെ കാര്യം ആണ്, സാമൂഹികമോ , വിദ്യാഭ്യാസപരമോ, സാമ്പത്തികമോ ശാരീരികമോ ആയ കാരണങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ട് പിന്നോക്കം നിൽക്കുന്ന ആളുകൾക്കിടയിൽ.
മതത്തിന്റെയും ആചാരത്തിന്റെയും ഇരകൾ എപ്പോളും സമൂഹത്തിലെ middle / ലോവർ ക്ലാസ് ആളുകൾ ആണ്. അപ്പർ ക്ലാസ് നു മതം ഒരു സ്റ്റാറ്റസ് സിംബൽ മാത്രവും

ജാബർ ഇബ്നു അബ്ദുല്ല വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയത്: ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ തന്റെ അടിമയോട് തന്റെ (യജമാനന്റെ) മരണശേഷം അവനെ മോചിപ്പിക്കുമെന്ന് വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തു.അടിമയുടെ യജമാനൻ മരിച്ചതിനുശേഷം പ്രവാചകൻ ഈ അടിമയെ വിളിച്ച്വരുത്തി അവനെ വിറ്റു. വിൽക്കപ്പെട്ട അതേ വർഷം തന്നെ ഈ അടിമ മരണമടഞ്ഞു .
ഈ പ്രവൃത്തി എത്ര മോശമാണെന്ന് നോക്കൂ. യജമാനന്റെ മരണശേഷം മോചിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുമെന്ന വാഗ്ദാനം ഈ അടിമയ്ക്ക് ലഭിച്ചുവെന്ന് ദൈവത്തിന് അറിയാമായിരുന്നു.എന്നിരുന്നാലും, മുഹമ്മദിന് മറ്റ് ആശയങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അടിമയെ ഏറ്റെടുക്കാൻ അവൻ തന്റെ ആളുകളെ അയച്ചു, എന്നിട്ട് അവനെ ഒരു പുതിയ യജമാനന് വിറ്റു. പണം സമ്പാദിക്കാനായി മുഹമ്മദ് ഈ അടിമയുടെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം കവർന്നെടുത്തു.തന്റെ അത്യാഗ്രഹം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുവാൻ ഉള്ള ധാർമ്മികത മുഹമ്മദിന് ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു എന്നത് വളരെ വ്യക്തമാണ്. അദ്ദേഹം ധാർമ്മികതയുടെ ഉത്തമ ഉദാഹരണമായി എല്ലാവരും പിന്തുടരേണ്ട (ഇസ്ലാം പ്രകാരം) ഒരു ആദർശ പുരുഷനായിരിക്കേണ്ടവനല്ലേ?🧠🧠🧠🐷🐷🐷🐷🕋🕋💩💩🕋🧠🧠🐷🐷🐷🐪🐪🕋💩🕋🕋
