ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് അന്നൊക്കെ ടീച്ചർ നന്നായി എടുത്ത് തന്നിരുന്നു. ഞങ്ങടെ എല്ലാ മണ്ടൻ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒക്കെ ഉത്തരം തന്നു. പക്ഷേ പ്ലസ് ടു സമയത്ത് വേറെ ഒരു ടീച്ചർ ആ രണ്ട് chapters നന്നായി സ്കിപ് ചെയ്ത് പോയി. ഒരു ഗേൾസ് സ്കൂൾ ആയിരുന്നിട് കൂടി ഇതായിരുന്നു അവസ്ഥ. പക്ഷേ tuition ലെ Sir നന്നായി പഠിപ്പിച്ചു. എല്ലാം നന്നായി എക്സ്പ്ലൈൻ ചെയ്ത് തന്നു. ആ ക്ലാസ്സിൽ ഇരുന്ന ഒരാൾക്കും അതിൽ ഒരു വൃത്തികേടും തോന്നിയില്ല. നന്നായി അത് എല്ലാം മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചു. ഇന്നും ആ sir നോട് നന്ദിയുണ്ട്. തീർച്ചയായും നമ്മുടെ കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ഇതിനെ കുറിച്ച് വ്യക്തമായി പഠിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടത് അത്യാവശ്യം ആണ്. അതിനു ടീച്ചേഴ്സ് കൂടി ശ്രമിക്കണം

I saw few comments saying sex education is not needed, teachers just have to teach biology properly. But biology only covers reproductive system and population control but sex ed covers topics like consent, bad touch and good touch, different sexual orientations, different gender identities etc. Sex education also gives awareness or remedial for what to be done when a child or an adult is in dangerous situation that may include sexual harassment as well like using helpline number etc. But somehow people think sex ed is just about sex or making babies 🤷♀️

ഞാനൊരു tuition teacher ആണ്. സ്കൂളിൽ പഠിക്കുന്ന കാലത്ത് തൊട്ടടുത്ത ക്ലാസിൽ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ടീച്ചർ ബയോളജി period boys നെ പുറത്താക്കി girl's ന് cls എടുക്കുന്നതും പിന്നീട് boy's ന് മാത്രം ആയി cls എടുക്കുന്നതും കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ഞ്ങ്ങളും aa period porath പോയി കളിക്കാം എന്ന് വിചാരിച്ച് ഇരുന്നിരുന്നു .But ഞങ്ങളുടെ sir ഒരു good teacher ആയതുകൊണ്ട് He take the class with boys and girls. അന്ന് അദ്ദേഹതോട് മോശം എന്ന് തോന്നിയെങ്കിലും +1,+2 എത്തേഡി വന്നു aa ചിന്ത മാറാൻ. ഇന്ന് ഞാൻ 5-10 വരെ കുട്ടികളെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നു(chemistry, Biology) 9 ലെ എൻ്റ ചിന്ത ഒരിക്കലും അവർക് ഉണ്ടാകില്ല എന്ന് എനിക്ക് ഉറപ്പുണ്ട്.

I live in the US, and they have a Human growth and development curriculum for kids starting from 4K. High school students have a Health class. Maybe we should rename the term Sex education to something like these so that people will understand how broad sex education can be.

ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് അന്നൊക്കെ ടീച്ചർ നന്നായി എടുത്ത് തന്നിരുന്നു. ഞങ്ങടെ എല്ലാ മണ്ടൻ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒക്കെ ഉത്തരം തന്നു. പക്ഷേ പ്ലസ് ടു സമയത്ത് വേറെ ഒരു ടീച്ചർ ആ രണ്ട് chapters നന്നായി സ്കിപ് ചെയ്ത് പോയി. ഒരു ഗേൾസ് സ്കൂൾ ആയിരുന്നിട് കൂടി ഇതായിരുന്നു അവസ്ഥ. പക്ഷേ tuition ലെ Sir നന്നായി പഠിപ്പിച്ചു. എല്ലാം നന്നായി എക്സ്പ്ലൈൻ ചെയ്ത് തന്നു. ആ ക്ലാസ്സിൽ ഇരുന്ന ഒരാൾക്കും അതിൽ ഒരു വൃത്തികേടും തോന്നിയില്ല. നന്നായി അത് എല്ലാം മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചു. ഇന്നും ആ sir നോട് നന്ദിയുണ്ട്. തീർച്ചയായും നമ്മുടെ കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ഇതിനെ കുറിച്ച് വ്യക്തമായി പഠിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടത് അത്യാവശ്യം ആണ്. അതിനു ടീച്ചേഴ്സ് കൂടി ശ്രമിക്കണം
എനിക്ക് 12thil നന്നായി class എടുത്തു തന്നു. കൂടാതെ മറ്റു ചില സാറുകൾ ഇതിനെ kurichu സംസാരിക്കുന്നതിനു ഒരു മടിയും illayirunnu.അവർ pad വേണമെങ്കിൽ നമ്മളോട് ചോദിക്കാം, അങ്ങനെ ചില കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെ open ആയി ക്ലാസ്സിൽ നിന്ന് പറയുമായിരുന്നു.

I saw few comments saying sex education is not needed, teachers just have to teach biology properly. But biology only covers reproductive system and population control but sex ed covers topics like consent, bad touch and good touch, different sexual orientations, different gender identities etc. Sex education also gives awareness or remedial for what to be done when a child or an adult is in dangerous situation that may include sexual harassment as well like using helpline number etc. But somehow people think sex ed is just about sex or making babies 🤷♀️

I live in the US, and they have a Human growth and development curriculum for kids starting from 4K. High school students have a Health class. Maybe we should rename the term Sex education to something like these so that people will understand how broad sex education can be.
