Yes! the Geth fighter squadrons mission is finally here this is probably my favorite mission in ME3 because it finally sheds so much light on the true nature of the Geth as their own race, I mean the Rannoch arc in general is just awesome
17:22 Interesting Fact for you, Lucy: During Tali's loyalty mission in Mass Effect 2, there was a quarian female who had a son named Jona, Dorn'Hazt was Jona's father
This is such an amazing section of the game. The geth/quarian conflict is so interesting and well written. BTW if you want to believe you’re holding hands with Aunty Raan go for it, you take any signs of affection during war.
31:17 "If The Quarians Had Listened To Koris, things would've gone differently" Not just Admiral Koris, but if they'd Listened to Tali, as well. Because Tali had also tried to get the Quarian leadership to make peace with the Geth
When legion ask you how man Qurians have you unmasked, there's unique dialoge if play as male Shepard and romanced Tali. Shepard's reponse is "Well... one." then legion say that still don't count.
1:46:54 "Is She Being Watched?, Is There More To The Story Than What She's Saying?" I personally think that she's being extremely cautious about her actions, trying her best not to draw too much unwanted attention
NO SPOILERS HERE BUT TAKE JAVIK ON THE FIRST MAIN STORY MISSION AFTER THE RANNOCH ARC. Right after this Rannoch arc, you get a very important main story mission (you start it on the normandy). I would HIGHLY recommend taking Javik on it. You can only choose one squadmate because one of your other squadmates will be mandatory on it. The reason I say Javik is because you get a HUGE lore revelation with him that you dont get with other squadmates. He also has more unique dialogue/scenes on it than others. Trust me, if there was a single mission in the game to bring him on, its this one.
Ehh, I disagree. It works perfectly fine without him and in some ways his inclusion worsens it. To each their own but I find him a relatively tiresome character. The most important scene with him still occurs afterwards even if not brought.
@@AntivanAmbassador His views from being raised as a prothean suck but I feel like he adds alot to this mission. The major lore reveal of that mission ends up being just one quick line and not expanded upon if he is not brought.
Absolutely loved your reaction to having to upload into the Geth concensus. Also it wasn't a glitch why you didn't have your weapon, after you do Legion's mission it deequippes your weapons for some strange reason.
When you go on a mission and are auto-equipped with a weapon (like in the Geth Consensus), the game will sometimes reset your weapon selection to the default starting weapons. It most often happens if you're playing a New Game Plus (replay the same character with all the experience and equipment) at the end of Priority: Mars.
Priority Rannoch will be...impactfull. And yes, those dialogs with Jacob would be very akward if you romanced him in ME2. And little fun fact, with the cameramode (which was introduced in the enhanced edition) You could have seen the unfinished tattoo James is getting. Funny that they implemented something no one coul see in the original ME3
So poor Jona lost both of his parents after all. Took me awhile to figure that out. In Tali's loyalty mission during the second game, when we tried to recapture the quarian ship in order to find her dad we came across a video message from one of the female quarian scientists. She mentioned, moments before getting shot by geth, that she wants Jona to be strong for his dad and that she loves him very much. If this is even possible it makes this encounter even more sad. But at least I now know what is the next increase of rude and that is "RUDE AS HELL!"
@@LucyusMaximus As I watched you during this episode, I thought about the situation the Quarians and the Geth were in. What's interesting here is that in the real world, with our forays into the world of artificial intelligence, we humans are now at a point where the quarians once were. I asked myself: If we were to eventually have an AI that is self-aware and has developed its own personality, would we humans then recognize it as an equal to life? Would we even consider something like this? Or would we immediately pull the emergency brake and say "Ok, this stupid machine is getting too scary for me, we'd better pull the plug immediately." I'm afraid we all know the answer. At our current level of cultural development, we can't even get along with our own species without killing each other at regular intervals.
Just a heads up that you may want to check the Spectre terminal. You missed a couple of small things on the two Rannoch sidequests. The trip to the Geth Consensus is one of the standouts of the game. Something a bit different, and lots of bonus lore about the Morning War and the whole Geth/Quarian dynamic. And I believe your weapon was automatically unequipped because of the 'weapon' Legion gives you in the Consensus.
Don't mean to backseat or anything, but make sure to check spectre terminal in the spectre's office on the Citadel next time...there is a quest item you missed during that spooky geth servers mission, it is now listed in spectre's terminal...it's nothing too major though, so it probably can be done off camera...but you decide what to do with your free time...
“Edicisnt reaper tech” tes she is she made feom sovereign if u question edi in m2 after she unshackled she will tell u she is a ai enhanced by code taken feom parts of soveraigb
Were you more surprised by the Geth's story or the fact that we have some on our side now? Mass Effect 1 me didn't see this coming.

It was so different! And important
17:13 Jona is the same name used by the female quarian in Tali’s loyalty mission that says mommy loves you very much. So he is now an orphan 😢
💔

Not just Admiral Koris, but if they'd Listened to Tali, as well.
Because Tali had also tried to get the Quarian leadership to make peace with the Geth
These were the kind of missions that blew me away with how deep and complex the lore of the Mass Effect universe is
I wasn't sure what to expect but this surprised me!

"I've Never Seen A Yellow Colored Geth Before"
The Yellow Colored Geth are Geth Pyros, flamethrower units
Ahh that makes sense, I was half worried for a second 😉
I always loved this part of ME3 so much. It was interesting to see the Geth's point of view in their history. So good!
It really was! So sad at the same time
Not gonna lie, I lost track of you a couple years ago but now I've rediscovered you, glad your enjoying this amazing game!
Welcome back! 😊

"Is She Being Watched?, Is There More To The Story Than What She's Saying?"
I personally think that she's being extremely cautious about her actions, trying her best not to draw too much unwanted attention
Damn, that pause from Legion tho when Shepard mentioned the first weapon used by the geth being the same sniper rifle they used.
Yeeeeah wow
I love these long streams!!
Yay!!

Nah, he's a detriment to the mission, and the conversation at the end is better if he isn't even on the ship yet.

I was told it was a glitch in the original game that somehow made it into the legendary edition

"I Mean, EDI Is Not Reaper Technology"
Technically, Lucy, EDI, does have some Reaper Technology in her construction
she asked the barber to give her that 2000's skrillex cut but on both sides
Priority Rannoch will be...impactfull.

Save and reload usually fixes the "can't talk to..." bug.
The Geth ARE people. I will take no criticism.
🔥
Priority mission Rannoch was very difficult for me not just because I was playing on insanity difficulty but also with the decisions at the end.
Cerberus did in fact use Reaper code to create EDI.
I’m assuming that the reason they made Rannoch translate as “walled garden” is because that’s also one possible translation for “paradise”.
That makes sense
@@LucyusMaximus don’t forget to check the spectre shop & terminal (I’d hate for you to miss out on the little bits)

she has reaper Tech from Sovereign cerberus got some of it its why her cyber tech is so advanced

Weird, I checked it at some point before the mission and didn't see it
Actually, EDI is partly Reaper-based technology.
This is true
Tali and the Turian clerk you should have waited till after priority rannoch
I didn't know what I was going to come across at the time. Oh well 🤷♀️
